Stress Reliever

"Hey Hyeri, let's play" Hyejoo invited, earning no response from the mentioned girl who had her head buried on her pillow. "Yah, are you dead?" The older Hye lightly tapped Hyeri's back, hoping to earn a reply but still the same.

Hyejoo decided to poke her waist as she knew it was Hyeri's ticklish spot. The younger finally turned around, falling off from the bed in process. "Now, you're literally dead" Hyejoo deadpanned.

"What do you want, eonni" Hyeri whined before slouching back up the bed. "I told you to play with me, didn't I?" scoffed Hyejoo.

"Go ask someone to play with you, I wanna sleep"

"But all of them are busy"

Hyeri bore her eyes on the older, giving her a stoic look on the face "Gowon eonni told me she wasn't going to do anything today, go invite her to play with you and leave me alone"

Her statement left Hyejoo speechless, but that doesn't mean she will give up convincing Hyeri to have fun with her. She's determined and when she is, everyone in the dorm knows how they'll end up.

"Yah, just one game!" Hyejoo shook the younger Hye's body, receiving grunts and groans from the pissed off Hyeri. "Eonni! Can't you see I want to sleep peacefully? Please leave the room this instant"

"This is our room"

"..."

"Fine if you want to sleep, go back to your own room"

The older retorted which made Hyeri quickly roll off the bed, making contact with the floor but immediately stood up. "You know what, I think I'll just go out"

"Where are you going?"

"Going to play archery"

"Why? Are you ill?"

Hyeri expressed a stank face, "What?" She asked in disbelief. "Playing archery is your stress reliever. You good?" Hyejoo commented.

"Oh dang, that's heart fluttering. You really do know me that much" The younger placed her palm on her chest as she she stared at Hyejoo in awe. "But yeah, I'll go now-and don't even dare follow me"

"And actually, playing violin is my stress reliever but you could add archery in" Hyeri shrugged her shoulders, "Wait-what?! You play the violin? I never see you play one-" The panda left, had enough hearing Hyejoo's blabbering.

-

"Hey Hyedong~ where are you heading?" Jinsoul questioned, seeing the younger all dressed up. "Hyedong? Well, that's new. Actually I'm going to wherever there are archery booths" Hyeri explained.

"It's Hyeri plus dongsaeng so Hyedong! Anyways, want me to accompany you?"

"Thanks but no thanks, eonni. I wanted to enjoy my alone time"

"But it would be more fun if you have a friend with you!"

The younger girl froze and thought about it for a while, "You're right. Okay, you can come with me!" Jinsoul celebrated, "Hey! Are you two seriously going to have fun without me?"

Hyejoo ran away from the yyxy room before pouncing on the two, snaking her arms around Hyeri and Jinsoul's neck. "C'mon let's have a best friends' day out!" The wolf girl exclaimed. "It's been a while since we hang out together, so..okay!" Hyeri escaped the older Hye's grip as she skipped her way to the door.

"Let's act like what we were before for today, eonni" Hyejoo smiled, patting the older's back before following the panda who had already ran away from them. Jinsoul hesitated for a while but then her lips curved up in a smile, finally making her way to follow her two dongsaengs.

The other girls who were eavesdropping, wore smirks as they look at each other "Oho, this is going to be interesting. Wanna bet who's gonna be a third wheeler?"

"I bet for Jinsoul!" Sooyoung raised her hands up. Jiwoo, Gowon and Yeojin raised their hands along with the older.

"We go for Hyejoo" Jungeun told as Yerim, Heejin and Hyunjin nodded their heads in agreement. As for Vivi, she decided not to bet on anyone since it was clear that Hyejoo said they are going to have fun like the best friends they are.

-

"Where do you guys want to go?" Jinsoul asked the other two, "Are you going to treat us?" The youngest amongst them answered with another question.

"Oh god, not again please!"

"I was just kidding, don't worry eonni" Hyeri hysterically laughed at how the oldest looked like, "You should see your face!" Hyejoo exclaimed and laughed along the other Hye.

"Hey! I didn't came with you two to get teased, I'm older than you two so respect me" Jinsoul scolded but the two did not stopped from their laughing session.

"Alright...grandma" The two Hye said in unison, laughing once again as they ran away from Jinsoul who was now turning red in both embarrassment and annoyance. The oldest chased the two, having fun with their chasing session.

