Welcome to my first ever book, Letter to the Boy With the Lightning Scar:) This is basically to give you some background info, but if you don't read this I'm sure you'll catch on to everything by simply reading the book. So, as you probably have already guessed, this is a Harry Potter x reader romance fan fiction and will start off in your third year at Hogwarts. Your first two years at Hogwarts won't have a recap, but there might be some mention of it if it becomes relevant. I didn't really think it was that important because it was pretty average. However, in case you need it or are just curious I will be giving brief background about it in this post.

 You and Harry had a relatively platonic relationship throughout years 1&2. Of course having your  awkward moments that made you wonder if you had a crush on him, but you both were relatively young so it mostly didn't turn into anything. Starting this year you realize that Harry Potter is starting to peak your interest, as goes for him. Your relationship blossoms and becomes official at some point in the book, but I won't spoil for you when that is. You guys getting together is no smooth path however, as there is some drama that gets in the way.(Harry does not fall madly in love with Ginny in this)

Most of the story will be told in a third person point of view with only the beginning couple being first. The storyline will follow that of a mixture of the books and movies along with me adding extra scenes or not including some that are not important. Possible smut that's not overly detailed (not sure as I know that makes some people uncomfortable) in the later years once the characters are older, mostly fluff in the beginning. This book will be written from years 3-7, and I will post chapters 1+ times a week. 

I promise if you read through the first few chapters, the story gets better!
