Caroline quickly grabbed her stuff from the armory, when she came across a special weapon. She knew that it was somewhere in HQ but didn't know where. Right there, in front of her, was her Peggy special gun that she took on her very first mission. She remembered how she would search for it constantly and not being able to find, even Caroline thought it was lost.

Caroline picked it up, tracing the outline of the gun. She put it on her belt, smiling to herself and knowing that Peggy's special weapon would bring luck to her.

"Are you ready?" Steve's voice echoed, making Caroline turn around.

"For the biggest battle yet?" Caroline emphasized, "How can I be ready?"

"Just be careful," Steve said

"That's what you said to me on our first mission together." Caroline smile placing her hands on Steve's chest.

Steve took the opportunity to place his lips against Caroline's. He grabbed her tight and moved his hands into her hair, before pulling away.

"Promise me, you'll be careful." Steve looked directly into her eyes

"I promise."

Caroline linked her hands with Steve's until he stopped in his tracks.

"I have a question to ask you when we come back."

"Why can't you ask me now?" Caroline wondered

"Because I want it to be perfect."

Ultron's appeared everywhere. Out of the ground, out of the water: anyplace you can think of. Clint and Caroline both jumped into action as they had begun attacking the smaller Ultron's, protecting the people who were running in fear. Caroline shot bullet after bullet, obliterating them with it's hit. Clint launched arrow after arrow, taking them out one at a time. Caroline glanced over to Steve, who was on the bridge, getting attacked by an Ultron, but taking them out easily and jumping back onto his feet.

"Get off the bridge!" Wanda ordered as she pushed through her people, Caroline looking at Wanda throwing up a force field with her powers.

One of the Ultron's then shoot the force field, hitting Wanda square in the chest, knocking her to the ground. Caroline rushes over to Wanda, making sure she was all right and nodding in return. Caroline clenches her jaw, before disappearing.

The vampire appeared on the other side of Ultron's using her hands to snapping the metal right off. She glanced over at Wanda and giving her a smile before both ladies jumped back into action to help Clint take on his batch of Ultrons.

On the streets of Sokovia, all of the Avengers were on the move to take out as many of the Ultrons as they could. Steve was taking out all of the Ultrons on the bridge, throwing his shield at them, punching them, and kicking them as well.

All of a sudden, cracks in the road start to appear as the city starts to rise. All of the Avengers were caught off guard. Clint and Caroline watch as the whole thing goes down. Steve fighting the one last Ultron, before glancing over the bridge to see the other half collapse to the ground.

Steve's fighting against the Ultrons, when one of them flies up the bridge and throwing him against a car.

"Cap, you got incoming." Stark informs him as Steve rolls his eyes

"Incoming already cam in." Steve groans. "Stark, you worry about bringing the city back down safely. The rest of us have one job, tear these things apart. You get hurt, hurt them back. You get killed, walk it off."

Caroline grunts as she is slammed on the ground by an Ultron. The robot throws attacks at her, dodging the first two, but then getting hit in the jaw. Letting out a hiss, before her vampire senses tune in, punching the robot in the chest, getting it off of her by shooting at it. She jumps to her feet, glancing at everything around her, watching at everything go down.

Behind her, an Ultron makes it's way to her and stabs her straight through the stomach. A scream escapes and a few seconds later, Steve hits the robot with his shield and taking out the others as well. Caroline stumbles to a wall, pulling out the object itself, as she pants trying to concentrate on something else. Her scream erupted as the object was fully out.

"I'm all right." She pants, "I'm healing."

He looks at the wound itself quickly disappearing from her skin

"I don't play on dying today," Caroline says nodding at her boyfriend before going to kick some metal ass together.

"Good, I have too much death on my hands. I can't lose you too, sis." Kiara said as her staff tore through an Ultron bringing it to its destruction.

"The next wave is going to hit any minute." Steve says through the comms. "What do you got, Stark?"

"Nothing great. Maybe a way to blow up the city. That'll keep it from impacting the surface , if you guys can clear it."

"I asked for a solution, not an escape plan." Steve states

"Impact radius is getting bigger every second. We're gonna have to make a choice."

"cap, these people are going nowhere." Natasha says to him. "If Stark finds a way to blow this rock.."

"Not till everyone's safe." Steve cuts her off

"Everyone up here versus everyone down there? There's no math there." Natasha says to him

"I'm not leaving this rock with one civilian on it." Steve snaps at her.

