I - II

The Captain had paid no mind to the fact a few of the Lotus Eaters were following them blabbering about nonsense to themselves, he paid mind to Atlas happily walking alongside the small creatures but mainly focused straight ahead. The Captain just kept walking in a straight line, the ship standing tall in front of him as warm sand hit his feet. But time slowed, drastically. The cyanette immediately caught on to what this was and paused in his tracks, eyes glancing around as everything stilled around him.

"Have you forgotten the lessons I taught you?" The familiar said from behind, voice harsh with disappointment. The Captain's eyes locked on their pure gold colour ones, white pupils staring into his soul. Their honey-blonde hair was cut short at the neck, though small braids were made with the strands and tucked into the blonde locks the colour contrasting with their tanned skin. Two, long golden antlers protruding from his skull glinted softly in the light, no strand of hair messily lay on top, no cut or scrap dented the smooth and perfect surface. Large white wings tucked on his back, held tight together by will as the breeze swayed the angelic feathers. A white chiton down to his knees, the upper left of it having a smoothened yellow cloth, held on by a golden belt, leaf designs all around until the centre of it, where a large owl was displayed, wings spread wide. Golden shin and arm guards on their arms, carved beautifully with the same owl as the belt portrayed, just with antlers in the background. Golden shoulder pads shone in the rays of the sun, scratches and scrapes across the surface of it, defying the usual flawless gold presented elsewhere.

"Aeor!" The Captain said, a nervous edge was present in his voice as he stared up at his mentor who stared coldly back down at him.

"Have you forgotten to turn off your heart? This is not you." Aeor stated simply, walking around the cyanette like a shark circling its prey. The Captain held his composure as much as he could against the golden-haired man.
"I see you changing from how I've designed you." Aeor said, before stopping in front of the Captain and bending down to his height. His cold, golden eyes staring into sapphire
"Have you forgotten your purpose? Let me remind you..." The golden-haired man said, grasping the cyanette's chin with their hand. Sharp golden nails digging into his skin causing him to try and pull away. But he was forced to turn around and shoved to the floor. He scowled at the action but got back to his feet, the surrounds changed. A taiga forest surrounding them, trees swaying softly in the wind. A clearing in the centre, where a giant forest hog stood frozen in time. Aeor walked in front of the Captain, obscuring the view he had on the large boar.
"God of wisdom, master of light. My life has one mission; create the greatest warrior." Aeor said, before moving out of the way, the scene suddenly coming to life. The giant hog shook its head, letting out a snort at something in the distance.
"I had a challenge, a test of skill. A magic boar only the best could kill." The golden-haired God said, standing behind the Captain, hands placed on his shoulders as his nails slightly dug in.
"One day a boy came for the thrill. A boy whose mind rivalled the boar's own will." Aeor said as a young boy stood in the distance. A simple white toga on his body, sapphire eyes focused on the hog as he clutched a spear tightly in hand, sandals like the Captain's own. Blonde hair fading into black in a smooth transition, halfway down his neck and messily covering a golden laurel that sat on his head. A grin slipped onto his face.

"Let's go!" The young boy said, raising the spear as he charged into a fight with the boar, spear raised as he charged head first into a fight with the giant hog.

"Maybe one day he'll follow me. And we'll make a greater tomorrow, then they'll see I know he'll change the world. Maybe one day I'll reach him and we can build his skills as I teach him. If there's a problem, he'll have the answer. Because he is a warrior of the mind." Aeor said, before cover the Captain's eyes. He pulled the hand away and the scene changed once more, the golden-haired God no longer by his side. The young boy stood in the forest, trees rustling softly as he looked around with a suspicious glare.

"Show yourself. I know you're watching me, show yourself." The young boy said, turning around on his heel. His sandals digging into the solid diet beneath him as tension grew in his shoulders.
"...I can see you." The boy said, glancing around in front of him with a sharp glare.

"How can you see through my spell?" Aeor called through, causing the young boy to spin to the God that stood tall behind him. The young boy blinked in shock but shook off his surprise quickly as a smirk pulled up on his lips.

"Haha! I was lying and you fell for my bluff!" The young boy said, giving a sly chuckle of deviousness. Much to amusement the golden-antlered God, who smiled softly. A baby blue cloak covering his body, the hood over his head.

"Well done, enlighten me, what's your name?" Aeor asked, cloak flowing behind him as he walked towards the younger one who followed his every move with a keen eye.

"You first, and maybe I'll do the same." The young boy responded, arms crossing over his broad chest as a playfully devilish grin stayed on his face.

"Nice try, but two can play this game." The golden-haired god said, walking in circles around the shorter one the cloak gently brushing against the floor as they moved.

"Nah, don't be modest. I know you're a god. So let's be honest - you are Aeor! Badass in the arena, unmatched, witty, and king of the best strategies we've seen!" The young boy, playfully fighting with the air before straightening himself with a small cough.

"If you're looking for a mentor, I'll make sure your time's well spent." Aeor said, placing his hands on the younger mans shoulders as he stood behind the man.

"Sounds like a plan! Goddess and man. Bestest of friends!" The young boy said, grinning up at Aeor, offering a hand out for a high-five from the god expectantly.

"We'll see where it ends." The golden-haired god said, a small smile on his face. Walking away from the young boy stood without responding to the high-five.

"Okay..." The young boy muttered, dropping his hand back to his side. The world stilled once more, the form of the boy disappearing along with the Gods form. The Captain looked around frantically.

"We are the warriors of the mind." Aeor's voice said, splitting through the world. And as the Captain blinked, the world switched to darkness with the tall, golden god standing in front of him.
"I still intend to make sure you don't fall behind. Don't forget that you're a warrior of a very special kind. You are a warrior of the mind." The golden-haired god said, bending down in front of the Captain with his hands gripped on the man's shoulders.
"Don't disappoint me." The god said lowly before the world faded back to the present. The Captain blinked and shook it off, feeling Atlas's hand on his shoulder. The cyanette offered a short and small smile, brushing the other off his shoulder politely and getting back onto the boat. The words Aeor had said to him echoed in his head as he stepped back onto the wooden flooring.
