Authors Pov:

Ayaka currently sleep with Grim in her arms, sleeping peacefully. Whenever Ayaka sleeps longer than she usually does, that either means she's sleeping peacefully or if she's having a nightmare.

"Ayaka~ Get up, it's time for your first day~" one of the ghosts called out to her.

"Nnggaahh... Five more minutes..." Grim grumbled.

"You'll be late for your first day. Or you're gonna end up like us." Another ghost joined in.

Ayaka and Grim immediately woke up from the voice. "Ffgyyya?! It's those ghosts again!" Grim yelled.

Ayaka looked at the ghosts, then at her clock on her phone. "Oh gosh! We gotta get ready! I thought I setted my clocked earlier... Come on Grim, let me clean your fur." Ayaka took Grim in her arms and rushed to the bathroom.

"Yuno-Nii, are you up?!" Ayaka yelled as she ran down the hallway. She can hear a faint "Hai" coming from Yuno's room. Ayaka arrived at the bathroom and took a small cloth and wetted it with soap, and started to clean Grim.

"Hey! I can do this myself!" Grim complained, but he secretly enjoyed it. "If you did, you would've skipped it." Ayaka giggled. She then washed Grim and dried him up.

"There! Now head downstairs and wait for me after I shower. I'll make some breakfast and perhaps some lunch." Ayaka said. Grim did what she said and flew downstairs. "Ayaka, our uniforms have arrived. I'll go get them and bring yours in." Yuno said, walking away from his sister.

"Hai~" Ayaka proceeded to shower, as she waits for her uniform to come. As soon as Ayaka finished, she heard a knock at the bathroom door. She wraps a towel around her body and slowly opened the door. It was Yuno. "Here's your uniform." He handed her, her uniform.

Ayaka proceeded to out her uniform on and started brushing her hair and put her Butterfly pin on.

(This is her nursing school uniform)

Ayaka came out of the bathroom and grabbed her bag from her room and rushed downstairs into the kitchen, where she saw her brother, Grim, and the three ghosts in there.

"Come and eat breakfast. We need to be there early." Yuno said as he gave her her plate of breakfast. Ayaka and Grim started eating their breakfast and soon grabbed their stuff.

Ayaka finally took notice of her brothers outfit. "Oohhh. Yuno-Nii, you look great in your uniform. You gotta tell me what the classes are like when you get there." Ayaka happily said, looking at her brother.

"Let's go already." Yuno grabbed his bag and started to head out of the dorm. "Okay! We'll see you ghosts later tonight!" Ayaka bid goodbye to the ghosts and grabbed Grim and her bag as the twins and Grim headed to the school.

「Main Street」

"Hey Yuno-Nii. Is this suppose to be main street?" Ayaka asked, looking at the street they're in and at the map she was given. Since she gets lost easily.

"Yes. I heard from Onii-San that this street contains the statues of the Great Seven's. I've heard some stories from him." Yuno said, staring at the statues.

"Uwaaah~ Amazing. So this is main Street. I didn't get a good look yesterday but these statues are the 'Great Seven'? What even are they?" Grim pondered.

"They look so familiar too..." Ayaka added, looking closely at the Queen of Hearts. "Yeah. This granny looks especially snobby." Grim commented, looking at the Queen of Hearts.

"You don't know about the Queen if Hearts?" A boys voice piped in the conversation. The trio looked to serve a boy with orange hair and cherry red eyes.

"Queen of Hearts? Is she important?" Grim asked. "Of course she is, dummy. The Queen of Hearts herself is a Queen and if she's a statue, then there's a reason she's important. From what I know, she was a Queen who lived over strict rules and punishes those who disobey her." Yuno stated.

"The new dudes right. In the past she was the Queen who lived in the Rose Maze. She was someone who valued rules and discipline above all, strict in all things from the March of the card soldiers to the color of rose bushes. It was a land of madness where all submit to her rule. Why you ask? Because or else it was off with your head!" The mysterious boy explained.

"That's terrifying!" Grim screamed. Ayaka stared at the statue, with a Terrified look on her face as she imagined if the Queen was alive right now. "I-I wouldn't be able to reach her e-expectations or rules..." Ayaka stuttered.

