Backstory/how I got the inspiration: OK, so I just saw the Grammy performances  and happened to notice in the comments that Ariana (aka probably one of the most influential artists/has gotten what, 5 nominees), didn't receive a Grammy. So, probably the worst idea ever but, that got me thinking (No, what's bad is that you're thinking--).
  What if Y/n; who's a big hit pop star, who wrote multiple Big Hit Songs, were to get a ton of nominees (like Miss Grande did). However, she didn't get to take a Grammy home for all her hard work? How would a certain electrifying green-eyed boy react?

Here are some options that you can choose from:

Adrien's Reaction:

-Although he was unable to attend as your plus one due to his Father's orders, he still supported from afar by keeping the GRAMMY'S streaming on his huge TV; keeping his eyes glued to it and encouraging his followers to come support as well via social media.

-He was in awe at how stunning you were as soon as you walked that red carpet towards the building. You were practically glowing in the outfit he and your stylist picked out.

-He's that one person who's practically jumping out of his seat when the announcer starts talking about the Grammy-award winning artist

-He's also that person who is yelling 'yes' over and over again and cheering loudly due to his excitement..  (assuming you won because, like, why wouldn't you? You received like, 7 nominees) when the announcement of the winner is made.

-When done spinning around, he finally glances at his TV, expecting to see you up on the stage holding your award and smiling that cutely nervous smile of yours as you thank the crowd and start you speech

-Lets just say Adrikins is BAFFLED

-Actually, scratch that. APPALLED and offended to see a woman who was given the stage name of "Melina" in the place you were supposed to be standing

-He doesn't have anything against Melina, nor does he hate her. He was just shocked and confused as to why, and how,  she ended up beating you. THE one, and only so far, youngest and most populal pop star around at the moment

-All that music and performances, on top of school work... And this is how you're repaid for all that stress? Sure, he absolutely loved and was enraptured with watching you make those songs and helping you through all the emotions that were put into them. But that doesn't mean he's gonna absolutely love the outcome that you get unless its the one he pictured ever since the day you two started this journey almost a year ago when you guys made the albums. 

-Just as he was thinking of more ways as to why you deserve that Grammy, he was taken aback by Melina calling out Y/n's name during her small speech. Stating how she was more deserving of the award, and how her music was the reason why she was able to keep writing the music she has made today.

-Baby boy is so proud, but also worried. Especially  when the camera gets a close up of Y/n's happy smile and flailing arms as she shakes her head repeatedly. Trying to encourage Melina from afar that she deserved it.

-Adrien's heart melts at the scene in front of him, as he looks at your care free looking face. However, that doesn't stop the small, and just barley noticeable crack in your façade when the cameras off your form.

-Will happily oblige in watching rom-coms or pigging out on ice cream when you show up at his house later that night with red puffy eyes.

-He'll just bring you close, and whisper sweet nothings in your ear when your over thinking gets the better of you.

-Won't let you go anywhere alone for the next few days, even if means breaking his back trying to accompany you everywhere you go. He just wants to assure you, and himself that this is just a minor bump in the road and that you'll get through it together: no matter what.

-Cue lots more PDA than usual when walking out and about... and also expect it to later show up on the top five gossip magazine covers with nonsense captions under them.

-Will also probably, if not meaning to, get his great number of followers on social media to somehow make the lead producer of the Grammy's to change the rules to where it makes awards more fair.

Chat's Reaction:

-Chat is an entirely different story. He still can't make it, obviously, but he still helps you, along with your stylus, to get ready for the event.

-I can see him quietly, and intensely staring at the TV in your room as he gives Plagg his Camembert.

-He's absolutely blown away by the beauty you radiate as he sees you step out of your limo and on to the red carpet. He also realizes just how much the crowd and other celebrities little up as soon as they saw you.

-He sits on the squishy, f/c couch in front of the TV. Propping up one elbow on his knee as he hunches over and rests his chin on his palm.

-Lovingly smiles at the TV whenever you appear on the screen. 

-He's not too familiar with how this event works, so don't be mad at him when you ask him questions he doesn't know the answers to. Because truth be told, he's only watching it because he's your biggest supporter, just like you are his every day

-What he does know, however, is that you've worked extremely hard on your albums for the past year; and that he feels very lucky and proud that he was able to see different sides of you as you made those songs with every ounce of emotion you had. All that work will pay off tonight, and he's certain of it.

-When the announcing of the grammy winner came along, he didn't even breathe. He was probably just as anxious as you were

-"And this years grammy-award-winning-artist is.... Melina!"

-His. Heart. Dropped. Plummeting to his feet with a loud and audible 'thud'

-He forced himself to watch while he was in a dazed, upset, livid, and confused trance. Even Plagg was starting to worry as he watched Adrien's expressions rapidly change.

-"Thanks everyone, really. I couldn't have done it without the help of my family, fans, and most importantly, Y/n" Melina explained sheepishly

-"I really don't deserve this. You do. I never saw myself claiming a grammy, especially if it was you I was competing with. Truthfully, the only reason I'm able to stand up here is because of your music. It helped me in ways no artist has been able to do, ever. So, I'd like to forfeit my nominee to Y/n"

-Adrien was stunned, and so was the crowd. The camera turned and faced Y/n: who was smiling and flailing her arms, yelling and shaking her head "no, you deserve it. Take it!"

-Adrien smiled at his princess, and even started quietly clapping along with the rest of the crowd as Melina walked off stage and back to her seat. However, that didn't stop Adrien from noticing the small crack in Y/n's joyful expression

-He was still mad and confused as to how she won. Especially since he's only heard of the name Melina only a handful of times. He also looked at the nominee count and noticed the huge difference between the two.

-But he's still proud that you handled it in such a professional way: unlike what he would've done.

-He's, in a way, sorta glad he didn't go because he would've openly discussed with the announcer, and the director of this whole event, on LIVE TV, as to why you didn't win. Which would've probably embarrassed you but hey, he just wants to make sure his girl gets what she rightfully owns: that grammy award.

-But then again, if he had the chance to go, he'd go within a heartbeat so he could show the men checking Y/n out at the event, just who she belongs to. That, and who doesn't want want to be the power couple at such a major event?

-His conclusion on the Grammy's: they should be renamed the 'Scammies'

-When you stumbled back home, red, exhausted eys meeting his own; his heart skipped a beat.

-Cloved hands are immediately on your sides as he pulls you into a bone crushing hug as you silently sob.

-"C'mon purrincess, let it all out. You did so much this past year when making such a heart felt album. I'm so unbelievably proud of you," Chat states, then he pulls away and cups your cheeks with his warm, leather bound hands so that you were facing him.

-"With or without the grammy, you are, and always will be a winner in my heart. This is just a tiny set back from your goal, which means you and I can try even harder to get you that Grammy award; making more precious memories along the way that I'll forever cherish in my heart. So cheer up Purrincess! You got this, we got this"

-You smiles a little as Chat wipes wipes away and kisses her temple. Then it disappears. "What if I'm never able to do it though?"

-"Purrincess! How dare you say that!" Chat screeched, then pouts as he pinches your cheeks as punishment for your comments, making you giggle.

-"Y/n, I promise you on all my nine lives, that you will. Or I'll die trying to keep that promise. But knowing you, not even the 'Scammies' will stop you this time. Nobody will, I'll make sure of it"

-You look into his earnest green eyes, smiling to yourself as it finally hits you: Chat's never ending love for you. And your never ending love for him

-Chat smiles at you, getting lost in your twinkling e/c eyes. Then he slowly bends down, pressing a soft, but passionate kiss know your lips: forever sealing his promises to you, and your silent promises to never loose him.
