"Do we have a plan for stealing this bracelet?" Rip asked walking in with Ray

"We're on it." Mick replied with a devilish smile

"Please don't tell me the plan is to walk into Savage's citadel and steal it off her wrist." Crystal groaned looking to Leonard

"All right, I won't tell you that." Leonard said making Crystal huff following them.

"Vandal Savage has a daughter?" Ray asked with the rest of the team confused as he was

"Apparently it's true. There's a lid for every pot."

"And this lid is gonna be very upset when he finds out that we took his pot," Jax said making everybody think of it as a drug, "You know what I mean."

"So what's the problem? It's not like we're on Savage's Christmas card list." Leonard reminded everybody with Crystal still leaning against his shoulder.

"And we snagged the bracelet. You're welcome, by the way." Mick added on

"We need to weaponize that thing before Savage knows that it and his daughter are missing." Ray said

"Actually, I think I've got that figured out. But I'm gonna need you to burn something for me." Kendra turns to Mick, who willingly accepts

"About time."

"We also need to figure out what we're going to do with our new guest."

"She's seen us and the ship. If she runs back to Savage, we're giving him a huge advantage." Crystal reasons with him

"So we make her our advantage. We send Papa Savage a finger. And we keep sending them till he puts his own head on the chopping block."

"That is a positively lurid idea. I know we're in the midst of a war, but can't we maintain our honor?" Stein fought against Mick's idea.

"I'd rather maintain my life, Professor."

"If she is Savage's daughter, then she would know the details of his defenses." Sara implied

"Yes, well, how exactly are we going to get those details out of her?" Rip asked

"I'm on it" Leonard said leaving Crystal with some doubt knowing that the last time he was assigned something it didn't go so well.

"What's happening?" Crystal said as the ship started moving and shaking, knowing that she wasn't doing it this time.

"It would seem Savage has come back for his baby girl."

"The last of the refugees are aboard, Captain." Gideon spoke

"Strap yourself in. Gideon, external floodlights to maximum."

Crystal strapped herself in but held her stance when she saw a green giant sized robot in front of them.

"That's..." Crystal couldn't finish her sentence

"Incredible."

Crystal quickly secured herself as she braced herself for impact. The ship was doing its best to avoid the robot's attacks but when all seemed well the robot got a hold of their ship

"Now might be a good time to start praying." Rip said which scared the team even more as they were flung by the robot like a Frisbee into the ground.

The ship hit hard enough to make Rip's chair turn sideways, sparks were flying everywhere to an extent that the lights went off.

"Gideon, what's our status?"

"I'm gonna go with lousy." Crystal said catching her balance

"Shut down all essential systems so Savage's robot..."

"Too late, Captain; apparently, it has determined you are still alive, because it is closing in on our location." Gideon informed on more bad news.

"What happened?" Stein came in trying to identify the situation.

"We seem to have encountered Savage's megaweapon."

"And he kicked our ass."

"Gideon, how much time do we have?"

"I estimate the robot should reach our location within the hour. Our propulsion engine was severely damaged in the crash and is no longer functioning."

"So where does that leave us?"

"All right, our only option is to take the Jumpship and try and outrun it."

Crystal went to check on how Leonard was doing when she came across him showing Savage's daughter the footage of Savage releasing the Armageddon virus. At this time, Crystal realized that they could defeat Savage once and for all.

The fated moment had arrived they were up against Savage. Mick, Sara, Leonard, Crystal, and Rip came out of the shadows

"No need to trouble yourself, Miss Savage. We're already here." Rip pointed his gun

"Oh, I admire your command of irony, Gareeb... Using my own child against me. "

"Sorry to say it didn't take much."

"None at all, you ass."

"They showed me the truth of what you've done. The innocent..."

"Do not speak as if you know anything about ruling a people. Do you really want to align your fate with these... pretenders? They're nothing but grains of sand in the desert of time."

"You are a monster." His daughter spoke to him and in that moment guards came out pointing their guns resulting in Mick and Leonard to raise their weapons along with Crystal and her bow.

"She's here. I can sense her. You do realize that she can do me no harm?"

"Clearly, you didn't get the memo." Crystal spoke as Kendra hawked her way in starting the fight.

Crystal stood on top of a pile of rubble, shooting at every threat she could see, never missing one person she aimed for. The year 2166 was just as bad as Rip had told them to be, the majority of every building that ever stood destroyed, helpless and innocent people dead due to Savage and his dictatorship. They always said taking on Savage at the height of his power was a bad idea, but they were out of options.

