"Roor jo huyi meri fida
Toh pal mein uthi koi sada
Ke dil se hua judaa judaa
Toota main iss tarah

Sadka kiya yoon ishq ka
Ke sar jhuka jahan.. deedar hua"

The grand doors of the Sheesh Mahal swung open with a loud creak, revealing Rajkumar Ved entering with an air of authority.

Behind him marched the imperial soldiers in perfect formation and their armor was gleaming under the ornate chandeliers, followed closely by the ministers.

The sudden arrival startled the maids and servants bustling about the palace and their chatter falling into a stunned silence as they scrambled to bow and step aside.

Rajkumar Ved's sharp gaze swept across the hall as his expression was unreadable but laced with an intensity that made everyone uneasy.

The sound of boots were striking the polished marble echoed ominously as he moved forward with purpose.

A senior servant who was trembling, dared to step forward and bow deeply.

The servant asked hesitantly, "Rajkumar Ved... aapka yahan achanak se aye hai. Ye das dasiya kya seva kar sakte hain?"

Ved stopped in his tracks and his voice was calm but commanding.

"Sheesh Mahal ke sabhi kaksh ko band karwao. Koi andar ya bahar na jaaye. Yahan har ek kone ki talashi lo."

The command sent a wave of whispers among the gathered staff, their fear evident.

One of the ministers stepped closer, clearing his throat cautiously.

"Rajkumar, yeh to Senapati Shivaal ka sheesh mahal hai. Ye unke liye bahut khaas hai. Kya yeh uchit hoga?"

Ved's eyes flashed dangerously as he turned to face the minister and said, "Bandi kalkothari me nahi hai, Mantri ji. Bhaiya Shivaal ne to Yuvrani Samanvitha ko Kalkothari me kaid kiya tha. Parantu wo wahan nahi hai aur ye mat bhulo ki ye pita ji ka aadesh hai".

The minister fell silent, bowing slightly in reluctant agreement. Prince Ved motioned to the soldiers.

Rajkumar Ved said, "Shuru karo talashi. Bandi ko dhundho".

His eyes glistened with wickedness as he wanted to see Samanvitha whom Shivaal had hid her carefully from everyone's eyes.

The soldiers dispersed quickly as their heavy footsteps resonated through the hallways.

The servants and maids exchanged anxious glances, some whispering prayers as the imperial forces began their search.

Ved remained in the center of the hall, his expression cold and determined, his very presence commanding respect and fear alike.

Ganga came to Ved. She bowed respectfully before speaking, her voice steady but cautious and said, "Rajkumar Ved, Rajdhara rajya ka Bandi yahan Sheesh Mahal me nahi hai".

Ved's sharp eyes bore into her, his tone laced with suspicion.

"Accha? To fir ye aushadhi kiske liye aur Vaidhya yahan kyun aya tha?", Rajkumar Ved questioned.

Before Ganga could respond, another attendant/ maid, Mala, stepped forward and bowed gracefully. Her voice was soft, but her words carried urgency.

"Rajkumar, ish dasi ki tabiyat kharab thi. Ishliye sahi Vaidhya ko Yuvraj ne bulaya tha."

Ved's expression hardened further as he studied Mala's face, searching for any sign of deceit.

"Aur yeh tabiyat kharab hone ka samay bhi usi din kyun aaya jab Rajkumari Samanvitha gayab hui?"

Mala faltered slightly, lowering her gaze as her fingers nervously fidgeted with the hem of her clothes.

Ganga intervened, trying to maintain calm.

Ganga said, "Rajkumar, hum sirf apne kartavya nibha rahe hain. Jo kuch bhi aap puchhna chahte hain, hum poori imaandari se jawab denge."

Ved's piercing gaze didn't waver. His voice dropped to a dangerous calm.

"Yeh imaandari abhi tak mujhe nazar nahi aayi. Sach samne lana hoga. Agar bandi yahan nahi hai, to mujhe sabit karo ki meri shanka galat hai."

The hall grew silent as Ved's words echoed, leaving both Ganga and Mala visibly unsettled. The air was thick with tension as the investigation pressed forward under the watchful eyes of the crown prince.

Suddenly, a soldier came running into the grand hall as he bowed before Rajkumar Ved and spoke in a slightly trembling voice.

"Rajkumar Ved! Yahan stree ke hone ki koi nishani nahi mili... parantu--"

The soldier hesitated, his words trailing off.

Ved's sharp gaze fixed on him, and his voice thundered through the hall.

"Parantu kya?".

The soldier straightened himself and responded cautiously.

"Purush ke vastra mile hai."

Ved's brows furrowed deeply as a look of confusion and suspicion crossed his face.

"Kya? Purush ke vastra?"

The soldier nodded and bowed respectfully.

"Ji Rajkumar."

The room grew heavier with tension. Ganga stepped forward cautiously as her voice was low and steady, trying to bring some calm.

"Rajkumar Ved! Yahan koi stree ya bandi nahi hai."

Ved didn't even glance at her, his mind racing with possibilities. His jaw tightened, and his voice carried an edge of authority and frustration.

"Fir bhi dhundho. Chappa chappa chan maro. Mujhe is Sheesh Mahal ke ek ek kone ki talashi chahiye."

The soldiers exchanged glances before scattering swiftly to continue their search.

The clinking of armor and hurried footsteps echoed in the vast hall as Ved stood still while his mind was clouded with questions and his eyes were burning with determination.

Suddenly, the grand main doors of the Sheesh Mahal burst open with a loud thud, echoing through the ornate chamber.

The sound startled everyone, and before they could react, a deep, furious voice roared, shaking the very foundation of the hall.

"Shivaal ke Sheesh Mahal me, Shivaal ke aadesh ke bina aane ki himmat kaise hui tumhari, Ved?"

All eyes turned toward the imposing figure standing at the entrance. Senapati Shivaal, clad in his regal armor.

His presence as commanding as his voice, stepped into the hall. His fiery gaze locked onto Rajkumar Ved, and the air grew thick with tension.

The soldiers instinctively stepped back, their hands moving to their weapons, unsure of what was to come. Ved turned slowly, his expression was calm but his jaw tightening as he met Shivaal's gaze.

Rajkumar Ved said, "Bhaiya Shivaal, ye aadesh Kundarastra ke Maharaj Abhisaar Samaiyar ka hai".

Shivaal's lips curled into a mocking smile, though his eyes burned with fury.

As he said, "Sheesh Mahal aur ushka har kone per Shivaal ka adhikar hai aur ish Sheesh Mahal ka niyam main banata hun. Akhir mere Sheesh Mahal me aur yuddh me jeete hue tohfe me itni dilchaspi kyun?"

Ved stepped forward as his tone was icy but firm.

"Bhaiya! Niyam tab tak maane jaate hain jab tak sach chhupa rahe. Ish Sheesh Mahal ke ek ek kone ki talashi hogi, chahe apko pasand ho ya na ho. Aur ye tohfa ek Yuvrani hai jiske karan Kundarastra pe sankat ke badal bandra rahe hai"

The tension in the room escalated, the two powerful figures standing toe-to-toe, their clash of authority threatening to spark a storm within the walls of the Sheesh Mahal.
