Grief driven kathir couldn't digest the fact that he was not good enough for mullai. No Matter how much he invested for that family, how much he had sacrificed for his family's betterment. There is no one to to understand his agony.

He was drifting in self pity. The truth is he has got rejected by his family and by mullai for the second time. No point how hard he had try to forget it. And pretend to be normal. He couldn't recovered from that betrayal.

He has remembered that incident very clearly. just like happened yesterday. Those wounds are still bleeding freshly. There is no medicine for it other than her.

The whole ps family was assembled for dinner, it was Deepawali day. Everyone had enjoyed the day thoroughly all the children were playing and chit chats among elders.

Pandian, Lakshi, murugan parvathy all their children were there. And additionally some other visitors also came to celebrate the function with them.

The entire crowd had gathered in the hall after dinner and taking about many stories.

( I am referring pandian as K. Appa, which is easy to recognise as we already have another (P) parvathy)

K. Appa : (speaking generally) romba nalaiku aparam ellarum sernthurukathu nalarukuthu ila maapla?

Mu : ama maama, romba santhosama iruku.

P : enga annaum vanthurukalam, inum niraiva irunthurukum

Lak : ama parvathy.

P : avaruku nanga anga vanthu deepawali kondadanumnu asai, epo enga thala deepawali ku ponathu. Aparam pogave ilaye

K. Appa : athu epadi ma, en murumaga ilama nanga epadi inga irupom. Inga ore pasangala irukanga.
( gestures to mullai to come to him)
Iva irukathu than intha veede lakshmigarama iruku.

P : apadi ila anne. Enga annankum asai irukum la. Iva avarukum thane marumaga. Ena irunthalum avaru thane thaai maama.

Mu : vidu parvathy. Maama ena solitaru. Ullathu thane. Avaruku than intha veetlaiye mullai ya thane pidikim antha urimaila soluraru.

K. Appa : apadi solunga machan. Ivala  engayum anupa matam. Intha veetuku iva marumagala vara than pora. Athai matha mudiyathu.

(Looking at their sons) ena da solringa mullaiya nama kooda thane vachika poram?

All nods.. KK was even said ama pa. Ava inga than irupa. 😊

P : athu ipa enatha mudivu pana athelam varalatum aparam parpam. Suresh um avaluku murai thane?

K. Appa : (looking at mullai) ean ma neenga maama veetla thane irupinga?  

MM couldn't understand the depth of that question. She merely nodded her head wearing bright smile in her lips and eyes. Looking at KK

Her instant happiness has passed to KK too, He was all happy.

K. Appa : athu thane en marumagalache.

pandian's mother was all delighted to hear this and throwed an unwanted question.  She has visited them along with kathir's periyappa for this festival.

P's mother : hhmm raasathi mullai ipadi,  pothuwa sonna epadi, entha maama kooda iruka poranu sollu.

P : china pullaiga kitta enatha pesuriga ma.

P's amma : ama ena ilathatha ketutan. Moorthy avaluku dhodhu ila. Ana inum rendu payalga Irukangala athan ketan. Ne solu aaththa

MM : (confused) ena solanum paati? 🙄

Mu : (expecting a perfect answer try to explain the question to MM)

Athu vanthu ma nee valantha aparam jeewa maama, kathir rendu perla yar. Kooda iruka pora? Unaku yaara romba pidikum?

MM : Thinking athu vanthu vanthu.....

(Looking KK and Jeewa repeatedly)

Mu & Pandian : solu ma..hmm

Jeewa was little bit nervous but he had some confidence that she will choose him.

Kathir was smiling looking into mullai. He knows from his bottom of heart that she will said his name.

KK : hmmm solu mullai.

L : iru da ava solatum. Ne kulapatha.

MM : athu enaku.... (looking sternly into kathir) enaku jeewa mama va than romba pidikum.

Mu & Lak : apadi solu. 😬

Mullai articulated her choice with a grin.

Pandian gaves an understanding smile to jeewa

Murugan was smiling widely.

Lakshimi smiling at jeewa

Moorthy standing near jeewa patted his shoulder.

P' amma starts to tease jeewa..

Parvati let a hugh breath with dissatisfaction.

Jeewa standing there with a blush on his face.

And finally KK dismay to what he heard he managed to wear a small smile in his lips and tears in his eyes.

He was fully wrecked. He couldn't believe what he heard

How could it be even possible?

How his mullai could choose jeewa over him

Isn't she his own mullai.

Isn't she promised to stay with him.

Forever. 

How could she ditch him infornt of everyone?

What was the sin he. Committed to deserve such?

His tiny little heart collapsed

He noticed no one seems to bother about him.

His presence was not recognized by anyone there.

He managed to dragged himself to the room. Sitting and crying his heart out.

Later sameday all off to sleep.

As usual MM came out to sleep with them.

KK with redden eyes, and swallowing face confront MM

KK :  unaku ena pidikatha

MM : hmm

KK : unaku ena..  ena.... vida annana than pidikuma? Poi thane sona? Chuma

MM : (with little attitude) ilaye unmaiya than enaku jeewa maama than pidikum.

KK : aniku ena than pidikumnu revathy kitta sona.

MM : (rolling her eyes in anger) ahh revathy.. athu poi solirukum nan revathy kooda kovam.

KK : ana mullai enaku una mattum than pidikum elarayum vida. Unaku than ena pidikala, ne en kooda than irukanum, jeewa anna venam

MM  gave a sarcastic smile and left the place.

When heared murugan said jeewa had agreed for the marriage. Mullai sitting in her room and thinking about the same exact incident and thought to her self