Their past selves had been removed from the timeline, and they needed to be put back soon, otherwise they could risk erasing themselves from history. Their family, friends, they would all forget about them. Rip wasn't willing to let them lose everything, not just so he could have his family back, this needed to end before any more loss could be felt.

"Nice shot, Princess." Leonard commented over the earpiece, as Crystal shoots down a guy running at Sara, who is a good hundred meters away from her.

"Thanks" Crystal grins in response. glancing over at Leonard who stood back to back with Mick, both of them firing their guns at anyone coming at them.

For the first time, she felt powerful. She felt in control of her magic, and confident she was doing a good job for the team. That she actually belonged as one of them. Glancing up, she saw Jax and Stein merge as Firestorm fly over her, shortly followed by Ray in his Atom suit. Everyone was busy playing their part, and over the earpiece Rip informed them they had located Savage, that it wouldn't be long now.

The thing about this team was that they always did seem to have bad luck. Not matter how well things were going, something always went wrong for them, one way or another. None of them knew though, what the cost would be for what went wrong next, and how much of an impact that it would have.

"SNART, LOOK OUT!" Sara suddenly yelled, making panic fall over Crystal, spinning to see her fiancée about to get attacked from behind.

Too busy taking out a guy coming from the front, Crystal quickly lifted her hand and pointed it at the guy, and began to quietly chant, "Phesmatos Pyrox Mori=sinus Illum" Not a second later, the attacker fell to his knees holding his head in pain, blood starting to trickle down from his nose.

Leonard turned to see what was happening and sent a thankful yet concerned look over to Crystal. He could tell by the look on her face that the spell was draining her energy. Event though she could tolerate and manage the pain it caused, it still put her in a weal and vulnerable state.

Everything then felt to go in slow motion for Leonard Snart, ash he saw someone sneaking up behind the Huntress with a knife in hand, unnoticed by Crystal completely.

He called out her name, both him and Sara trying to warn the girl, but it was too late. He watched as she turned to face the man, only to have a knife he held plunge into her stomach, her eyes widening in fear and pain.

It was like the world around them fell silent, all you could hear was her bow clattering to the ground, as the knife was pulled from her stomach. Sara grew furious, and quickly ran and tackled the man to the ground to kill him, while Snart ran as fast as he could to Crystal's side. He reached her just as she fell to her knees, her hand weakly covering the wound that had blood flowing from it, trying to stop the bleeding.

"No, no, no" Snart reoeated, shaking his head in denial as she fell back into his arms, growing pale.

"Get her back to the Waverider, Snart. Now!" Rip said urgently

Leonard nodded silently, going to lift her into his arms to go, but Crystal shook her head at him sadly, "We'll never make it back before-"

"Don't talk like that." He snapped cutting her off, "You're going to be fine."

"I think we both know that isn't true." she replied weakly, using her strength to place her hand against his cheek, stroking it softly as he tried to stop her wound bleeding with his hands"It's okay, it doesn't hurt. Not anymore."

"This is my fault," Snart says biting his lips, "If you hadn't been distracted helping me.."

"Then our roles right now would be entirely reversed. And I was never going to let you die, not to save myself," she argues firmly, a small and weak smile on her lips as she looks at the man she loves.

"Please let me get you back to Gideon," he pleads sadly but she shakes her head with tears in her eyes when she sees the look on his face.

"There isn't time, and you know it just as well as I do." she says watching as a tear falls not down her own cheek, but down his "But knowing I am going to leave this world, not only being apart of a team helping to save the world but that I was loved by you, Leonard Snart, makes me the happiest I have ever been."

Leonard strokes his hand through her hair, ignoring as the rest of the team gathered around them, all of them watching sadly. They knew what was coming and no one was ready to accept it. They wern;t ready to lose another.

"I love you, Princess." Leonard tells her honestly, placing a soft and passionate kiss on her pale lips,

"I love you too, Leonard Snart" she whispers out, before her eyes begin to slowly fall shut.

Her lips slowly part as Crystal Pierce takes her final breath, before drifting off into what would be a never ending sleep. Her head falls to the side, her body becoming completely lifeless, but Leonard doesn't let go of her, Instead, he presses his lips against her forehead softly, tears flowing down his cheeks quicker then before.

"Sleep tight, Princess."

"Leonard.." Rip called out with Leonard just looking at Crystal's appearance before snapping at him

"What Rip! Can't I have a moment of grief?"

"Mr. Snart, if you are unaware then let me inform you the brain itself is still functioning 7 minutes after your death."

Leonard straightened up at the possibility but knew it was too good to be true.

"How are we going to get there in time?"
