The silence felt bare, it felt all unembellished. The stillness inn the environment was unnerving.

Ananya, was done with her offerings. She had not prayed yesterday evening, asking for the forgiveness for it she kept her head bowed some minutes longer.

In the while, everyone expects the brothers left, they didn't want to intervene. The new daughter- in- law, most probably would not feel comfortable. Even the mothers, they will spend time later.
Though she knew them, the elders decided to not stay. They could meet later.

Ananya feels better after praying, a deep sense of relief filing her. Yesterday, had been hectic, she could not pray yesterday.
She could feel the presence of her husband beside her. And that of her six brother- in- laws behind herself.

She turned with the Diya in her hand, Karn takes the aarti followed by the brothers, age wise. Ananya smile at them all. Nakul and Sehdev are the last ones, and they take her blessings again too. She smiles at them and kisses their foreheads. Her eyes flicker to her husband Karn for an instance, but he is fine, smiling widely.

"Haw Bhabhi Ma, hamare saath behd bhav?" (Haw! Bhabhi Ma, partiality against us?) Duryodhana pouts. 

He looks cute, Aww.

"Idhaar aa, pagley" (Come here, idiot.) Ananya calls him. The twins and Bheema burst out laughing at what Ananya calls him.
Ignoring them Duryodhana walks to her and she kisses his head, like she did for the twins. He beams. 

Such kid like, these guys are.

"BHABHI" A scream calls and the next instant the door of our room flies open revealing Ananya's two sisters. 

Oh Lord!

"Kya Hua, Shala?" (What happened, Shala?) Ananya asks calmly. Keeping the plate with Diya back down.

"Aapne vaada Kiya tha." (You had promised.) She states.

"Haan, bahut kuch Kiya hai Maine, Kya karein uska?" (Yes, I have done many things, what should we do of it?) Ananya asks, she is still arranging the table.

"Galat baat hai, di yaar." (This is wrong, sister yaar.) Subhadra says.

"Duniya Mein bahut kuch galat hai, Bhadra." (There are many things wrong, Bhadra.) Ananya states. The brothers stifle a laugh at her answer.

 Such antics.

"Di" 

"Bhabhi" the two girls' whine.

"Kya?" (What?) she asks, suppressing her smile.

"Aapne kaha tha, aap humare saath samey bitaengi." (You had said that, you will spend time with us.) Dushala folds her hands on her chest.

"Haan kaha tha." (Yes, I had said that.)

"Toh chalo na." (So, come na) Subhadra wails.

"aisa thodi kaha tha ki aate hi karungi." (I didn't say, I will do as soon as I come here.)

"Abhi Kya karna hai aapko?" (What do you need to do right now?) Dushala enquires.

"Ma ke pass jana hai." (I need to meet mom.) Ananya answers. And the princesses' sighs.

"Theek hai, par aaj sham Mein, karoge." (Fine, but we will meet in the evening.) They ask for her promise.

"Pakka." (Promise.) Ananya answers, And the two princesses' hug their elder sister, before again rushing out of the room.

The boys wondered, what do these girls actually do?

(A/N I doubt they will like the answer 🤪 😅)

"Arya, main ma se milne ja rahin Hun." (Dear, I am going to meet mom.) Ananya informs her husband.
Karn felt something blossom in him as she called him Arya, it felt super nice. He only wanted to hear that one word.

Karn nods in understanding but before he could say anything Bheema intervened.

"Bhabhi ma, chinta maat kijiye. Hum denge Jyeshta Bhrata to saath, abhi." (Bhabhi ma, don't worry. We are going to stay with elder brother.) He smiles while the others nod in agreement.

Karn wasn't sure whether to be happy or worried. Though the smiles on their faces was showing their happiness, there was a certain glint in their eyes.

"Isi baat ki toh chinta hai, Bheema." (That is why I am worrying, Bheema.) Ananya replies.

And Karn was wondering, how he came across this women, how did she agree to marry him? She is so nice.
Karn smiled at his wife. Ananya winked at him before walking out.
