जिसका हर पल दुःख और तन्हाई में है बीता ।

पागल था जो तुझे जान ना पाया

अपनी ही कमियों में खोकर

तेरे गम से था अन्जाना ।

ये भी ना सोचा कैसे

मेरा हर शब्द तुझे तीर सा चुभा होगा

जब अपने गम में खो मैंने तुझे डांटा होगा ।

ना मेरा गम दोष तेरा था

ना मेरी तन्हाइयों की वजहा तू

फिर भी हर इल्ज़ाम मैंने तुझपे था लगाया ।

मुजरिम हूँ तेरा ऐ जान मेरी

समझा ये जब सजा मैंने पाई

खो दिया तुझे अपने झूठे गुमान में मैंने

जो तेरे प्यार को कभी समझ ना पाया ।।
