♡ The streets of Yokocho were warm, With the strong heat blazing below from the sun above the world and the gentle and cold breeze passing by. The skies were mostly clear, The bright blue colour of the sky with a small mix of pink bleeding in into the sky mashing together with a watercolour affect. The white clouds that scattered throughout the sky leaving quite big distances; As if avoiding one another, Were quite small and fluffy seeming.. They looked comfortable from below, Like one of the softest pillows one could lay their head upon.

Walking down a grey pavement was a girl around 5'2 (157cm), Her hair was a shade of pink; Coral to be exact, The colour lightened up as she shifted down the street further and got more under the sun's gaze. The locks of her hair waving around within the air as a small hit of cold breeze cooled her off. The girl's blue eyes shifted their gaze from in front to the floor below as she took her brown bookbag and hovered it over her head; As if to save her from the head and light.

"Arrghh! Stupid school, And Ren left me again!!" she whined with a short groan, One of her hands moving from the bag above her head to the grey blazer around her waist; The blazer being something that only made were much more stuffy and was taken off the moment she stepped out the house.

The girl continued to mumble under her breath about this 'Ren' guy ditching her and leaving her to fend on her own against the heat while she walked her way to school.

She sighed as she paused and squinted her eyes for a moment at the streets around her before nodding slightly to herself and turning, Luckily for once the coral haired girl managed to figure out the way to school.. She was getting better at her directions! And she bet Ren would be proud that she made it to school on time and by herself for once.

Unknowingly for her however, A small trick was to come.

"DAMN IT!!" She stopped her foot slightly to the ground and frowned instantly, Her shoulders slouched down as she mumbled to herself, Her blue eyes grazed around the place for somebody to ask for directions but came across nobody.. It was, Oddly quiet.. "..mhh.. Well i'm sure that i'll come across somebody! Stay positive, Sayori." The girl, Now known to be 'Sayori' gave herself a short pep talk before turning slightly for something to catch her eyes.

And something it was, A flash of pink in the corner of her eyes had managed to catch her attention. Shifting her eyes over to the left she noticed the flash of light came from an alleyway... 'Maybe i should call Ren-' she pondered, Pursing her lips as her hand inched to her bag once again to grab her phone; Only to pause when a sudden gush of.. something came towards her from the place she had seen the light.. It was sort of like the ring of wind after an explosion only, Instead of it being actual wind it was.. Glitches?

Sayori wasn't sure how else to explain it, One the glitching gush of air hit her she felt weird.. Like something in her changed yet she couldn't figure out what exactly.

"..O-on second thought, Maybe i should check it out myself?" She wondered out loud, A strange feeling creeping into her mind as she felt herself drone out as her feet mindlessly moved towards the alleyway. Sayori wasn't sure why she was walking there rather than calling Ren for help but.. She just felt like someone needed her help, Someone was....

..Here.. Nobody was around with them, Light was all there was in their view. A bright and honestly quite fucking painful light. They felt as if they were floating in air, Their stomach held the feeling one gets when driving super fast over a small bump or the ride of a drop tower begins to pull you up. It was nice yet uneasy.

So this is it... This is how i die?

It was hard not to think on the thought, They blinked slowly as their (e/c) eyes shifted from places to place in search for something out there.. Anything. What happened again? Ah, Right.. They were replaying their childhood Doki Doki Literature Club, Before.. oh, Yes, That's right.. The strange message boxes, The more they pondered on the thought back it seemed like the thing was more than just a program like [Y/n] wanted it to be.

꒰ 𝑻𝑯𝑨𝑻'𝑺 𝑹𝑰𝑮𝑯𝑻! ꒱

A familiar box appeared right in front of their face making them scream and throw a fist to it, Successfully punching the box away from them as they groaned with a wince. Taking their hand back then kissing their knuckles, 'That was surprisingly painful!' their lips curled down into a frown.

"What.." They began, Pausing as they shifted their gaze up towards the pink coloured box with a bubbly white outline and narrowing their eyes. "WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON!!?! WHO-- WHAT ARE YOU!? WHERE AM I? WH-" They started yelling out a string of questions worriedly before suddenly their mouth just disappeared.

They stared in horror as their hands moved to the bare skin, Where their mouth should be and clawing at it as if their mouth was buried under the skin. They slowly panicked more and began to breath heavily from her nose.

꒰ 𝐍𝐨 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐲, 𝐈 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐡𝐮𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐮𝐩. ꒱

'WHAT?!' [Y/n] screamed in terror within their mind, Their eyes growing wide before instantly narrowing back into a hateful glare as they tried calming themselves down. How could this thing do that? How am i still alive? Where am i? What's going on? Who is this?! The load of thoughts rushed through their mind and didn't help much with the panic.

NO SHIT SHERLOCK!! [Y/n]'s glare deepened as they made a few gestures around showing how angry they were and how obviously they wanted an explanation. The strange message box only shifted up and down with a simple "Hahaha".. [Y/n] read it all sarcastically for no reason.

Before they could do anything the message box suddenly appeared closer to them and to their left side.

... excuse me? [Y/n] pulled a strange face as they whacked their arms around and managed to push the box away. Were they seriously being flirted with by a.. whatever this thing was?.. They rolled their eyes in annoyance as they crossed their arms, Making a small gesture to their lips after managing to relax themselves a little.

