Untold Story Of Reality
Hyejoo had been suspicious about the two, to be more specific, Hyeri and Jinsoul. It has been weeks or even months that the two are acting weird—or that's how she wanted to call it.
For everyone to understand what that 'weird' thing for Hyejoo is, she means that they have been more clingy, even more skin ships occuring. A lot of those things were happening in the past few weeks.
She knows that it was a usual thing for Hyeri to be clingy to everyone and that is how she got her nickname 'panda' , however, this time was a bit different compared to the usual clinginess of the girl.
Everything was confusing her and the fiery burning sensation inside her was making her uncomfortable. She was jealous. Hyejoo just realized that when Hyeri herself told her what it was.
"Hey Hyeri, what do you call that feeling when you wanted to erupt out of anger just because of seeing something unpleasant to someone's perspective?" The older Hye asked. Hyeri, surprisingly, was in her smart side and professionally answered Hyejoo as if she had knowledge to everything.
The panda chuckled, patting Hyejoo's shoulder as she began explaining. "My dear, it is not because of anger. That feeling you can't explain clearly enough is jealousy. You greed for something, you wanted to erupt because you saw someone got the thing you supposed to have or wanted."
"Let's take Sooyoung eonni as an example. She's in a bad mood for the past few days because she was jealous of Lip eonni getting all the attention from Jiwoo eonni when Sooyoung eonni was supposed to be getting those. Look, she's rolling her eyes at Lip eonni unbeknownst to her."
Hyeri pointed her finger towards Sooyoung who indeed rolled her eyes at Jungeun and Jiwoo, spending their time together happily. Hyejoo carefully wrote down in her mind everything the younger Hye said, processing each one of them for her to understand enough.
Hyeri turned her head back towards the wolf, "Anyways, why'd you asked? Are you feeling jealous over someone?" she asked which caught Hyejoo off guard as she froze.
"A-ah no. I was just curious," she stammered and mentally cursed at herself for that. Fortunately for her, Hyeri was back to her dense and dumb side as the older Hye's explanation was enough for her to not ask any more questions.
Jealousy came rushing to Hyejoo's veins as soon as Jinsoul appeared and made Hyeri go running to her, clinging once again. Jinsoul added more fuel to the raging fire when she kissed Hyeri's forehead, which is something the girl doesn't usually do unless she was sincere enough about it.
Then the two had left the living room, heading to their shared room and Hyejoo doesn't want to know more about the cringey things they do.
She didn't got any chance to ask Hyeri what was going on between her and Jinsoul. Although if ever she had the chance to, the courage in her would suddenly fade away, afraid to know the truth.
But this time Hyejoo had enough of the crap already, she couldn't handle the jealousy anymore, wanting to end this feeling and the confusion that had been going since she started 'spying' them.
Since Hyunjin was the nearest person to her, she decided to ask her the question that was supposed to be for Hyeri's. "Hey Hyunjin eonni, what's going on between Jinsoul eonni and Hyeri?" she questioned the cat who was busy with her phone.
Not even daring to look at the girl as Hyunjin answered, "How many times do I have to tell this to you, Hyeri and Jinsoul eonni are dating, okay? Got it now, you sunshine?"
"What? WHAT?!"
Hyunjin finally removed her attention from her phone and stared at Hyejoo who shouted in disbelief, her eyes grew wide as her lips slightly parted. And at this moment, she knew she was doomed.
She thought it was Yerim she was talking to. Never in her life she felt so stupid and dumb until this day happened, she wanted to bury herself alive than to feel the other girls' wrath for accidentally slipping out the truth.
"Holy cra—ckers! Shit, that was a close one— Oh fuck. Wait shit no—oh my god." Hyunjin panicked, her hands began to shake due to nervousness. Her whole body came shaking next, scared of what will happen next.
The other girls (excluding Jinsoul and Hyeri) who were minding their own business rushed to the living room where the shout came from, everyone stared at the two with a confused look on their faces.