"She didn't say we should leave. There's worse ways to go. Where else am I gonna get a view like this?" Caroline appeared next to them

"Glad you like the view, Kingsley. It's about to get better." The sound of Fury's voice enters the air. The Heli- Carrier appears in the air

"Nice, right? Pulled her out of mothballs with a couple of old friends. She's dusty, but she'll do."

"Fury, you son of bitch." Steve swears

"Oh, you kiss your mother with that mouth?" Fury asked him, making both Caroline and Steve smile.

"Let's load them up," Steve orders and they all run back towards the market, where the citizens were taken for their protection.

"I got about fifty to one hundred more coming in after this group."

"Avengers, time to work for a living."

All of the Avengers made their way to the church.

"Romanoff. You and Banner better not be playing 'hide the zucchini'" Stark said to the assassin

"Relax, shellhead." Natasha says to him, "Not all of us can fly." A few seconds later, the assassin appeared in the church, after crashing into the fence. "What's the drill?"

"This is the drill." Stark states as he points to the core. "If Ultron gets a hand on the core, we lose."

"Is that the best you can do?" Thor yells to Ultron, raising his hand and a whole bunch of Ultrons come running, flying, towards the church.

"This is the best I can do," Ultron states, holding his hands up in the air. "This is exactly what I wanted. All of you against all of me. How can you possibly hope to stop me?"

"Well, like the old man said.." Stark states, before glancing to Steve, "..Together."

After the Hulk lets out a huge roar, the Ultrons sprint towards the Avengers. They all started to fight back against the robots, Natasha and Clint working together, while Steve and Caroline fought against the robots taking them on as a couple.

"I'm seriously going to need a break after this." Caroline said punching one of the robots out of her way.

Thor, Tony, and Vision attack Ultron all together but once they take away their abilities off of Ultron, the robot stands up, half body ruined. "You know with the benefits of hindsight.." But before Ultron could finish, Hulk appeared slamming his fist into him. He turns around to face the Avengers, he roars, scaring them off.

"They'll try to leave the city." Thor states

"We can't leave them, not even one." Stark says. "Rhodey."

"We gotta move out." Steve states as all of the Avengers glance over to him. "Even I can tell the air is getting thin. You guys get to the boats. I'll sweep for stranglers. Be right behind you."

"What about the core?" Caroline asked

"I'll protect it." Wanda states and Clint glances at her, "It's my job."

"Nat. This way." Clint says as the two of them leave one way, and Steve the other. Caroline goes ater Steve, thinking he shouldn't be alone, "Wait up,"

"Care, you should go back to the boats. It'll get dangerous."

"I've been in dangerous spots before," Caroline held her foot down with Steve finally giving in.

Caroline walked in front of Steve, sensing the movements of the robots with her supernatural hearing. Caroline stopped for a minute as she saw Vision swopping down and taking out a bunch of Ultrons.

Steve looks at Caroline from afar, making his way over to her but catches something out of the corner of his eye. An Ultron starts making his way over to her, as Steve froze and his eyes widen in fear, "Caroline!" Steve yells but Caroline turns around, the Ultron slams a piece of wooden stake through her chest as she gasps. Steve grabs his shield and throws it at Ultron, hitting it in the head, making it fall.

Caroline dropped to her knees and onto her stomach, finding it harder to breath with every passing moment. Steve was at her side in seconds, he examined the veins appearing on her skin, he quickly took the stake out, yet her shirt was still full of blood, he needed to move.

"Hang on Care, I'm going to lift you."

"Steve, you know what's going to happen.... we only have minutes left." she groaned wincing at the slightest movement, clenching her teeth as hard as she could to prevent herself from screaming.

"You're not going to die, you hear me? I won't let you. I'm not going to say goodbye. I won't." His words sounded distant, with Caroline's body becoming heavier and colder, and her skin loosing all of its light.

"Steve.. shouldn't this hurt?"

"Don't do this Care. Don't you fucking dare." Steve was in full sprint, passing the team, quickly falling into line behind him.

Steve secured a strap over her to keep her in place as the jet moved, glancing at the team who held the same worried eyes as him. He looked down at her again, she was much paler with her eyes closed: he touched her cheek which was cold against hi warm touch. Her chest was barely moving with her breaths as he shifted into a full panic.

"Tony! If you don't move faster I'll kill you myself!"