"It's cool. I like it! Nobody would listen to a Queen who's just nice all the time, right?" The orange-haired boy said. "Sure. Unless you want to hear the nagging about rules all day and night." Yuno said.

"Well, I suppose. A strong leader is better. By the way, who're you?" Grim asked the mysterious boy.

"I'm Ace. A fresh-faced first year. Nice to meetcha." Ace introduced. Ayaka observes Ace, 'He seems like a nice and carefree person. He might be a good friend to make...' She thought.

"I am Grim. A genius who'll become the greatest magician." Grim stated. "You've got an odd sounding name. What you two?" Ace turns to the twins.

"I'm Yuno Chouko. And this is my twin sister, Ayaka. We're also freshman here." Yuno said.

"Oh! You're the twins that the dark mirror said that your magic was suited for any dormitory. It makes me curious. And your names suit you guys perfectly, even though I don't know you guys. You're the new school nurse for the school year, Ayaka?" Ace said, looking at Ayaka.

Ayaka felt Ace's long stare and got nervous. She started fiddling her fingers and avoided his gaze. "Y-Yes. But I'm only gonna be a nurse temporarily. Headmaster had let me become the nurse to avoid a lot of contact with other people because I lack self-confidence. I-Its nice to meet you, A-Ace..." Ayaka said, with her voice shaking a bit.

Ace smiled brightly at her. "Well, Nice to meet you, Ayaka! I think we'll be great friends. I hope you'll take good care of me if I ever need your medi-care~" Ace somewhat flirted.

Ayaka titled her head from what he said, but she went along with it and nodded her head. Yuno, on the other head, gave Ace a death glare, as if saying, 'Make another flirt and you're dead meat!'

Ace saw his look and reluctantly got his message, backing away from him and Ayaka. "Hey, Ace. The lion over there with the scar, are they famous?" Grim asked, looking at the scarred Lion.

"O-Of course! This is the King of Beasts who rules the Savannah. However, he was not born to be king, but he took the throne through effort and elaborate planning. After becoming king, he even allowed the loathed hyenas to live in his kingdom without discrimination." Ace explained.

"That's just cruel..." Ayaka frowned. He must've been so desperate to become king to the point he took the throne by some cruel planning? That's really cruel...

"Ooooh. I guess he was a rock not held captive by his status! Who's the lady with octopus legs?" Grim asked, looking at the next statue.

"The Sea Witch who lives in a cavern in the deep. Her purpose was to help all unfortunate merfolks. As long as you could pay the price, she could transform you, help you find love, anything. If it was within her power there wasn't anything she wouldn't do. They say her prices were pretty high, though. That's what it costs for 'Anything'. " Ace explained.

"Wow, that's amazing..." Ayaka said in awe. "Yeah, but the fact that she's a sea witch for such amazing power. I can see why she's a important figure here. I can even feel what she can do with such high prices..." Yuno commented.

"So what you're saying is I can get rich If I become a great magician?!" Grim asked. "Yeah, that is if you do become a great magician." Yuno commented.

"Hey, shut up Henchmen!" Grim shouted at Yuno. "Hey Ace, what about the man in the big hat?" Ayaka asked, looking at the statue.

"The Sorcerer of the Sand. He was a cunning vizier to a foolish sultan and saw through the fake prince that was actually a street rat trying to receive the princess. Then he got a magic lamp and became the most powerful sorcerer of all! With that power they say he became sultan." Ace explained.

"Oh... Okaa-San told me this story before..." Ayaka said in a quiet tone.

"Yeah, but what that street rat did was messed up. Lying and deceiving in order to get the princess. That's just foolish." Yuno commented.

"Ho hoh! So it is important for magicians to be the center of attention! Oooh! This lady sure is beautiful!" Grim looked at the Queen statue.

"She is the Beautiful Queen. Everyday she checked the 'Beauty ranking' in her magic mirror. And when it looked like she might fall from the number one spot, she never hesitated to do anything to get it back. I guess she had the strong will to remain the most beautiful in the world? So freaking amazing. They say she was even adept at making poisons." Ace explained.

"She's pretty but... No thanks..." Grim awkwardly said.

"She doesn't really look that pretty to be honest..." Yuno bluntly said.