"What's going on here?"
Haseul questioned, cocking one eyebrow up as she looked at Hyunjin and Hyejoo. Hyunjin was shaking uncontrollably, Hyejoo was fuming in anger.
"Who else knew?" Hyejoo asked in a low tone, making everyone want to run away. "K-knew what?"
Her hands balled up into a fist, fighting the urge to scream the anger away, "Knew that there is something going on between Jinsoul and Hyeri."
All of their breathes hitched, eyes widened that Hyejoo finally knows the truth by accident. Some were in the verge of crying and some were glaring at Hyunjin who was now hiding far away from the fuming girl.
"C'mon just answer me!"
Hyejoo's voice boomed through every corners of the room. Surprisingly, Jinsoul and Hyeri were still not knowing about what was happening outside the bedroom. Probably fast asleep and couldn't care less about the happenings around.
Sooyoung gathered all her courage as she step forward towards the raging girl, "Everyone knows it already Olivia but—"
"So all of you are saying that I am the last person in this household to know about their relationship? This is bullshit. Why? I mean why would you guys do this to me?I trusted all of you." The tone in Hyejoo's voice is enough proof that she was hurt.
Jiwoo stared at the younger girl, worry can be visible on her face. "We were going to tell you but we're afraid that you might...lose control." Hyejoo clicked her tongue at the said statement, smiling bitterly as a chuckle left her mouth.
"Perhaps I would but if you could've tell this to me sooner and still have the chance to explain everything then maybe I would still understand. I...I feel betrayed, guys."
"All of you knew about it for long enough but none of you cared to tell me what was going on between them. Hyeri is someone special to me and I feel like I should know everything about her, even things like this. You all know that. I deserve to know the truth but...why? I mean why would you hide such an important information to me? How can you all do this?"
Tears began to form on the brim of Hyejoo's eyes though she fought it back so she wouldn't break down in front of the girls. Everyone noticed how Hyejoo looked vulnerable at the moment, they regretted keeping it a secret to her.
Although they couldn't help but keep it a secret anyway, Jinsoul and Hyeri's relationship was supposed to be untold. The two girls never informed the others they were together.
However, the secret relationship began to be told when Yeojin once came in the OEC room to retrieve her pillow from the panda, only to hear Jinsoul say that she was happy that Hyeri accepted her love and was so lucky that they were together.
At first, the bean never told the others about what she heard before. Though Haseul knew their maknae very well and knew that something was bothering the youngest, that time Yeojin finally told everyone what was going on between Jinsoul and Hyeri.
Unfortunately for the lone wolf, she was excluded.
But what can they do now that it is done? No one can can change the past anyway. All they can do right now is to accept the result of their decision. Whether they want to or not.
Gowon made her way beside the girl who seemed to be in the brink of having a mental breakdown, "It's okay to be mad, Hyejoo. Let it all out. You have every right to be mad at us, we kept it a secret to you anyway."
"But, please do understand that you aren't the only one who felt betrayed at first. They didn't told us about their relationship, Yeojin was the one who informed us about this," Gowon sighed as she caressed Hyejoo's back, "We were mad too when we first knew about this. Noticing how much we wanted to rage out of anger, what more if you were the one who heard it? You'll obviously erupt so we decided not to tell you."
"Yet."
Yerim clarified, careful not to make Hyejoo misunderstood their explanation. Hyejoo sniffed, her hands were still balled up into a fist as she heaved a deep sigh.
Hyejoo looked up to face them once again, "I...I think I need some fresh air." She then walked her way out the dorm, taking her time to process everything that just happened.
"Yeah...you can take all the time you want."
The girls looked at Hyejoo's disappearing figure with sorrowful eyes. Haseul sighed for the nth time of the day as she pinched the bridge of her nose, "Those two got some explanation to do," she spoke, referring to Hyeri and Jinsoul.
Meanwhile, the mentioned girls in the bedroom were still enjoying their alone time, not aware of the whole commotion that just happened outside the room.