They were even more freaked out as the message board added the emoji, They glared at him and shifted around; Wincing as they felt even more off with the fact they were kind of floating. Before extending their arm towards the box which only added more and more kissing and heart emoji's as [Y/n] did so, Before smacking the top of the box with a lot of angry gestures.

They scoffed but only went silent thinking about what else this thing could possibly do if they were to anger it. "..whatever, Can you just explain what the fuck happened?"

It seemed this thing had been sentient most of the time, Since the first time they played.. Eventually however, [Y/n] decided it would be a waist of her time to think too much on it or try argue about not wanting this because.. She did and she was too lazy.

[y/n] scoffed with a semi hurt expression as it cut them off and admitted they didn't have much or any of a choice. And before they knew it, They were falling.. With the white glowing room slowly disappearing and bleeding into a reality; The place above them shifted from pure white to the blue skies.

"..wait- SHIT!!!" They screamed as they fell down from the sky, [Y/n] began to panic once more, Screaming from the top of their lungs before hitting the ground.. Or almost as a large pink glow blocked their vision and safely placed them to the ground of a dark alleyway.

The steps from her shoes were quite loud, Crunching on the glass and wasted wrappers from food along with a few pebbles as she stepped into the alleyway. Wearily glancing around the cranked in place with a small frown. "Aaah, This was such a horrible idea!" She mumbles to herself in a hushed yell. Although thinking this, A feeling in her chest said otherwise and she continued down the alleyway before stopping and freezing seeing a person.

Sayori couldn't exactly tell the gender of the person, They're skin was a little roughed up and dirty with their (e/c) eyes wide and staring at the floor they sat on in a strange W shape, Slouched. Their (h/c) locks of hair were messy but not too noticeable and same to around (h/l) and they wore a pretty bland outfit.

"..hot" was all Sayori could mumble at the sight, Sure it may have been more of a depressing and/or deranged sighting to others but.. That feeling sparked up in her, She felt attracted to them because they looked so.. horrible.. The specks of dust and dirt in their hair and on their body just had something in her stomach squirm.

"U-um.." She shook her head and tried her best to keep calm, Aghh why did this have to happen today?.. A-and how can i like someone i haven't even talked to?! with a small groan she patted down her outfit and stepped closer to them. "Hello?"

The (h/c) only stopped mumbling to themself and looked up to her, Sayori sweatdropped by the strong glare of hatred the person gave her. AAHHH!!! THEY HATE ME ALREADY??!! FUCK, YOU'RE SO STUPID, SAYORI. NOBODY SAYS 'HELLO' NOWADAYS THAT'S SO BLAND!!

"...Say-" The person quickly shut up before they could continue, Their eyes widening a bit as they pursed their lips as their eyes softened at the sight of the shorter girl. They couldn't believe their eyes, They weren't sure what to expect but meeting one of the character's so quickly sure wasn't something they would have seen coming!!

"I uhm.. Ah-.." Sayori shifted her free hand to tug on the red bowtie of hers as heat only raised throughout her body, A lump caught in her throat as she felt hot and sweaty. She had only heard a small clipped of their voice but fuck was it so good to hear... Sayori's mind drifted to wondering how her name would sound coming from their mouth...

"....I was.. ahem... A-are you alright sir.. ma'am?" Sayori glanced off, Messing with the strap of her bag as she spoke awkwardly, Unsure how to even address the person.

Snapping from their thoughts, The (h/c) cleared their throat and stood up slowly from the ground, Shaking off all the thoughts and jumbled feelings they felt about the entirety of this all. "Yeah, Sorry about that.. Um.. I'm (l/n)--" [Y/n] trailed off as they recalled back to the notebook, Unsure why their name had to be changed. "I mean.. Tomeo [Y/n]! It's nice to meet you,?" They tilted their head softly to the side as they spoke.

Sayori could have sworn she heard angelic music play in the background as the person, [Y/n] spoke, Ah.. The more they spoke the more Sayori could feel herself liking them even more!.. Oddly enough..

"..Sayori.. U-um, Yȏkȏ Sayori!" The coral head introduced herself, 'YES!! I got their name, That's a step into friendship.. then.. then.. maybe..' Sayori shook her head softly and lightly dug her nails into her palm. 'No, No! This isn't some disney movie.. Love at first sight doesn't exist.. On both ends at least.. A-and plus! You have Ren, What happened to him?! I should like him, I've known him longer than Tomeo..'

[Y/n] smiled slightly, Brushing a hand over their shirt as they walked a bit closer and held their hand out for a friendly shake. "Well it's a pleasure to meet you, S-" Once again, They paused for a moment before clearing their throat and continuing. "Yȏkȏ.."

"P-please, There's no need to be all fancy with it!! You can just call me Sayori!" The girl managed to push the feelings and sudden thoughts down as a large and excited grin made it's way to her lips. Bouncing in her place for a moment before taking their hand and giving it a long shake; Ignoring how nice [Y/n]'s hands felt against her own.

"ah.. Alright then Sayori." They smiled back, Putting the effort to make their much more friendly and cheerful as they slowly took their hand back. "Well, In that case you can just call me [Y/n]." They put their hands into their pocket as their eyes glazed over and up to the sky above them..

And now... a new life has begun....
