"Yes. You're smart. I can still naturally find a mate, it's just much harder than if I'd been born a werewolf. By the way, that's not information a lot of humans know." He arched his eyebrow so sexily at me that I couldn't help but swoon just a bit.

        "And I haven't been human in a long time." He let go of my gaze and went ahead and sat down.

        It took me a good while to realize what was the thing that Bash wanted me to do. Suddenly the task didn't seem so scary as I thought it was going to be.

        "So I'm just your replacement mate until you find your true mate that's not in this pack. Okay that seems easy enough master." I whispered to him softly before I went ahead and sat down right next to him.

         "But.I'm guessing I need to tell you my real name sooner than expected? " I asked him. Bash glanced back towards me, making sure that I wasn't bluffing I suppose. I give him a smile making him return it as well.

         "Yes, sorry. And I'll need you to call me Bash, as well." Immediately I started to blush, woah me just saying his name right of the bat is going to be extremely hard.

        "Okay, Bash my name is Acazia Lightingale and it's a pleasure meeting you." I smiled at him warmly hopping he won't freak that I'm from a family of well respected humans. My family is sort of on demand, it's sort of the reason why I have so many brothers and sisters.

        It was his turn to look at me extremely stunned, like if i was some sort of rare china piece. "Nice to meet you, too, Acazia Lightingale. Wow." He coughed a bit and just tried to compose himself as best as possible. The inner me did a little victory dance for making him feel bashful this time.

        "Okay Bash calm down, my duty is to be by your side so please don't make it difficult for me okay?" I silently requested. So this might be one of the most awkward jobs I've done.

        "Would it be easier if no one else knew?" He asked, it was nice for him to try and make this more comfortable.

        "No I don't mind at all. It's my name and I'm proud of it." I explained to him.

        "I should let you know," He takes my hand in his and just looked at my azure eyes for a quick minute.

        "No one  is really going to be happy about your... Nature." It took my a minute to understand where he was coming from. Of course a pack as well known as him would be second guessing about a human being their Luna. Not that I was really going to be their Luna but still, my stay here is probably going to be really hard.

        "Hey I know what many supernaturals think of humans. I have a clear idea on what I'm getting into here. Besides don't lose hope I know you're going to find your true mate." I whispered that last part for only him to hear.

        I let our fingers lace together perfectly, forgetting about the small beat skip, I gave him a confident smile. "You ready partner?"

        He squeezes my hand lightly before he leans in and kisses the top of my hand. "Glad to hear it. And thank you for that, partner," 

        We eventually stood up again and walked out of the room to face well whoever was there to torture me with questions. But once we were outside no one was there, the place was absolutely clean from existence.

         "Where is everybody? " I whispered to him.

        "I skipped a pack meeting to go to your little interview. They'll be out soon, but for now, let's get you settled. Hungry? Or do you want the tour?" My heart litterally swayed for just a moment.. Is this guy a werewolf prince charaming?!

        "Oh don't you worry about me I kind of ate before I went to the auction." I explained to him and walked with him. "Maybe a tour doesn't sound so much."

        He smiles. "Alright, the tour then. You can meet some of the others on the way too." Still holding hands we walked down the hall, I still don't know if I'm going to survive here!

        "Wow this seems really cool and everything. I mean I can't wait to start cooking in that kitchen of yours" I jumped so excited and looked over at him.

        "Wait do we sleep together?" I tilted my head towards him

        He literally frozed right in front of me before he turned around to look at me with such a worried expression.

        "No," He says immediately. "No, we don't have to. Its not how humans think, mating. It's a bond not... A position. With my true mate, I would have to, but only after the matebond was established and even then, a while after." He makes another pause and shakes his head.

        "No, we're alright. That was one of your rules. I wouldn't break my word on that." His green eyes looked geniuenly honest.

        I thought it was really cute to see him over react like that. Then again I'm a teen with different way to talk about these things. "Bash I didn't mean it like that. I meant that if we're going to share a room together. You know like roomies."

        He loosen up easily, laughing a little. "Oh. No, we won't. At least not at first, some may get suspicious if we aren't after a while." Which is perfectly understandable. If what I read about werewolves is right then I think everyone would be suspicious if we didn't share a bedroom together.

        "Okay then I'm going to enjoy my little freedom as much as I can, so could you introduce me to my temp bedroom?" I smiled at him, it was easy to talk to him. It was a good quality in a master.

        Something flickered across his eyes before he chuckled and gestured down the hall, where there's a flight of stairs. "Second floor. Jeanie's room is right next door, and I think you two will get along."

        "Okay I'll just settle down and I'll meet you later okay?" I asked him feeling a bit weird to be asking him this, "I mean see you soon." I say to him and started walking up the stairs. I only looked back once to see him look at me and walk away. Towards these huge twin oak doors where I assume is where he has his meetings.

        "Oh boy." I sighed and walked towards my new room.
