Well, the first good thing I can say is that today is the day I start this thing. Or try to even though I can't publish it yet. Still, more stuff for you to read when I do and I wanted to start as soon as possible.

I'm actually in a really good place right this second. I'm feeling much more inspired than I have been in the past week or so. It's nice, and I've got some cool stories slowly being churned into the works. I think realising that it's okay to write for myself first has really helped give me a lot of confidence I didn't have before.

I read Calvin and Hobbes earlier, the It's a Magical World collection. It was nice, and made me laugh several times. Speaking of comics, I've been trying to practice my art skills again, and I doodled all over a page of my sketchbook. One of them isn't quite finished but I've been feeling lazy so we'll see when that gets done.

What else, um, my sibling's birthday is coming up. That's cool. I made them a card (I still need to colour it) and I picked out what I think will be a really nice present for them. (It's just both DLC waves for Pokkén Tournament but they really likes that game so I think they'll enjoy that.)

That's all I can think to include for today, but I'll definitely try to update semi-consistently. I'm thinking I'll share some memes and comics that made me smile recently at some point so keep your eyes peeled for that.
