Was a peace of mind ever existed to you? Well in short,no. How can it exist when your boyfriend is a literal hero who comes home Saying Its nothing when his head is bleeding. Now here you were sitting on the couch watching the news,contemplating whether you want to confront chan,your boyfriend about the way he was putting The world as the priority and is neglecting you. Or just surrender yourself to the present.

''Breaking news : Bahng chan,the hero of our city says — ''I'll put our city infront of anything. Even if it includes my own girlfriend. So fear not.'' Everyone is in adoration of our hero.''

That news was the first one that caught your eyes. Even before you,the city Was there in his head. 'What about me chan?',you thought. The anxiety and rage bubbling up inside you.'What do you mean you choose the city instead of your girlfriend? The love of your life?'

Your knee bouncing as your teeth played with your nails,biting them as you were mad. Oh he was gonna regret it.But what you didnt know was that,you were not alone in this house. 

''Well well,what do we have here?'' 

A voice came from the kitchen as you got startled. You have heard the voice once but you cant seem to remember whos. 

Curious you got up,only to be met by a grey-haired man who had features akin to a Cat. Fierce but delicate. ''Who are you?'' You asked the man. Damn was he hot. 

''Oh well mi amor What can I say? I came here for you. Name's Lee Minho.'' He remarked with a smirk on his face and a slight raise of his eyebrow. Lee Minho? Who is— wait a minute,its him. The guy who wants to destroy the city.

The villain. 

''Lee Minho? You mean its you?'' You say shocked. Why would he need you? 

''Mhm it is me. Surprised kitten?'' Kitten? Thats new. In a short and sweet word,you were shocked. 

''What do you want from me? I swear to god if you say your gonna use me as a bait.'' You say cutting yourself off. After all he is a villain.

''Hm your a smart kitten aren't you? I want to take you to my place. Make you mine and watch him break down in pieces. Cant a guy do that hm?'' He says,stepping closer to you only to be stopped by the counter. How did he come inside anyways? As he was stepping closer to you,you noticed that the window was open. 

''If you want to take me. Just do it. I cant be here anymore.'' You reply making Him shocked. Normally people would plead him to not take them. But you..You were different. And he Knew that.

''Sick of this tiny space or your so called boyfriend?''

He said,referring to the mansion you were living in with chan. This is tiny to him? You wonder.

''Both. Just take me.'' You were really wanting to go away from This place. From him. He kept neglecting you and it hurts.

He chuckles. 'I wonder what his reaction would be.' He wonders. 

''Sure darling,I will. Just trust me.'' Oh a villain would be heartless and never cares about anyone,You thought. Is he really a villain? Or is he just a person who chose this path Because of his past and his personality is different? How bad you want to know. 

You kept thinking about chan as minho took you out the mansion. Shaking your head as to shake those thoughts off, you sat in the car.

It was 10 pm as This is happening. Chan is probably out the city taking care of it rather than you.Maybe the villain is better than a hero. Is he even a hero if he doesnt look After his girlfriend? You loved him. Gave him your all. Adjusted. But now you cant. You dont want to. 

As the thoughts were swimming in your mind,the only thing minho can focus on as you both got into the car was only,You. 

The way your face looks angelic. Oh god why did you go into the hero's arms? He wonders. 

The drive was silent. You swimming across a ocean called guilt and hurt as he was focusing on driving. 

After a bit you both reached his mansion. It was bigger than yours. Maybe thats why yours seemed 'tiny' to him.

''We're here sweetie.'' He says and unbuckles his seat belt. Stepping out and opening your door before you could. How can a villain be a gentleman? All you could question is,do you really want to be held here with him?

As you both walk to the mansion,Chan calls you. Anger bubbling up inside you as you decline the call. Minho looks at you smirking. Of course he does,he knows that now you despise chan and is willing to be with him. 

You decide to speak up after he got you settled in the couch. ''Minho. If you were a hero, would you care about your girlfriend or the world?'' You ask,Feeling stupid for asking this casually to a villain. 

''Hero..Pftt. If I was a hero I would still look after my girlfriend. The world can die.'' Those..those words hit you like a rock. So hard. 

I sigh. Looking down at my hands. The same hands which hugged and patted Chan's back. The same one are now betraying him. I feel stupid. So stupid to just casually come to minho. The villain that too—

''Y/N! Where Are you?'' 

Suddenly,chan's voice erupted from the quiet mansion I was sitting in. Breaking the silence.

With a smirk,Minho got up from the couch making his way to Chan whos kneeling on the carpet. ''Now you come here? How are you Doing Chan.'' Minho says to chan, Almost as a mockery rather than a question.

