Cuddles Are Better Than A Hot Compress

since the previous chapter was short:D

——

"HURRY UP IM YEOJIN, HYERI'S GOING TO CRY SOON."

Yelling sounds surrounded the dorm, their noises surely had reached the neighborhood but they couldn't care less.

Yeojin rushed back to their shared room carrying a hot compress. Hyeri thought that yesterday was going to be a usual fun day. Unfortunately for her, it was her time of the month which she seriously hate.

She hated it so much, she hold a deep grudge on it. Of course, she couldn't move that much, laugh that much, and other things she usually does.

But Hyeri's most hated thing whenever she has periods was the cramps. Everyone hates that, admit it or not.

Currently, everyone keeps rushing back and forth. Walk here, walk there. They were busy taking care of Hyeri, but they seem to be overreacting and all Hyeri can do was to chuckle at their actions.

"Here it is, you don't need to shout." Yeojin threw the hot compress at Haseul before sprinting outside the room, running for her life.

The older sent daggers to Yeojin's disappearing figure before finally turning her attention back to Hyeri who was clutching her stomach due to her cramps. Vivi took the hot compress from Haseul's hold. The oldest faced her with an adoring smile, placing the hot compress to her lower belly area to lessen the pain. "Does it still hurt?"

Hyeri shook her head, hugging the hot compress which is actually comfy. "It still hurts but not that much anymore, thank you eonni."

Both of them held out an okay sign, standing up from her bed as they walked towards the door, "We'll go for now, those kids must've made a mess already. Just call us if you need anything."

The oldest and the leader finally closed door, leaving Hyeri inside for her to rest. Turning around only to find everyone in panic, running everywhere. Both the living room and the kitchen looked like a hurricane just passed by.

"Hey, don't look at me like that. I told them to quiet down but they don't listen," Sooyoung raised both of her hands up as if caught red handed by some police officers when Haseul glared at her. "Blame Jinsoul."

Upon hearing her own name, Jinsoul stared at Sooyoung in disbelief. "Hey! You were the one who made a bet on who will Hyeri prefer to take care of her and that made everyone act like this, you liar."

Haseul pinched the bridge of her nose as Vivi massaged her shoulders. Finally done soothing the headache that was made by everyone in the household, she glared at the two older girls. "I think you guys should clean up, Haseul might erupt and we don't want anything like that to happen. Hyeri needs some quiet time right now. If you don't mind, please tell everyone to calm down," Vivi addressed, leading the leader to one of the chairs in the kitchen for her to calm down a bit.

"Sure, eonni."

The two '97 liners walked away from the two and began to scold the younger girls, finally decided to act like the grown ups they are and do their duty as one.

Meanwhile, the two sunshine of the group sneaked their way out from doing their chores as they headed to where Hyeri is. Slowly opening the door, attempting to be silent until the door creaked and failed their mission.

Hyeri wasn't sleeping at all, she was staring at Grey all along that was sleeping on top of the hot compress she was once hugging. Caressing his fur, he purrs in satisfaction which made Hyeri smile brightly.

For a moment she forgot her cramps when Grey went up to her, all snuggled up and comfy. Hyeri hasn't been giving enough attention to Grey these days due to how busy she is with her business, might as well add the fact that the girls were always squeezing her when they hug and never let her escape.

"Hyeri-ah!~" Jiwoo called out as she and Yerim went inside the room, not forgetting to close the door. They sprinted towards the younger girl who smiled at them.

Yerim was about to give Hyeri a hug when she saw the feline resting on the girl's stomach. It was such a cute sight to see but she frowned when she couldn't hug the panda though that won't be enough reason for a certain Choi Yerim to be sad.

Jiwoo laughed at Yerim's reaction before sitting down beside the youngest amongst them. "Are you feeling good now?" they asked.

"Of course, I am! Don't worry about me, eonni. I'm not sick, it's just cramps." Hyeri pulled out an even wider and brighter smile as the two other girls happily reciprocated it.

"Still! We know the feeling and your cramps seems to be more painful than I have felt." The penguin gave Hyeri a kiss on the forehead, Hyeri loving the affection she is getting. "Oh, I heard yelling earlier. Is everything alright?"

"Yeah, we're good. All of us are. Everyone being chaotic is already normal in this household," Yerim chuckled, laying down beside Hyeri as she also started to caress Grey's head.

Then the three continued chatting, losing track of time but they do not care. Jiwoo and Yerim are now cuddled up with Hyeri since Grey finally decided to let the two girls spend time with his owner, walking onto his cat bed and slept again.

Three of them were getting comfortable, almost falling asleep not until the door slammed open making them flinch in surprise as Grey hissed before running away from the room.

"YOU TWO, I— oh gosh, I should be quiet." Hyunjin covered her mouth before looking around if anyone will be there to smother her to death for being noisy. Looking back at Yerim and Jiwoo, she glared at the two as she ran back to where she came from probably going to tell the others.

"I hope you've got yourself ready because any minute by now, everyone is already cuddled up with you."

"Nah, I can handle it. Cuddles are better than a hot compress anyway. Besides, this hot compress is slowly losing it's warmth, I need a better replacement."

And that's how they ended up sleeping while cuddling altogether.
