I had been in an accident recently.

Me and dad were talking about something as he drove on the highway. I seriously love talking with my father. I was asking him about my birthday present. I was basically jumping to know what was my present. My father took his eyes off the road for a moment.

I swear it wasn't more than a second, but I guess one second is enough.

We crashed with another car. One moment I could see the glass shattering and piercing in my skin and the other moment ...darkness.

After that accident, I couldn't wake up. I could hear sirens but couldn't open my eyes. I couldn't feel much pain and I was thankful for it but I wanted to see my father.

I just woke up a few seconds ago.
I am in my room lying on the bed. I honestly don't know long it has been. I tried moving my hands and legs to feel pain but thankfully there wasn't any. I felt relieved. I slowly stood up and got out of my room. There was nobody to be seen.

That's weird....

I could hear some noises coming out of my backyard so I decided to check it out. I really wanted to see my father. As I entered the backyard, I saw a small crowd of my family members surrounding something.

NO. IT CAN'T BE.

My father couldn't be dead.
NO!!
I started screaming but no one was listening to me . I was panicking. I pushed everyone in my way and ran to the front.

I didn't see dad.
I saw me.
My body.
Dead.
