Author's Note:

I know that I should be grateful that I don't have to be stuck on the computer 24/7 even when well I love to write. But as I learned from a movie one time "Experiences make a good inspiration for a writer" So yeah hopefully my experiences help out in thist story.
Thank you all for voting and reading because this story made it to #995 in Werewolf. Which is a huge accomplishment.

I was bassically just shunned from Bash for more than two hours, I mean I know that it seemed like he had to deal with something important but that didn't meand that I just wanted to sit here on this bed doing absolutely nothing!
I let out a sigh and let myself fall back on the comfy queen size bed with silk red sheets. I bite my lip thinking back on a very dark flashback of mine but I just pushed it back before I remember completely. I close my eyes and just keep my ears open to any unsualy sounds around me.
Seconds passed and nothing. Minutes continued and no noise was made.
"God, I can't do this!" I snap a bit in my head and just swing my legs forward and walk towards the huge oak door. My palms are gently placed against the cool wood and press my right side of my face so my ear could try to hear through the dense door.
I bit my lip nervously before I slid my hand down to the door knob and ever so lightly turned the knob. It was the most intense minute of my life until I opened the door.
"Eep!" I squealed when I was faced by a nice set of built set of pecks and a six pack. My eyes slowly scanned up to see Bash with an arched eyebrow expression.
"What are you doing?" He scoffed trying to not be rude and well laugh at me.
"I was..." I tralied off looking back at the room. "I have no good excuse as to what I was doing." I confessed.
I was waiting for the scolding and possibly a light yelling, but instead he just let out a small chuckle before he ruffled my dark loose brunnette hair.
"You don't have to be sneaky, no one will get mad at you here." He made his way inside the room with me and closed the door behind him.
That was my point though! No one has ever mentioned a word that werewolves are polite or nice or any of those possitive adjectives. As a matter of fact, vicious, beast-like, and jerks are the most used. So why on earth was Bash an exception, if my memory worked correctly his last name is not common here in the United States at all. And I studied werewolves for just a bit.
I walked over to his side and just bit my cheek before Bash went ahead and sat down on well 'my' bed.
"You never really answered my question." I said to him, placing one hand on my hip not wanting to sit down for this.
His eyes locked back to mine and there was only confusion in his gaze. "Which question?" He asked.
I literally did not hide my eye roll and face smack, does he have an short memory span as well?
"I asked you what your kink is, and you have tried every stunt to avoid answering me." I didn't mean to snap but when I did I couldn't help but wait for his scorning. I mean I have just yelled sort of at my boss and an Alpha of all the things!
Instead he gave me that same grim expression and stood absolutely quiet for a minute. Then out of nowhere he chuckled keeping his eyes hypnotizing green eyes on me.
"My kink is what I need you to do. Or at least pretend to do."
"I am not understanding you very well right now." I whispered to him.
His smile fades a bit. "The basics are that my pack is pressuring a mate. I don't want a mate from the pack, so..." He stood up from the bed and walked towards me, all humor was clearly gone as he confessed to me.
"That's why you're here. To pretend at least, so I can hold them off until they eventually move on from that subject."
"Let me get this straight... you want me to be that?" I tried to sound as calm as possible, but never in my life have I been offered such a complicated and dangerous role in my entire life! I've been in life threatening situations, I once worked with a succubi for crying out loud.
"Don't be afraid to say the job title, you're my substitute Luna." He gave me that heart stopping crooked smile making me almost forget my name.
"Where's the window?" I managed to croak as soon as i pried myself away from those amazingly green eyes.
Before I even reached the window strong warm arms were around me in a second and I was swept up and picked over his shoulder. Making my blush brightly and feel extremely over concious of my body. Yes I have a very dainty body! But I hate to be picked up!
"Bash put me down!" I tapped his shoulder trying to not lose my cool. He gently placed me back on my bed and sat down right next to me.
"Look I know this is a lot to ask of you, because there's no possibility that you may grasp the idea of what it means to be Luna." He whispers to me but at least tries to be consider it. I let my head lean against the bed and I just stare at the roof.
"A maid is one thing, but a luna?" I say to him.
"It's not going to be something temporary Light, it's just... I need you to help me get my pack back in my favor." The bed creaks and he's back on his feet. I want to stay laying down but I know that it would be rude of me not to listen to him.
"I don't understand, why is your pack being so difficult on you?" I sat up and criss crossed my legs a bit.
"It's a long story that I will tell you after the meeting, but Light I need to know before I leave. I know that this job title is not what you wanted but... I need you." He takes my hands in his eyes and held them close to his chest. I know that he wasn't asking me to be a Luna because he wanted to do anything perverted. His words seemed true and those human eyes were pleading me.
I let out a sigh of defeat and just smiled at him warmly.
"Okay but there will be absolutely no sex in this. I will offer you my companionship. Deal?" I point my finger at him, this time it was my turn to arch my eyebrow.
He shakes his head. "You misunderstand. For humans, a mate is... someone you have offspring with. For us, we share something called a matebond. It's almost like... Soulmates in your terms." he let's go of my hand thinking that I would feel uncomfortable.
I couldn't help but feel like a total idjiot, why on earth did I still feel the need to over think of everything he has done to me.
"Woah but don't werewolves naturally find their mates? I mean its a whole universal cupid thing going on. Why haven't you found your mate... unless." I read a lot about supernaturals and there's some glitches when it comes non natural born supernaturals.
"You were a human..." I asked feeling so lost. So now I know what I am needed to do. But now I had even more questions!