"You think? But it's cool that she has something she'll never give up." Ace commented.

"S-Syrr, that single-minded drive is pretty cool." Grim agreed.

"Uwooh~ This guy has flames on his head." Ayaka walked over to the Underworld God statue.

"Lord of the Underworld! He rules a land crawling with evil spirits on his own. No doubt he is extremely skilled. Even though he's got a scary face, he did that detestable job without taking a vacation and his sincerity won over Cerberus, the Hydra, even the Titans, to fight for him." Ace explained.

"Hmm, hmm. So having talent doesn't mean you get to be haughty. And the last one, with the horns?" Grim said.

"That is the Witch if Thorns from the Magic Mountains. Noble and Elegant, even within the seven she is too class in magic and curses! She can summon lightning and storms, cover an entire country in thorns, her magic is on a whole other level. There was even a time she transformed into a dragon!" Ace explained.

"Uwaaah! A dragon?! How cool!" Ayaka fangirled.

"Ooh! A dragon! All monsters look up to them!" Grim said.

"They're all so cool~ ... Unlike a certain raccoon." Ace cheekily commented.

The twins immediately looked at Grim in bewilderment. They knew Ace was definitely talking about him.

"Ffgna!"

"Pfft... Ahaha! I can't bear it anymore! Ahahahaha!" Ace started laughing. "Aren't you the monster who went crazy at the entrance ceremony? You monster weren't called but yet you still trespassed? Yaahh, it took everything I had to not lose it at the ceremony." Ace laughed.

"What?! You're a rude one!" Grim yelled in anger.

"And now you weren't allowed in and regulated as Ayaka's assistant? Haha, how lame." Ace commented.

"Nyanyooo..."

"On top of that, but you guys don't even know about the great seven. How ignorant can you guys be?" Ace commented.

Yuno glared at him. "Well we're sorry that we always focused on our magic since it's rare. We've heard of the Great seven, we just never heard their stories. Even though our family went here." Yuno said.

"Well I recommend this monster goes back to kindergarten before coming to Night Raven College. Hehe." Ace teased.

"Gunuhnuhuhnuh..." Grim was getting even more angry.

"G-Grim, please calm down..." Ayaka tried to calm Grim down, but he ignored her.

"I thought I'd just mess with you a bit but you really blew my expectations away. Unlike you Raccoon, Me and Yuno actually have classes to attend. And Ayaka, you better get to the nurses office quick since classes are gonna start~" Ace said before walking away.

"That guys annoying. I hope I don't have classes with him..." Yuno sighed.

"This jerk! He's just gonna say that and leave! I'm pissed now! Fuunnaaaaah!" Grim blew some fire at Ace. To which he luckily dodged.

"Oh my! Watch out! What're you doing?!" Ace yelled.

"It's what you get for making fun of me! I'm gonna light up that fire-head of yours." Grim said.

"Fire-headed, huh? Heeh, you've really got guys picking a fight with me. You too. I'll turn you into a puffy, little toy-poodle!" Ace brought his magic one out.

"Ffgna!" Grim blew some more fire at Ace. "Uh oh, gotta watch out. Take that!" Ace blew out some magic wind from his magic pen at Grim.

"Guys! Stop it! We're gonna get in trouble!" Ayaka frantically yelled. "This guy is blowing wind all over the place! My fire gets all twisted up!" Grim complained.

"What's happening? A fight?" A random student came by.

"Yeah! Get em!" Another student joined in, as more students watches the fight that was happening.

"You guys, don't encourage them!" Yuno yelled at the crowd of students.

"A flimsy little fire like that won't hit me." Ace taunted. "What? You better be ready!" Grim shouted, sending another blast of fire at Ace.

"And I just change the trajectory with wind like... That!" Ace flew the fire at a different direction, without realizing where he aimed.

Ayaka's eyes widen, seeing where the fire was heading. Ayaka felt her legs move on its own and shielded the Queen of Hearts statue, burning her body in the process.

"Aaaaaah! Crap! Ayaka, are you okay?!" Ace yelled in fear, seeing the burn marks on Ayaka's body, with her uniform partially burned.