Chan looks at him,his blood boiling. Even if he was busy with the world,he still loved you. And knowing that you Probably lost interest in him Because of that broke his heart. 'Will she leave me for the villain?' Was the only thought in his head. 

''Where's my girlfriend? I wont leave you alone until you tell me shes safe lee minho. I swear if you lay a hand on her you will face the consequences.'' Chan says through gritted teeth. Minho said nothing but moved out the way for Chan to see that you were sitting on minho's couch. He immediately got up and walked to you checking you for injuries. You swat his hand away.

''Where was this worry when you said that you will choose the world over your girlfriend chan?'' You spit out, making chan Surprised and guilty. ''Listen baby i-- its just that--'' Chan rambles on and on, not Finding a excuse.

Your gaze was sharp with anger. Your doe eyes turned into siren eyes as you look down at chan who was crouching to your level.

''Please..please baby. I will do anything Please. I am sorry. I am so sorry for being like that. I..had no choice.'' Chan kept repeating the words, 'I am sorry'. You couldnt help but feel guilty. Maybe it wasnt his fault,Maybe he didnt have a choice. Maybe he does love you. But these thoughts were interuppted by a sudden thud.

''Thats enough Chan! Even by standing here I cant bare to see her hurting. You always got what you wanted! Not me,never me.'' Minho said as he slammed his fist onto the table. Your eyes dart between Chan and him. 

This is a dangerous game, and you know Minho is Using you to play with chan. ''Ever since childhood its Always you who got everything! Always.'' Minho said, making you a bit Surprised. 'Since childhood..?'' you think.

All the dots are connecting now. Slowly the wheels in your mind are turning.

All the times chan averted his gaze from you when you asked about his childhood, the amount of times he always shut the T.V. off when Minho was on Display. The amount of times these happened,it all makes sense now.

Chan looks up from your hands that he was Holding, To minho

''I didnt want them! I didnt want the fame,the money,the applause. Everything. All I wanted was peace. Which I had until I became a..hero. Do you think I like being a hero? Worrying my loved ones,always pondering about how to save Seoul city. I never had time for her! I never had time for anyone!'' Chan yelled, shocking both of you. He was never known for a outburst.

And this explains how much He's stressed to have a outburst. 

You take your hand to his cheek, hesitant yet steady. ''Chan..Chan look at me honey.'' You say, tilting his head to look at you. Minho's face crunched up in jealousy and a wave of emotions.

Chan looks up at you,his curls falling in front of his eyes as you moved them away. His gaze was vulnerable as he looked at You. Almost close to breaking down. ''Baby..darling You dont have to handle everything on your own. I am here for you arent I?'' You ask chan as you caress his cheek. 

''Shut up with the nonsense Y/N! You dont know the past of him! The past him was a player.'' Minho said,interuppting the fond moment between you both. ''Player..?'' You ask. Surprised that chan was a player in the past. 

But you werent affected,least to say atleast doubting him. Chan looked at Minho. If looks could kill,Minho would've dropped dead infront you both. 

''Baby,Y/N please yes I was a player but it was in the past. I love you baby. Please I cant lose you. Please.'' Chan Pleads looking at you as you make him stand up, Standing up next to him and holding his hand. You look at minho, ''Minho,What happened in the past is in the past. And our relationship isnt in your hands. It was never in your hands.'' You say as you walk up to minho.

''Kindness and good always wins over evil minho.'' You whisper in his ear and move to chan. Looking into his eyes fondly as you caress his cheek before pulling him into a kiss.

You purposefully did this infront of Minho.  The way his face was grimacing in jealousy and anger,the way his fist is clenching,the way he is standing there not able to do anything is just too entertaining to you.

Chan melts into your embrace,not Knowing your intentions to rile Minho up. The kiss is a soft and lingering one. Your tongue danced with his as he wrapped a hand around your waist groaning as he feels your hands on his chest. 

As you both pull away, Minho was looking at you almost as if he didnt get what he wanted. 

''I am sorry baby. I will take care of you from now on yeah?'' Chan says before Walking up to minho. 

''I didnt want all this. Its not too late Minho. Never too late. So make your decision.'' Chan said as he looked at minho hoping he will return to the past minho. 

The one who was always happy.

''Never. I am not stopping until I win.'' Minho said, chan expected it but hearing minho say it shocked him. It pained him to see minho like this. But what could he do? He was stubborn since their childhood.

''Well...I tried my best minho. Its upto you.'' Chan said before taking your hand in it and leaving minho's house leaving Minho to drown in his usual loneliness. 

This was a start to something new and something challenging and you knew someone would he hurt in the process.

A part of you wished it would be the world instead of you three. Somehow, you wanted both of them to be safe.

''You will regret this chan. 𝘐 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶.'' Minho said to himself before looking at his knuckles which turned white.
