Chapter Seven-El!
It was about the middle of the day. I laid on the basement floor, unable to move. Even flinching causes me to wince and whimper in pain.
Why did this have to happen to us? Why do people have to be so sick minded? I hear footsteps coming down the stairs and into the basement I was in. I began to tremble as I see Edward enter. I pulled my knees to my chest, regardless of the pain it caused me.
He approached me and lifted me up by the shock collar he put on me earlier. I let out a pained moan as I place my hands over his, trying to pry them off of me.
"Don't fight!" He yelled.
"S-so-sorry," I choked out before dropping my hands to my sides again. He threw me on the floor and a scream escaped my lips.
"You ran away!" He screamed angrily. I flinched at his tone and shuddered.
"I-I'm s-so so-sorry!" I frantically apologize.
"Sorry isn't enough!" He yelled as he kicked my ribs. I felt them crack and suddenly, I had the urge to puke. He kicked me a few more times. I screamed in pain and agony as tears streamed down my face.
I laid on the floor, helplessly. Blood pooled around me and I couldn't move if my life depended on it. The whip lashes on my back stung as he kicked me one last time and I rolled onto my back.
I coughed up blood and just prayed that I would stop. I couldn't even scream anymore. My whole body ached. He left me there. Broken, bruised, and bloody.
I needed to get my siblings out of here, but not in this condition. I heard him slam and lock the door, that's when I knew that I was probably screwed.
This... Monster was going to kill me.
Tony's POV
"Jarvis, pull up any weird reports near us," I demanded.
"Yes, sir." Jarvis began to search. Pictures, videos, and news reports flew by until he stopped at one. "This might help, sir."
"Thanks, Jarvis," I replied before reading what was there. There was one report that stood out to me in particular.
"A shady man was caught dragging a distressed looking female into his house by the collar of her shirt. She was wearing blue jeans, and a black Stark Industries hoodie." Jarvis read out loud as I zoomed in on it.
"Pete! Get down here!"
"What is it Mr.Stark?!" He asked, "Do you have a lead!?"
"Possibly. Remember giving El your hoodie to wear?" I questioned.
"Yea- wait, how did you know about that!? I never told you!"
"I watched the security footage. But anyways, a distressed female wearing a black Stark industries hoodie was caught being dragged into a house."
"Where!?" He asked, his eyes lit up like a Christmas tree.
"Jarvis, where did this happen?"
"Right here, sir." He stated in his thick English accent as he zoomed in on a map. It was only a ten-minute drive. But flying would be much quicker.
"Jarvis, program mark 52 to go there," I demanded.
"What about me Mr.Stark!? I can help!"
"Kid, you can help by calling Dr. Banner and getting him over here. Chances are she's hurt." I sadly stated. Pete just nodded his head.
I got into the Iron Man suit and got there in 2 minutes. I busted the door open. A man was standing there with a gun held to my head. He shot it, leaving nothing but a small dent in the suit.
"Nice try," I smirked. I faced my palm towards him and the blue circle began glowing. I shot him into the wall. Knowing that he put my daug- I mean Electra through hell.
"El!?" I screamed as I paced the house. I opened every door I saw until I realized a smaller door that was sort of hidden.
"El!" I screamed as I opened the door. I rushed down the stairs and almost fainted at the sight in front of me.
She was sprawled out on the floor. Her ribs were swollen, so was her face. She laid in a puddle of her own blood. And her whole body was covered in bruises. I was disgusted. How could someone do this to another person?
I rushed over to her. She was only gone for three days! Her frame was frail and fragile. I picked her up bridal style as gently as I could. She gasped in pain and started shaking in my grasp.
"Hey, kid. It's me. I won't hurt you," She was still shaking and that's when I realized it was her injuries.
I held her tight and rushed her home. Banner was already there and had prepared a table. I set her down on the table.
"What happened to her!?" He exclaimed.
"We'll get into that later! Help her!" I demanded. She was shivering. Pete rushed into the room and watched from the corner, occasionally asking if we needed any help.
Banner cut her hoodie off and gave her an X-ray.
"She has 9 broken ribs... 5 on the right side and 4 on the left side." He stated. He flipped her over and we saw all the whip lashes. Even I could tell they were new. They were red, raw, blistered and bloody.
Peter quickly rushed out of the room and I heard him puking. He didn't come back after that. We cut off the pant legs of her jeans. Her legs were bruised. Some of the bruises were so bad they busted open.
Then we cut off the collar from her neck. Her skin was bright red and burnt. It was a shock collar. She also had several other burns on her body as well. Banner started to silently stitch up the bad wounds.
I could tell that he was going as fast as he could.
"Here," He said as he handed me ointment, "Apply it to her burns." I simply nodded my head and applied it to her neck first.

It took us over an hour to fully get done. Pete and I were sitting on the floor, leaning up against the wall. El groaned and both of our heads shot up. Her eyes fluttered awake. That's when I realized that they were red and puffy from crying.
"Hey, hey. It's okay... You're safe now. We got you out of there," I explained in a soft voice. She just looked at me, not even saying anything. I could tell she was about to cry and say something. I'm so glad she trusts me now.
Then she looked at Pete and masked all the pain she was feeling with a very, very fake smile.
"Sorry, your hoodie is ruined..." She trailed off. Peter chuckled.
"It's fine. I can buy a new one." Pete said as he sat on the bed. The bed moved as he did this and El moaned in extreme pain. I have never seen anyone stand up so fast in my life before.
"Oh gosh... I am so, so sorry, El!" He frantically apologized.
"It's fine," She responded. Her voice was hoarse. I grabbed the glass of water off of the bedside table and offered it to her.
"I don't think I will be able to hold anything down..." She shamefully admits.
"Hey Pete, can you give a moment?" I requested. He nodded his head and walked out, shutting the door behind him.
I gently stroked El's hair. She was on the verge of tears.
"How did you meet him?" I asked. She shuddered and then began to tell me the story.
"My mom... wasn't the greatest person. She got pregnant too many times. Each time was a different guy. None of us know our fathers. Edward was the closest thing I had to a Father. And then he killed my mom, and became just abusive and mean." She lets out a few sobs before continuing. I felt bad for asking her. "He used my siblings as leverage to get me to do things. He had me for a little over two years. And then you helped me. And here I am."
Tears were streaming down her face in waves. This asshole really did ruin her.
"Why'd you go back?" I asked as I looked at her with pity.
"He said that he would ki-kill my bro-brother sh-Shawn..." She let out another choked sob. She lifted her hand to her mouth to try and muffle the loud, pained sobs.
"Can I tell you something?" I asked her.
She turned to face me and nodded.
"El, you're my daughter..."
