Webtoon Recommendations
Livy's Webtoon Recommendations.
This is actually my first time writing a recommendation article, so I'm not so sure how to go about this. Where do I start, and how do I phrase myself? Anyhow, that's not important. I just lost myself for a bit right there and burdened you with my issues. I'm sorry I'm an over sharer. I know it sucks... I should stop.
What's the purpose of this article again? I got so caught up in my own issues that I circled out of topic and found myself saying things that you probably don't care about. It's a thing I do and... okay, pause. I nearly did it again.
Anyway, as I was saying before I let myself get distracted, this article is on Webtoon Recommendations. It's a mess, but bless this mess, cause hopefully you'll find some gems amongst these.
1. Dark Mortal-Paranormal/Drama/Psychological
Okay, this one had me crying in the first chapter. I think this is what they'd call an emotional rollercoaster. It's sad, cute and heart-warming. And it's not too long, with about 80 chapters. It's a great comic to binge. If you're a fan of tear-jerkers, this is a must-read
2. Villain to Kill- Superhero/Action
It's a new Webtoon, but it's promising. It's action packed and has an interesting story line. If you're a fan of villains, this is a must-read. If you're a binge reader, just add this to your list and wait for the chapters to pile up. I guarantee you ... okay, maybe not guarantee, but you get what I mean. This one feels like it's going to be great
3. Teenage Mercenary-Action
This is also new to Webtoon, and it's one of my favourites. The fight scenes have adrenaline coursing through my veins and my heart races. It literally does, I mean it's that good. If you're a fan of OP MCs, this is a must-read. Add it to your list. You must, I reiterate, you must.
4. Not Even Bones-Paranormal/Psychological
I don't quite know how to describe this one. It's good though, it was quite different from what I usually read, but it was a good kind of different. It's definitely one of those Webtoons that makes you question your scope of morality, but it's good, in a different kind of way. Definitely was a nudge out of my comfort zone, but that's exactly why you should check it out.
5. Jungle Juice-Superhero/Action
Okay, I love this one. I never thought bugs were interesting till I read Jungle Juice. Etymology, but make it interesting. Again if you love Heroes this is something you could try out, it's definitely different from your usual capes and spandex, but it's worth it. Might I add that the art is beautiful, oh gosh it really is.
6. Raven Saga-Fantasy
It's cute. Really cute. The art is gorgeous too. It's also one of the new editions, well not very new, but it only has a couple of chapters up. The story line has yet to pick up, but it's promising, I hope it lives up to my expectations at least. It's really a cute take in fairy tales and magic, so if you're into those, this is definitely something to check out.
7. The Strongest Florist-Action/Video Game/Fantasy/Comedy
It's funny. I mean, it's definitely a turn around from the norm in its genre, and I mean this in a good way. I love this manhwa and the main character has his charm. If you're gunning for a few laughs and a plot that's not too complicated, this one's for you
8. That smile is a trap-Teen/Comedy
This one is so cute. I mean, it can't even fully describe how cute this Webtoon is. The art is pretty, too. It definitely makes a great light read. It's not intense and the characters are all so precious, well to me at least.
So that's all I have for today. I certainly have a lot more recommendations, but I just picked out my most recent gems, hopefully you'll find some that suits your taste.
