tonight was my first show of the entire tour. i was feeling a bit of everything, nervous, excited, anxious you name it. daisy was on the stage singing her little heart out, opening. my makeup artist was putting finishing touches onto my look, stylists were ensuring that every piece of clothing fit perfectly, stage directions were focused on the stage. i took a deep breath while concentrating on daisy's beautiful yet muffled voice to calm my nerves.

the crowd's cheers filled my ears as i backstage, listening to daisy's performance. the sound of applause and singing from the audience could be heard even from back here, and the energy was infectious.

i could feel my heart start to race as i knew my time to go on stage was coming soon. i took another deep breath and looked at my reflection in the mirror, taking in my outfit and makeup. "looks amazing you guys." i said to my team who had spent so long perfecting my look tonight.

"you look absolutely stunning," my makeup artist, mario, said, taking a step back to admire his work. the rest of my team, including stylists and personal assistants, nodded in agreement. they had all worked so hard to make sure i looked flawless, and they had definitely delivered.

"well, i promise i wouldn't look this good without you guys." i admitted as i studied myself in awe.

my team chuckled, flattered by the compliment. "we just helped enhance what was already there," one of the stylists said.

just then, one of the stage directors poked their head backstage, giving me a nod. "you're on in five," they informed me.

i nodded and made my way to where i'd enter. i could feel my heart pounding as i waited to make my entrance. from where i was standing, i could hear the applause from the audience growing louder. i knew that meant daisy's performance was nearing its end.

i took another deep breath and closed my eyes, mentally preparing myself for the moment i'd step onto that stage. the applause and cheers from the crowd became deafening as i stepped out, strutting onto the stage and taking my place in the center. the lights were bright and the energy was electric. i could feel the adrenaline pumping through my veins.

i smiled and waved to the audience, the butterflies in my stomach flapping furiously. but the moment i started singing, all nervousness faded away. i was in the zone, performing like it was second nature.
