Ambrose Vidius ran through alleyways. The sound of his footsteps pounding against the concrete and splashing through the puddles were all you could hear apart from the guns shooting at him. He ducked and weaved through alleys hoping to escape. He "accidentally" came across a shipment of drugs being delivered to someone high up, Ambrose didn't catch the name.

The sounds of sirens were drawing closer to them. Ambrose ran the opposite way. Call him crazy but most cops were working with the criminals nowadays. He could only trust Gordon and the vigilante's.

Ambrose was tackled to the ground and pulled behind a garbage dumpster right before a bullet could hit him. He glanced at his savior and sighed. Of course it was her. Spoiler saved him. She put her finger to where her mouth would be under the mask as an indicator to be quiet and Ambrose just rolled his eyes.

"Where'd that little fuck go?" A criminal yelled out to his friends? Co-workers? Who ever his allies were.

Then all of a sudden there were bullets flying from the opposite direction, towards the criminals. Of course the Red Hood was here too. He and Spoiler worked together often, but most of the time Red Robin wasn't too far behind them.

"Stay here." Spoiler demanded as more criminals came. She got up and snuck up behind a criminal taking him down instantly. Fighting besides the Red Hood. Obviously the safest option would be the stay put hiding, but Ambrose wasn't one to follow orders and got up from his hiding spot grabbing a piece of a pipe that was laying on the ground and swinging at the first criminal he saw.

Spoiler immediately rolled her eyes and muttered something under her breath, Ambrose couldn't really hear what it was but it was definitely about how much of a pain Ambrose was to work with. The Red Hood laughed at what Spoiler said.

Soon enough everyone except the trio were on the floor groaning in pain or passed out.

"So what caused all these bitches to shoot at you?" The Red Hood asked, interested in what trouble Ambrose got in this time.

"Oh you know, just running into a shipment of drugs with about twenty armed guards, about five blocks that way." Ambrose pointed towards the docks. Spoiler sighed before turning away to contact whoever runs their comms letting them know about the current shipment.

"Do you know who their boss is?" Spoiler questioned referring to the knocked out criminals.

"No idea love" making Spoiler groan as he attempted to flirt with her. Something he occasionally does to mess with her. The Red Hood laughed as Spoiler clenched her fists and released them repeatedly.

"How many times do I have to tell you I'm not your "love" or whatever the weekly nickname is." Spoiler sighed, fed up with Ambrose's tactics.

They continued to banter back and forth not realizing when the Red Hood left to deal with the shipment. Soon enough Commissioner Gordon showed up. He looked disappointed when he saw Ambrose annoying Spoiler.

"Ambrose leave the poor girl alone" Spoiler looked to the sky in thanks to whatever god had Gordon show up.

"I have to go now Commissioner but I will see you around!" Spoiler yelled out as she left the scene of the crime.

"What am I going to do with you now, do I even want to know why they were chasing you?" Gordon questioned.

"Probably not but I'll tell you anyway." Gordon muttered a sarcastic "great", "I happened to walk into the docks and saw a drug shipment going down and they saw me so they wanted me dead then Spoiler and Hood saved my ass." Ambrose grinned.

"Son, you have to stop doing this. You will get yourself killed one of these days"

"Yeah whatever, nice seeing you old man, but I've to run now!" Ambrose ran out of the alley before Gordon could stop him.

i hope you all enjoyed the prologue, stephanie and ambrose don't get along in the beginning but they grow to love each other. they have an attraction they refuse to acknowledge.
