Chat X Akumatized!Reader

Important: OK, so to further explain what made you feel the way do in this one shot, Lila had willingly akumatized herself so she could become Rena Rouge (I think that's how you spell it?) and use her flute to create a Mirage. A mirage of Chat and Ladybug getting all coupley a few blocks away from your house. OK? OK. Continue on my fellow readers.

Y/n POV:

"Y/n I bet it's just a big misunderstanding! Chat wouldn't do that to you, he loves you! Not Ladybug!" Zurri squealed as she nestled into my now sopping wet cheeks.

However, I payed no mind and buried my face deeper into my knees,  which were propped up against my chest. "Y/n... " Zurri whispered she she pulled away from my cheek. "Don't worry... Everything will be alright. I'll make sure of that! We'll get through this together... " Zurri said softly, hovering in front of my balled up form.

I looked up at her, meeting her large, minty green pupils with my own. "Why does everyone I know and love, leave me? Is there something wrong with me, Zurri? Did I do something wrong?" I croaked, making Zurri's eyes widen.

"No, there's nothing wrong with you Y/n! There has never been anything wrong with you. Everyone that leaves just... Doesn't know how to play with the fire that's inside you. They don't know how to tame it. So once they get past the fake you, the model you, with the "picture perfect" smile, they don't know what to do. So instead of getting a once in a lifetime kinda friend, they just leave..." Zurri explained.

My eyes began to water even more at her words, in both a good and bad way. "Zurri... I'm just so tired. First Chat leaves, my mother's sudden disappearance, my Father's depression because my mother's disappearance... I'm just so tired of faking that I'm fine... Chat was the last thing I was holding onto... I just need... I just want something, anything, anyone, to hold onto so I can ease this pain... " I whimper as I look down into my lap, tears streaming down more than ever before.

"I know, Y/n. There, there... In order for there to be a light in one's life, there must first be darkness. Everything will come throu..."

I felt so frustrated, depressed, confused, and overall emotionally exhausted that I unconsciously tuned out Zurri's soothing voice...

"Y/NNN!!!"

Was the last thing I heard before me vision was suddenly clouded, and a deep, dark sounding voice rang through my ears. "Hello, Eclipse. I'm Hawkmoth, and I'm here to grant you the power to seize the emotion of happiness, to make everyone as blind to it as you once were. That way you can make others know exactly what you feel daily when you finally take off your 'happy' smile, but in return I ask you to give me Luna Moon's, Chat's, and Ladybug's miraculous"

My head shot up as I looked around the room only to find my kwami gone fand an overwhelming sense of fear overcoming me. I looked around the room for where the voice could be coming from, uttering  out a single "But-"

"Eclipse."

With that, all my rational thoughts of being Luna Moon, went out the window.  The center of my universe was flipped into everything I fought so hard for it not to be. I smiled wickedly, all the fear I felt before evaporated. "You can count on me, Hawkmoth... "

Didn't take much for the cat and bug to come running out, to be honest. Take a few people's happiness away, and you get a great view of what you used to feel. And it was all because of that stupid cat. He's the one who pushed me overboard.

"Awe did someone wake up on the wrong side of the bed?" Chat chuckled, as he surveyed me from top to bottom. "Umh, Chat? Why does she look familiar?" Ladybug questions, making his usually confidential stature falter once he inspected me more carefully.

"Stupid cat, still blind I see. Once again, your lady out smarts you. 10/10 on your perceptiveness Ladybug, I applaud you" I smirk as I walk closer to the two heroines, making them tense. "Luna Moon-?" 

"Nope. Una más? (translation: once more ((try?))" I say as my heels clack slowly against the pavement. I grab ahold of the small cresent Moon that's clipped to my abdomen. The crescent moon in which absorbs people's happiness. "Would it help if I took my hood off?"

"Chat-"

"Hold on Ladybug. I want to see who it is before we save them. The persons voice sounds... Familiar. So if you're offering to take off that hood of yours, I'm not complaining" Chat said, sounding and looking relaxed as his bright green eyes never leave my figure.

"As you wish... But remember, ever action has it's price" I said as I reached back and pulled my hood off, making my h/c h/l flow out. My now gray, lifeless looking eyes with eye bags under them hit the fresh air under the now cloudy skies.

Silently, without anyone's realization, Ladybug quickly ran to Master Fu in order to get more recruitments. She'd get Alya to be the real Rena Rouge, Nino to be Caraspace, and Luka to be Viperion. "Luna... Where are you?" She muttered as she ran through the trees of Paris.

As soon as Chat realized it was me, he fell to his knees and his eyes watered. "Y-Y-Y/n?... W-who did this to you?!"

I walked slowly towards Chat's curled up figure and spoke: "You did. You and everyone else in my life. I'm always forced, no, expected to have this fake façade that everything is fine. I should smile this 'perfect smile' and pretend like my entire world isn't shattering" I say calmly, stopping in my path towards him, then continuing.