-

"Okay so this is the reason why we went outside in the first place, ready to turn into Merida?" Hyeri grabbed her bow before posing. Jinsoul and Hyejoo laughed at her cuteness while they ask for assistance on wearing the gears as well as how it is played. Hyeri done hers herself as she knew how it works anyways.

The both of them stood in their position as they grabbed their bow and arrow, "Whoa, this is heavy" Jinsoul commented, earning a nod from the two. "I'll demonstrate for you two" The panda informed.

Hyeri stood upright with feet shoulder width apart, and feet at 90 degrees to the target. Lifting the bow slowly and smoothly, the young girl kept a relaxed grip on the bow handle despite its heaviness.

She placed the arrow on the shelf of the arrow rest. Hyeri pushed the nock of the arrow onto the string between two brass nocking points, ensuring that the cock fletch is pointing upward.

Hyeri positioned her fingers on the string with the index finger above the arrow and two fingers below as the string sat in the last crease of her fingers. She pulled back the string using her back muscles and not her arms.

(a/n: yes, googled cus I don't know how to play archery though I want to write a chapter about it-)

Using her dominant eye, Hyeri looked down the arrow as she aligned it with the target. Aiming for the bullseye, she let go of the string along with the arrow. The girl's arrow hit 9 as she sighed in disappointment but nonetheless patted her own head as an encouragement.

Jinsoul and Hyejoo clapped in amazement, "Ooh! That was good, Hyeri-ah" Both of them complimented, patting Hyeri's back.

"Now, your turn!"

Jinsoul went to try it first as she did her best to stable her stance especially when the bow's weight wasn't a joke. "Ah eonni, straighten your posture. It'll help a lot in breathing" Hyeri advised which the older obeyed. Jinsoul copied what the younger had demonstrated earlier as she focused on her target.

Her fingers let go of the grip on the string as it hit 7, Jinsoul stared at her arrow in awe as the younger girls clapped their hands. "Whoa, not bad for a beginner"

"Ha, I can beat her with that" Hyejoo snorted, lifting her bow and grabbing an arrow before placing it on the shelf of the arrow nest. Drawing it backwards gently, she used her dominant eye before letting go of the arrow.

It landed on 5 as both Jinsoul and Hyeri laughed hysterically. Hyejoo pouted but laughed along with the two, "I suddenly lost my confidence" She commented.

"Don't worry eonni! It's understandable since you are a beginner though Jinsoul eonni surprisingly mastered the game in a short span of time"

"She did not, it's just luck" The wolf girl huffed, playfully glaring at Jinsoul but hugged her like a baby she is anyways. "Anyways! Shall we continue our game? Loser treats us for the whole day. You guys in?" Hyeri suggested as a cheeky smile appeared on her face.

Hyejoo and Jinsoul spared time to look at each other before smirking, "Count us in"

"We're home!"

The trio came back, carrying plastic bags in their hand that obviously contains foods as always. The other girls averted their attention to the three, their eyes immediately directed at the plastic bags.

"Ooh! What did you guys brought?" Yeojin popped out of nowhere as she took the plastic bag that Hyeri was carrying. "Oh my god, it's donuts!" She cheered before running away to the three, still carrying the box of donuts.

"Yah Im Yeojin! I get the matcha one, okay?" Hyeri yelled as she followed wherever the bean went. As for the other two girls, they just chuckled before walking to the living room after giving the plastic bags to the others.

"This is it, this is the moment we've been waiting for!" Hyunjin cheered as she ran towards the two who were with Hyeri earlier. The other girls (excluding Hyeri and Yeojin) followed Hyunjin before sitting down the floor, "What are you guys talking about?" Jinsoul and Hyejoo questioned, confusion visible on their faces.

"So, who third wheeled today? Ha! If it's Olivia then today will be my lucky day" Jungeun asked, eager to know the answer of the two-who laughed at them which made the rest of the girls looked at them in confusion.

"I can't believe you guys literally betted on that, actually no one did since it's a 'best friends' day out not a date" Hyejoo chuckled before rolling her eyes at Jungeun, "Plus, I won't let myself be a third wheel if it is a date"

"Does that mean, Vivi eonni won?" Gowon's eyebrow quirked up. "Heard my name, what's up?" Vivi peeked from the wall that separates the kitchen and the living room. The girls stared at her with pouts on their faces as they sighed, making Vivi confused with their response.

"Next time, never ever make a deal about us because you'll end up in the same situation like now" Jinsoul informed, pointing at the girls as she warned them before fist bumping with Hyejoo.
