I open a door. The others seem to hide behind me seeing as I had the only weapon. It is terrifying here. I turn. They could be anywhere. I haven't seen one alive and moving, and frankly I don't want to see one of those Xem things. I hear the place rumbling or shaking. It's got me thinking.

"Anybody know where we are in space?" I ask.

"How are we supposed to know that? We don't even know who we are." She says.

"Why do you ask?" He asks.

"Do you feel the shaking?" I ask.

"The shaking?" She looks up at me.

I nod.

"Yes. It feels like this whole place is sinking." He comments.

"Sinking into what?" I ask.

I hear something. We turn. My heart freezes up. There's something there. I look up and my eyes widen. There's blood. There are bodies encased in slime. My heart sinks. I feel my stomach burst. It's worse than what he had seen previously. She screams. He screams. 

"Shhh." I hiss.

"But there are bodies!" She yells.

"They look dead." I say.

"But it was those things!" She yelled.

"And I don't want to run into those things." I say.

"Help..." A voice says.

I turn. I see one of them crawling towards us. He's covered in blood. I draw back. She runs forward. I look around. I ignite the flashlight. Yeah... I'm not like this. I keep hearing and sensing movements.

"Get back." I say to her.

"What? But we have to help him." She says.

I grab her arm.

"Run..." He mutters.

Something shoots out from the shadows. A tail like a sword. It goes right through his head. She and he both scream. I almost do. I jump back with her. It starts moving into the light. Whoa... it's a lot bigger than I thought it would be.

"Run!" I yell.