"Your mother has disappeared without a word, or trace? Make sure to smile real big to hide that fact. Your dad has become ill and is now severely depressed due to the love of his life's absence? Make sure your eyes don't show that truth. Your boyfriend, the one guy that you fully trusted, the one that told you I love you, was also the man to be found only a few blocks away from your house canoodling with the one person he gave up on: Ladybug? Well, make sure to completely forget about it by tomorrow or else everyone else will find out about it"

At that moment, Chat's eyes shot up just as fast as his body did. "What are you talking about? Canoodling with Ladybug? I already got my dream girl, why would I go for someone who isn't just that?" Chat questioned.

"I donno" I state bluntly as I stop just a few feet away from were Chat was. "Eclipse! Now's your chance to take his miraculous while he's distracted! Take it, take it now!" Hawkmoth said, making me release a dark sounding giggle.

"Roger that, Hawkmoth"

However, before I could even launch myself at Chat, a flash of green, orange, red, and turquoise flood my vision. And just as suddenly as that, my arms, and legs became immobile. "Hey!"

"Sorry Y/n" said Nino, or should I say Caraspace said as he looked down at me. His eyes were filled with sympathy, which angered me. "Ugh! Just let the duck go of me! That's enough of a sorry for me!"

"Guys, let go of her... " Chat said, standing up once more and looking  down at my pinned figure. "But-" Luka, or should I say Viperion said. "Please? I have a plan"

"... Alright" Alya hesitantly said before all three of them let go of me and stepped back. I got up and dusted myself off, glaring daggers at the people I once called 'teammates'. 

I quickly shot up and ran towards Chat, the man who ripped my heart out, the man I loved. Chat just stared at me, and before I knew it, he had me in his arms.

"Fight it, Y/n. I know your stronger than this. What you saw was an illusion because I'd never leave you, you're all I've ever wanted and needed in my life. Have I ever lied to you?" Chat said, making my struggling form stop.

"Where's my Moonlight? My beacon that shines upon my darkest hours. The one and anly person I plan.. No...  I see, myself marrying someday? You know that I would never do anything with ladybug, you know just as well as I do that I wouldn't. Just everything else in your life is throwing you off balance..."

Author's Note: OK, so you know everyone's identify except for Chats due to watching to much detective series when you were younger. However, nobody else knows your Luna Moon, not does anybody else know each others identify. OK? OK. On with the story!

Nobody's POV:

Y/n stared at her lover, her eyes reverting back and forth from a beautiful and heathy e/c hue, to a dull gray. "You can do this... Fight it" Chat said, eyes never leaving Y/n changing ones.

"He's just saying that so he can get you back to normal, and take away your happiness! Do you want to revert back to your depressed self and well up in your room? That's what that alley cat is going to do if you give in! He's going to go straight back to Ladybug once he gets what he wants!" Hawkmoth's voice rang in Y/n's head. 

"C-Chat... I.... That... Oww... I don't believe you... UGH STAHWP IT" Y/n yelled angrily, clutching her head due to the overwhelming pain flooding her senses.

"Y/n! Chat do something!" Ladybug panicked, seeing Y/n falling onto her knees, on the ground.
  
"C'mon Y/n, love. My lady, you can fight away that bad akuma, you can fight away Hawkmoth from corrupting you even more, I just know can" Chat said soothingly as he crouched down in front of 'Eclipse'.

Y/n, or 'Eclipse' stilled her shaking shoulders, then before anyone could react, launched herself at Chat; pinning him to the ground with her own body.

"Chat!" Carapace, Viperion, Rena Rouge, and Ladybug all yelled in unison. "No! Stay back you guys! I did this to her, I should be the one to suffer the consequences.... I'll have a better idea of what my Y/n feels daily, that way I can help her when we turn her back" Chat said, smiling sadly as he stared at Y/n dull gray eyes.

"Hahaha! Fat chance, you stupid cat. Did you really think your words were having an effect on me? Think again! Now give me your miraculous!" Y/n said as she now hoved over him, her face in close proximity from his own as tried to grab the hand that wore the miraculous.

Y/n, hesitantly grabbed Chats hand, obviously unaware to what was happing until it was to late. Chat laced his gloved fingers with the hand Eclipse was using to grab Chat's miraculous. Then he tugged her so that her body was pressed against his as he captured her lips in his own.

Eclipse's eyes widened, then they closed as she gave into his kiss, muscles relaxing against his body; making Chat's heart skip a beat. Reluctantly, he pulled away, only to see Eclipse's eyes a now vibrant e/c.

"Chat.... I.... Ah...!" Y/n's now normal voice coming out as a painful help as she clutched her head once more and stumbled off Chat. "Stop...! "

"Y/n!" Rena Rouge ran up to her friend, the person she saw as the younger sister she never had. "Ah..! Hawkmoth... You can go ahead and make me feel all the pain in the world.... Ah!... But I won't hurt anymore innocent people...! I won't let you, not with my body and mind...! Ugh!" Rena Rouge cradled Y/n in her arms.

