005. | ❛ I can't be fixed. ❜

The entire team geared up and entered the quinjet as they all flew to Wakanada. Getting ready to fight, and to find out what Ultron was up to.

"Natasha, Clint, Caroline, you hide on the sides. You'll keep an eye on the twins. Thor, Tony, Kiara, nd I will be there and question to why Ultron wants the vibranium." Steve explained the plan as they all nodded. Clint landed the ship as they all went to where they were told to go.

"When I give the word, you attack." Steve whispered into everyone's earpiece, as they all sneaked in, hearing Ultron talking to some random guy.

"I don't understand. Don't compare me to Stark! It's a thing with me. Stark is, he's a sickness!" Ultron yells, angrily until Steve, Tony, Kiara, and Thor walked in.

"Ahh, Junior. You're gonna break your old man's heart." Tony spoke, as he landed on his two feet.

"If I have to." Ultron replies, smirking at the end with the twins at his sides.

"You don't have to break anything." Tony states

"Clearly you've never made an omelet." Ultron joked. While the other Avengers slowly sneaked their ways towards them.

"He beat me by one second," Tony says, to Thor and Steve but they didn't understand.

"Ah, this is funny, Mr. Stark. It's what, comfortable?" Ultron laughs, "Like old times?''

"This was never my life." Tony says

"You two can still walk away from this," Steve speaks to the twins, as the girl laughs.

"Oh we will," Wanda replies, smiling

"I know you've suffered, trust me my girlfriend goes through the same-" Steve continues but Ultron cuts him off.

"Blah! Heh, heh, Captain America. Boyfriend. God's righteous man, pretending you could live without war. I can't physically throw up in my mouth, but... If you believe in peace, then let us keep it." Ultron spat

"I think you're confusing peace with quiet," Steve corrects

"Yuh- huh. What's the vibranium for?" Tony asked Ultron, who just smirked once more.

"I'm glad you asked that, because I wanted to take this time to explain my evil plan...!" He replies, attacking Tony while the twins attacking the others.

Then, the other one who worked there, started to attack the Avengers as well. The others soon joined, attacking the workers. Clint started shooting his arrows, Caroline either feeding or ripping their hearts out. Natasha used her Black Widow moves, Thor throwing his hammer everywhere, Steve throwing his shield as well, while Tony shooting blast from his hand towards Ultron. Kiara lunged towards the twins who seem to make their escape from her rather quickly.

"It's time for some mind games." Ultron says to Wanda, from a different robot body. She nods and goes to use her mind manipulation on the Avengers.

Kiara catches a glimpse of red and sees the Enhanced that they were suppose to control. She runs up the stairs where she is face to face with the woman. Kiara gets her staff out and lets it fall open before attacking forwards, although she wasn't the one to give the blow but receive it from a red glow throwing her back and stay in a dazed motion. Wanda saw the resemblance of her in the blonde a flight down and set out to conquer her next victim.

Caroline wiped the blood from her lips as she rose to her heart, ripping the man's heart out. The man went down as Caroline looked to see the woman she saw back in Sokovia, staring right at her.

"You can stop, I know what you're going through. Just please-" Caroline tried to reason with her. That was until a red energy threw her against the wall causing Caroline to be unable to move

"Bitch!"

Wanda smiled at Caroline as she struggled. Her eyes went red and she used her powers to trace into her head. Caroline winced as she closed her eyes as everything went black.

VISION

Caroline is still tied to a chair. She looks around and notices she's back in her cell when she was captured by Hydra. She struggles with the hand restraints but they don't give. She hears a noise which makes her ears hurt since the heighten earring is messing with her.

"Daddy, are you there? Why won't you talk to me? Dad!" Caroline cried out to her father.

Smoke enters the cellar through vents. Caroline's dad opens the door and enters.

"Shhh. I'm so sorry this happened to you."

"Dad..."

"I need an answer. What is SHIELD planning against us?"

"Just let me go."

"Sweetheart, please, just answer me. Then we'll get on with it."

"Is that all you want to know?"

"That's all I want to know."

"They were planning on smoking the Red Skull out. They wanted to take them out once and for all."

"Interesting."

"What are you doing? What are you doing?" She asked him as he got up off the floor.

"Your ancestors built this place. People figured it was for unruly prisoners at the jailhouse, but...They had something else in mind. Vervain in the ventilation system to keep their subject weak. Reinforced steel containment chair. And that."

He exits the cellar.

"What are you doing?"

He comes back with a blood bag and puts it in front of her. She vamps out. He takes the blood bag back.

"Blood controls you, sweetheart. This is how I'm going to fix you."

"What?"

He walks to and pulls on a chain, rotating slats on the window above and behind her which bathe Caroline in sunlight. Caroline screams and burns.

The window slats open again to let in the sun. Caroline again burns in the sun. She cries.

"No! Please! Stop! Please stop! Please!"

Her father releases the chain, closing the slats and the cellar goes dim.

"I won't hurt anyone, I swear. Dad, I swear. I can handle the urges. I can!"

"If you could handle it, this wouldn't happen."

He puts a blood bag in front of her. Veins appear under her eyes.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry."

"I'm conditioning you to associate vampirism with pain, in time, the thought of human blood will make you repress your vampire instincts completely."

"That's impossible. Daddy, you can't change who I am."

"Yes, I can."

"No."

"You remember this feeling?"

"No! No! No! No, no!"

He pulls on the chain again to let in the sun. Her skin burns and she screams.

The cellar is dark. Caroline has burns marks on her skin and her head is bowed. Bill is sitting against a wall.

"Dad, I'm okay. I've learned to adapt. I don't need to be fixed. I can't be fixed."

Bill gets up and walks to her,"I've always taught you to try your best. I need you to try your best now."

He crouches down next to her and puts a blood bag in front of her. She doesn't vamp out.

"There, see? You're doing it."

Caroline raises her head with tears in her eyes. She doesn't look at Bill.

"I can't."

"Yes, you can. Fight the urge."

"Daddy, I'm starving."

"I know you are, Care. Try."

"Why? You know that this isn't going to work."

"It has to work. It's the only option."

"Why are you trying to fix me?"

"So I don't have to kill you!" She turns her head to face him and veins appear under her eyes.

"Daddy, I'm sorry." He raises his head.

"The sun's gone down. We'll try again tomorrow."
