the sallie houseˎˊ˗
s m u t.
you're another ghost hunter, who just so happened to run into the ghoul boys at the sallie house. you don't believe in ghosts or demons a bit.
position: believer/skeptic
I walked up to the infamous Sallie House, my camera-man, for once, absent, for I had a camera on me, and that was it. I strode up the front steps, and to my surprise, I had found the door to the house slightly open, and voices were streaming out from inside.
I arched an eyebrow, confused at the voices. I thought I would be the only one were today at the Sallie House, but okay. The two male voices from inside grew clearer as I stepped in, and I silently closed the door behind me, the voices fading away with the resounding click.
"Holy shit, Shane, you heard that, right?"
"Yes, Ryan, it was probably the door closing properly. Stop being a baby."
"bUt WhY dId tHe DoOr ClOsE, sHanE?" (what ryan sounds like panicking)
" *sigh* shut up, ryan."
I tiptoed towards the main room, quickly recognizing the voices. It was Shane and Ryan from Buzzfeed Unsolved, which I watched in my spare time. It was ridiculously good, and I had developed a liiiiiitle bit of a crush on Shane, as I didn't give a shit for the supernatural, but the reporting job gave a lot.
I was almost to the opening of the living room, when a familiar face popped out, aiming a...water gun? At my face. I yelped, and put my hands up.
"Ryan Bergara, put the holy water pistol down!"
I hear a voice command from behind him, and the ever familiar, long-limbed male strode out from the shadows, placing a comforting hand on my shoulder. "Y/N! I remember you from two years ago!"
A flicker of remembrance glowed inside me, as I fondly remembered the first meeting of the two of us. It was at the Buzzfeed headquarters, and it only lasted ten minutes, but that meeting had the two of us incessantly making fun of the other online, but never meeting in person again.
I had developed feelings for Shane during that time, but I hoped it was mutual.
I shook my head to clear my thoughts, and smiled at the two of them. Their camera-man, Adam, sat in a chair behind them, looking through old footage. He looked up and waved at me, and I returned the gesture. I glanced at Ryan. "I thought I was filming here tonight!" Ryan shook his head.
"Look, I know you're filming for Supernatural Reality, but we're here for Unsolved. We could do a type of collaboration episode!"
I shrugged. What could be the worst thing that would happen?
-after the whole episode's spooky stuff is over-
Everything. Literally everything could happen. The flashlight, and everything, oh my god. I was scared out of my wits. And of course, these idiots decided: "hey, why not stay here for the night? What's the bad side?"
So, now, I was trying to stay alive and fall asleep in the living room, while Ryan and our camera-man were in the other room. The other thing?
I was in the living room with Shane Madej.
This long limbed fucker, who taunted the damn demon that lived here, was who I had to sleep next to tonight. I usually didn't mind staying the night at ghost houses, but there was real evidence here.
We set up our sleeping bags, and rolled out the cameras into position, for filming anything during the night. I found it pretty funny that both me and Shane were skeptics, so I had a feeling that we would get a little bit of sleep tonight.
But I still found myself looking around warily, questioning the existence of the demon while also being terrified. I laid down in my purple sleeping bag, sighing as I glanced at Shane. He was looking at his phone, and I noticed him giving me slight glanced, and I moved my sleeping bag closer to his until it was right next to his.
Shane smiled at me and put his phone down. "What's wrong, Y/n, scared?" I sighed and pulled the covers up to my shoulders. "Shut up, long-legs." He laughed, and laid down in his sleeping bag, facing me as I turned towards him.
"It's fine y/n, i'm here to protect you." I rolled my eyes, but blushed a light pink. "I'm sure you are, Shane." Long after Shane's light snores filled the room, I managed to drift off.
-one hour after both you and Shane fell asleep-
A loud crash in the next room over startled me awake, making me leap backwards into Shane's now-awake figure, and slam into his side. I winced, and huddled back into my blankets while looking at Shane. "Explain that, Shane." He looked at me, and for once I spotted a mix of fear and questioning in his eyes.
Another loud corresponding crash rang out, causing me to yelp quietly, diving out of my blankets and into Shane's, huddling closer to Shane's chest, clutching his shirt. I buried my face in his shirt, shaking all over, and relaxed slightly when I felt Shane's arms curl around me protectively, pulling me closer. I took a few deep breaths, smiling as Shane's scent filled my nose, carrying layers of cinnamon and pine.
His right hand rubbed my back soothingly, and his left hand held me close. I heard him call out. "Ryan, what happened? Adam, you guys okay?" I heard Adam's light laugh-laced voice call to us. "We're fine here, Shane! Ryan rolled over in his panic and knocked a lamp off of the dresser." I exhaled, smiling through my fear. Damn Ryan.
I realized where I was just then. I was clutching Shane's shirt, curled up tightly against him and I had my face pressed against his chest. His hands were firmly pressed against me, and his left hand gently rubbed my back.
I yelped quietly and tried to jump back a bit, but Shane held me in place carefully. I looked up, moving myself upwards a bit, my lips a breath and a world's distance away from Shane's. Shane made the first move, carefully moving towards me and pressing his lips against mine. I melted into it, and slowly placed my hands against Shane's chest, letting him take control.
Shane's hands wandered lower, and firmly pushed me closer to him. My hands slowly traveled upwards, tracing slow trails along his shirt. I clasped my hands behind his neck, and deepened the kiss. I let a little groan out into it, intertwining my legs with Shane's limber ones.
Shane carefully broke the kiss, leaving me sighing happily. I looked into Shane's eyes, locking his gaze. He softly trailed his fingers down the back of my shirt, carefully slipping his hands up the back of my shirt. I yelped slowly, his lithe fingers tracing over the soft skin of my back. I met our lips once again, pushing his face closer to mine gently, tugging at his soft brown locks.
We stayed like that for a long time, until a loud yelp and another crash stunned us both, causing us to leap apart. I looked above us, and noticed Ryan standing above Shane and I. I blushed ruby red, thanking all the gods for the room being pitch black. Ryan made another laugh-(wheeze) sound.
"Oh my god, you two, seriously? You two are the only ones who could make out in a house with demons in it." I sighed, placing an arm around Shane's shoulders. "Ryan, do you not want us to make out? Or do you just not approve of the location?" Ryan's face flushed. "N-No, I mean you two can be together, but I mean...really?"
I rolled my eyes, and placed another kiss on Shane's cheek. Shane turned a light pink, smiling. "Ryan, go back to sleep. We won't make out, okay?" Ryan turned away, mumbling something under his breath. Shane looked at me, and I wrapped my arms around him, falling into a light slumber as Shane safely wrapped his arms around me, cuddling me in his warm embrace.
