And now he was standing in front of the Room with the sign: "Audition". Seungdae nervously ran his hand through his hair. He was nervous. Very nervous.

 He took a deep breath. "I can do it. Fighting." he said to himself before he softly knocked on the door. "Come in!" he heard a deep voice and he slowly opened the door and entered the room. 

It was a big room, with a huge window. The walls were decorated with mirrors all over. On the other side of the room, that Seungdae just entered, was a long table where 5 people were sitting. To show his respect, Seungdae bowed to all of them. They just nodded. In the middle of the table was a man sat, that observed the young teenager. "Please introduce yourself." the said man asked.

 "Hi, I'm Park Seungdae, I'm 15 years old and I'm from Seattle." the nervous boy said and gave the judges a shy smile. A "cute~" was heard from a woman who was sitting on the left end of the table. Seungdae blushed slightly and gave the woman a small smile that the she returned. "And what song are you going to sing?" the man in the middle asked again. 

"I will sing "Just One Day" by BTS." Seungdae answered. "You may start." Seungdae bowed again and a male staff member handed him a microphone. "Good luck." he said and Seungdae smiled while taking the mic. He cleared his throat, then looked at the male staff and nodded. The man turned on the music and Seungdae could finally relax when the first notes were heard. 

In the last 4 weeks, he trained every day after the school together with his little brother Jay. So, basically he was able to sing and dance to the song while he was sleeping. 

The intro was playing. Seungdae was standing in the middle of the room, waiting for his turn to sing. And then, he started singing:

 „하루만 내게 시간이 있다면

달콤한 네 향기에 취해서 곤히 난 잠들고파

빡빡한 스케줄 사이에 기회가 있다면

따스하고 깊은 눈 안에 몸 담그고파

I like that, 너의 그 길고 긴 생머리

올려 묶을 때의 아찔한 목선과 흘러내린 잔머리

서로 같이 어딜 가든 내 핸드백은 니 허리

Yo' ma honey, 볼 때마다 숨이 막혀 명동 거리처럼

내 이름을 불러줄 때의 니 목소리에 (자기야)

잠겨서 난 수영하고파, 너를 좀 더 알고파

너란 미지의 숲을 깊이 모험하는 탐험가

The judges looked at each other, in pure shock. His voice was so strong, so powerful. But you could clearly hear the nervousness in the way he sang. Until now, Seungdae was just standing in the room, pouring all his emotions in this song. But now, when the refrain came up, he started to dance. He softly moved his body in the rhythm. 

„하루만 너와 내가 함께할 수 있다면

하루만 너와 내가 손잡을 수 있다면

하루만 너와 내가 함께할 수 있다면

하루만 (하루만)

너와 내가 함께할 수 있다면너와 하루만 있기를 바래, 바래

The woman, that previously called Seungdae cute, was now in utter shock. The boys movements were so smooth. He looked like he was one with the music. 

2 minutes later, Seungdae was breathing heavily. For the creative part of his audition, he made a little dance break, that mostly consisted of breakdancing.  Back in elementary school, he had a dance bttle with one of his friends once. And that's what inspired his to make a breakdance. A bit of sweat was running down his forehead. The kind woman stood up and handed him a water bottle. Seungdae bowed and the woman just nodded with a smile. Now, that the audition was over, Seungdae could finally look at the name tags of the judges. The woman's name was Lee Hanbyeol. She was the dance teacher. The man next to her, that didn't say anything at all, was called Gyu Jimin and was the vocal coach. The other two men were just some assistants. They were there to take some notes. 

Seungdae looked at the five judges that were sitting at a table in front of him. He was all sweaty and breathing heavily. He didn't expect that this would be so much more exhausting. The man in the middle, Seungdae learned that he was the CEO (by looking at the name tag) and that his name was Han Seongho, gave the boy a piercing look. "You were good. But the question is whether you were good enough..." Seungdae ran his hand through his wet hair. The judges mumbled something to each other. "We have made a decision." Seongho's voice suddenly cut through the room. "Namely..."

 He paused. „You're good. Really good. But we heard the nervousness in your voice. And you have to work on your facial expressions." Seungdae nodded with embarrassment. He wanted to look cool so badly but now he screw up. „But we also see the potential, that hides in you. You're still young. You are really good at dancing. And we want to make you the best trainee ever existed." the dance teacher, Hanbyeol, continued and offered Seungdae a warm smile. The 15 year old boy returned it, before his head comprehend the sentence she just said. „Wait! Does that mean I'm accepted??" he asked in pure shock. „Exactly." Seongho said and for the first time today, he smiled. 

Seungdae's legs suddenly felt so weak, as if they made out of gum. „Congratulations, Seungdae." the judges congratulated one by one. „T-thank you." the still shocked boy said and bowed. Now that he was officially a trainee, how would his journey continue? Would he ever debut?