"Aya!" Yuno ran to his sister and checked her injuries. He then glared at Ace and Grim. "You idiots! You guys just had to settle your fight here! You'll get your asses expelled!" He yelled in anger.

"It's cause you're blowing the fire around! Just let me fry you!" Grim yelled at Ace.

"You really think someone is just gonna let you fry them?!" Ace retorted.

"Enough! Just what's going on here?!" The headmaster yelled, arriving at the scene.

"Guh! Headmaster..."

"He's gonna tie us up with the 'Lash of Love' get outta here!" Grim and Ace attempted to run away, but Crowley's whip caught them.

"Ooooww!"

"Ffgyaaa! Hurts just as much the second day in a row!" Grim and Ace yelled in pain. "This is my Lash of Love! It'll be another hundred years before you can outrun me!" Crowley said.

"And I told you just yesterday to not cause any trouble, didn't I? Then you go and nearly charred one if the great seven statues and burned Ms. Ayaka! I very much would like to see you expelled." Crowley scolded.

"Wait! Not that!" Ace yelled in fear. "And Ms. Ayaka and Mr. Yuno, is this how you supervise Grim?" Crowley asked the twins. "I'm sorry, Sir. We tried to stop Grim from getting more worked up but this guys insults just ended up fuelling him even more." Yuno apologized.

"My goodness... You, what's your grade and name?" Crowley asked Ace. "Ace Trappola, First Year." Ace sheepishly said.

"Then, Trappola, Grim, Chouko. As punishment I order the three of you to wash 100 windows around campus!" Crowley ordered.

"Nyaa!? It's all cause this joker was making fun of us!" Grim defended. "See how?! Me too?!" Ace exclaimed. "*sigh* I can't believe I was dragged into these idiots mess." Yuno sighed.

"Most definitely! After school, meet in the cafeteria. Understood? And Ms. Ayaka, I say you should head to the infirmary. The nurse there shall heal your burn marks." Crowley said to Ayaka, who nodded her head.

"Yes sir." Yuno and Ace said.

"Now the two of you head to your class and Ms. Ayaka, head to your first shift as the new nursing student. The nurse there will give you the training you need. For the time being, watch over Grim so that he doesn't cause trouble." Crowley instructed.

"Yes sir..." Ayaka muttered. She felt really bad for the mess that her brother had to be put in because of Ace and Grim's argument. She felt like she should be part of the punishment too.

Ayaka finished her lessons with the school nurse while keeping company with Grim as well. She soon gets a message that Yuno was finished with his classes and was heading to the cafeteria.

Ayaka texted him, saying that she'll meet him there soon. "Grim, let's go to the cafeteria. Gotta clean those windows." She said, packing her stuff.

"Nyaaa... I really don't wanna do those windows." He grumbled. "Well, it's not like you got a choice. You started the fight by attacking when using magic on school grounds are not allowed. I'll help you, Ace, and Yuno-Nii out. I don't mind cleaning, that way, it'll be faster." Ayaka stated.

Grim rested on Ayaka's shoulders as a ride as she was heading to the cafeteria. She was a croissant on her and feeded Grim during their walk. Ayaka arrived at the cafeteria, seeing Yuno already started on the windows. "Yuno-Nii!" Ayaka rushed to her twin.

"Ayaka, why are you here? You know you're not part of the punishment." Yuno said.

"But I want to help you guys out." Ayaka pouted. Yuno sighed and decided to give in from his sister. Ayaka and Grim started helping Yuno out with the windows, noticing thatbAce has still not arrived yet.

"I'm already beat from cleaning all day... Now we have to wash a hundred windows too..." Grim sighed.

"It's not like we have a choice, Grim. After all, it was you and Aces fault for fighting." Yuno stated.

"Where's Ace though?" Ayaka chirped in. "Yeah, that Ace guy is sure taking his sweet time. Who does he think he is, making me wait! I'm pissed!" Grim frowned.

Grim and the Twins waited for Ace for a long while, and yet he still hasn't came.

"......... I don't care what happened, this is too late!" Grim yelled. "Wait, he wouldn't just skip out, right?!"

"I'd believe he would..." Yuno said.

