उस गली में पहले मेरे अफ़साने गए ,

या के कालिख मेरे गुज़रे कल की ।

शब्दों की ठोकर कुछ इस कदर खाई कि ,

उस गली का पता पूछने की दिल को आरज़ू ना रही ।।

राह तो हमने चुन ली ,

बस मौड़ किस्मत ने थे तय किए ।

आगाज़ का जरिया सोच ही रहे थे ,

फिर पाया मुझसे पहले उस गली में मेरे फसाने गये ।।