"Where's her akuma at!?" Viperion yelled as he saw Eclipse's eyes once again revert back from one color to another. Chat stood back, trying to identify where the akuma was and distract himself from his heart ripping to pieces upon hearing Y/n's painful cries.

Y/n slowly, and wobbly got up while she gripped at the crescent moon on her abdomen. Then she looked up and glared daggers at the top of the Eiffel Tower, where a dark figure stood.  "I swear...! When I'm better... I'm going to make sure I hunt you down and make you feel the pain I feel.... The pain you've made everyone feel when you akumatized them...!" Eclipse said, the purple butterfly that was evident around her eyes, was gonna when she looked up at the dark figure on the Tower.

"I... promise you that...!" Eclipse yelled as she ripped the crescent moon from her abdomen and threw it on the ground, shattering it. Moments later, several tiny black butterflies soared out of it, but Eclipse's gaze never wavered from the tall figure on the Eiffel tower.

Ladybug immediately went into action, capturing all the small akumas in her yo yo. And with that, everything went back to normal just as quickly as it had come. Or so everyone though...

"Y/n!" Chat yelled, as he ran and caught a now passed out, no longer akumatized Y/n in his arms. "Hey! That guy that Y/n was looking at.. He's gone! Was that who I think it was?" Carapace said as he looked at Ladybug.

"Yes... It was most likely Hawkmoth" Ladybug sighed, as she gazed at Y/n with a worried expression. "Is she going to be OK? She look's pale..." Rena Rouge asked in a just as worried voice as she stared at a pale looking Y/n in Chats arms.

"I don't see why she wouldn't... But then again, no akumatized civilian has willingly de-akumatized themselves" Viperion said. Chat, however stayed silent as he gazed worriedly at Y/n who's brows furrow in her slumber.

"That's true. No akumatized villan has done that before, nor have they malfunctioning like that. Did you see how rapidly her eyes changed as she tried to fight away Hawkmoth's control? That's not normal. Maybe she was akumatized unwillingly? Because once a victim is akumatized, they don't change their course of action. They do whatever they can to get to their target, they don't hesitate to take our miraculous. Y/n, however, did. Did you see how she hesitated when she was about to grab Chat's miraculous?" Rena stated, making everyone nod in agreement.

"I'll ask Master Fu about it when I return all of your miraculous. Chat, can you take care of her?"

The alley cat who has been quietly studying his significant other's movments, nodded in response to Ladybugs question. "Alright. Then let's go get you guys us detransformed and back to normal. Thank you for your help today!" Ladybug smiled at the group of heroines in front of her.

~A few days later in Y/n's POV~

When I woke up from what I was guessing was a nap, I instantly felt someone tug me towards their chest and hug me. "Y/n... "

Its Chat.

"Chat? What happened?  Why aren't you with Ladybug" I say, not moving to hug him back, nor pull away. He pulled away to say something, but his mouth immediately dropped open as he stared into my eyes.

"Y/n... Y-Your eye... " Chat whispered, astonished. "What about my eye?" I asked with a deadpan expression on my face. "Its... Gray.... Half of it is gray..? How is that possible?  How did Hawkmoth...? "

"Hawkmoth? He was here?!" I yelped.

Chat looked pained for a moment, before he nodded. "Let me just start from the beginning.. "

"OK, so lemme get this straight. I was akumatized but I also deakumatized myself and somehow got two different eye colors due to me trying to fight that akumas? And when I saw you with Ladybug, that was just an illusion?" I question, making chat nod.

"Yes... I'm so sorry I didn't protect you. I promised time would, and I failed you. Maybe your better off with someone who can protect you-"

"Chat... You had know idea what was going to happen. It was my fault to let myself stoop that low and get akumatized for it, not yours. So Chat, can you forgive me?"

"But it wasn't-"

"Chat.... "

"Don't 'Chat' me! I should-"

"Chat!"

"Okay fine. But only if I get cuddles" Chat pouted, making me roll my eyes. "Fine, c'here"

Chat smiled as he wrapped his arms around me and layed down with me in his arms, in my bed. "Heh... I can now add another nickname to your bucket full of nicknames" Chat chuckled, running his fingers through my hair as he placed kisses upon my forehead.

"Oh yeah? What would that nickname be?"

"Cloud"

"Why that? Am I that gloomy around you" I pout, making Chat chuckled once more.

"No. Your eyes were beautiful before, but now that I look at them, your eyes remind me of gray clouds being pushed away from a beautiful e/c sky"

"Really?"

"Yeah... They're breathtakingly to be honest"

I stared into Chats electrifying green eyes a little longer, then giggle. "Dork"

"But I'm your dork"

"Hehe true... I love you, Chaton"

"I love you to, cloud. Way to much that it be considered unhealthy" Chat said in a playful tone, making me laugh a little.

"Silly kitty... "