"I'm not gonna let him get away with putting all the punishment on us! Let's go Twins! We're gonna catch Ace and make him do all the window washing!" Grim declared, flying out of the cafeteria in search of Ace, with the twins behind him.

The trio made it to where Ace's classroom was, hoping he'd still be there. "Oraaaa! Where's Ace! We're not gonna let you hide away!" Grim barged in the classroom.

"Ah! There's nobody here?!" Grim yelled.

"No. I'm here." A wall portrait talked.

"Ffgyaaaaaaa!!! The picture talked?!" Grim screamed.

"What now? It's not uncommon for paintings to talk at this school. The wall lady over there, the wall gentleman over here, everyone can speak." The wall portrait said.

"That aside, who are you looking for?" The portrait asked. "A boy named Ace. He has orange hair with cherry eyes and a heart near his eye." Ayaka described.

"Aah, I know him. He's one of the freshman that started today. He went back to him dorm not too long ago." The portrait said.

"Of course he did." Yuno sighed.

"What?! So he did try to get away! Which way did he go?" Grim asked. "The entrance behind the building." Replied the portrait.

"Hey! We're going after him!"

「Near the hall of mirrors」

"No way I'm washing a hundred windows. Gonna head on home..." Ace sighed.

"Hey! You!" Grim shouted.

"Geh?! Found me!" Ace was startled. He didn't expect them trio to find him.

"You really expect us to do the punishment with you escaping from it? The headmaster would love to hear that." Yuno said.

"I won't let you be the only one to escape!" Grim yelled. "I'm not just going to wait around for you! I'm outta here!" Ace ran away from them.

"It's not fair for only you to get out of it! I want to skip out too!" Grim yelled, with the three of the running after Ace.

"Huh?" A boy with dark blue hair noticed Ace running near him. "Outta my way! Outta my way!" Ace pushed the dark haired boy away. "Eh... O-oh!"

"We've got to catch him!" Grim said. "It's fine. Ayaka can catch him, we just need to get closer to him. Ayaka, get your whip." Yuno said.

Ayaka did what she was told, and took out her other whip, one that's more flexible and less harmful.

She whipped it at Ace and wrapped him around, paralyzing him in the process. "Gueeeeeh! What the heck?! Another whip?!" Ace yelled.

"Gyahahahaha! Check it out! Ayaka just whipped Ace like a animal!" Grim laughed at Ace. "You guys should be fine. Those 100 windows should be clean in a flash." Ace said.

"We've already cleaned some but not in a damn flash!" Yuno said in frustration.

"Washing 100 windows as punishment... What in the world did you all do?" The blue haired boy asked.

"I got into a fight with that fur ball and we might have burning Ayaka up a bit and nearly charred the Queen of Hearts statue." Ace explained in a grumbled tone.

"You nearly damaged one of the Great Seven statues and ended up harming the nursing student?! That's definitely something people would get angry with! Did you even see all of the boys looking at her this morning?! If they found out you did it then your life might as well be over!" The blue haired boy said in shock.

"You get into a prestigious school then do something like that on the first day..."

"... Shuddup. And who are you?" Ace asked. "I'm Deuce. Deuce Spade. Would it hurt to remember your classmates faces at least? Ummm..." Deuce also seemed to forgot Ace's name too.

"You haven't memorized them either." Ace said, with fake sadness in his tone.

"A-Anyway! If you were ordered by the Headmaster, that means you take it seriously." Deuce scolded.

"Yeah, Yeah. Understood... The let's get this done and over with." Ace sighed in defeat. "At least your coming to your senses. The more people to help, to more will get done. Have you heard of that term?" Yuno sarcastically says.

"Hey, where's Grim?" Ayaka asked, making everyone freeze.

"Ah! That furball's gone!" Ace exclaimed.

Grim is currently running away near the great seven statues. "He heh! I leave it to you all! Bye bye!" Grim laughed.

"Dumb cat! He made me take his place!" Ace growled in anger.

"Let's go get that freaking cat! And teach him a lesson! Ayaka, try using your magic whip to catch him too!" Ace said, running outside.

"D-Do you guys need help?" Deuce asked the twins. "That would be appreciative, thanks." Ayaka bowed at Deuce.

The twins, along with Deuce ran after Ace and Grim.
