~ 3rd Person POV ~

" Love, you didn't have to plan all of this. I could have done all of this myself baby" Taehyung said as Jungkook drove them both to a fancy and expensive restaurant

" It's okay TaeTae, I love you and I want to show you how much I love you. Our relationship is equal so, we should treat each other equally " Jungkook said as looking at his boyfriend

" Baby...you're too kind for this world," Taehyung said as he grabbed his hand, caressing it softly

" No you are, so let's go before they give away our table, " Jungkook said as he got out of the car and both of them walked up to the restaurant. They walked inside and both were greeted by the servers at the front

" Hello, are you both new or have you already made a reservation?" He asked

" Yes, a table for two under the name Jeon," Jungkook said and Taehyung just watched him, wondering why he did all of this for him out of nowhere. The server nodded his head and guided the both of them to a more quiet area

" Here are the menus, someone will be here to take your order in just a few minutes," He said as he handed them their menus and walked out

" Baby, this restaurant is truly amazing," Taehyung said as he looked around. Everyone was casual, yet classy outfits, the nice jazz music being heard from all around

" I know it is....thank you for agreeing to come here, I know you were probably extremely tired from work but this was the only time-"

" No baby, don't overthink like that, no matter how much I work, I'll always have time for you. I promise " Taehyung said as he grabbed his hand and kissed it. The waitress came up to the both of them and smiled before walking away

" What are you going to order baby?" Taehyung asked as he looked at the menu. Jungkook felt a little stupid because he didn't recognize any dishes on their menu

" I-I don't know..." Jungkook said as he looked down, a little embarrassed that he made reservations for this restaurant yet, he didn't know any dishes here

" Awww baby, don't be like that. Just pick somewhere that looks good or familiar. It's not a bad thing to try something new yeah?" Taehyung said with a smile on his face

" Okay, Tae," Jungkook said with a smile looked through the menu. He smiled once he saw something on the menu that he thought that he would like

" I think I am ready to order now," Jungkook said while smiling up at him. The younger male was a nervous wreck but, he didn't want to show any of it

After all, he was going to propose to his boyfriend in a few more hours

He wanted to do this, he wanted to show his boyfriend how much he loved him and he wanted him to know how much he meant to him. Fuck, he was nervous

If Taehyung wasn't going to make the first move then Jungkook took it into his own hands and was going to do it himself

" Baby? You zoned out " Taehyung said while smiling at him. Jungkook blushed, he was thinking about what he was doing to say. Even if Taehyung did love him, so many things could go wrong 

" Hello Gentleman, what can I get the both of you?" the Lady said as she got out her notebook and pen. Jungkook was a little shy when it came to ordering things so Taehyung didn't mind going first

" I'd like the steak with mash potatoes and red sauce," Taehyung said while smiling and the waitress nodded her head and turned to Jungkook

" What about you?"

" I'd like the red wine steak with pasta on the side. Two orders of red wine please" Jungkook said as he closed the menu and smiled at the waitress. " Your food will be here in a few minutes," She said with a smile on her face. Jungkook turned his attention back to his handsome boyfriend

" This place is amazing my love," Taehyung said as he linked his hands with Jungkook's. Jungkook was hoping and praying that this whole night was going to go as planned and when they got home, he could propose to his boyfriend

" This food is an amazing baby, thank you for taking me here, I appreciate it, " Taehyung said as he looked at his boyfriend who was driving back to their house. Jungkook's palms were sweating and it was clear that he was nervous about something and Taehyung noticed it

" Baby, are you okay? It looks like you are sweating, are you okay my love? " Taehyung asked, pulling out a small tissue and patting his boyfriend's forehead. Jungkook smiled and looked over at him as they stopped at a red light

" I'm fine my love, I'm just a little nervous since you look so handsome tonight...I know our date nights are usually the opposite of what has happened but, I'm so glad you allowed me to take you out on this date " Jungkook said as he linked their hands together and Taehyung kissed it. The two males made their way home and w mind was still all over the place at the moment

" I'm going to go and get changed," Taehyung said as he kissed his boyfriend on the lips and walked upstairs. Jungkook took this opportunity to try and clear his mind and think about how he was going to propose to his boyfriend. Shit, this is was hard

He wanted this to be perfect...he didn't wanna screw anything over since this was going to be a night he would remember for the rest of his life

Jungkook took a deep breath before walking upstairs, the bedroom door was closed so he braced himself before opening the door

" Um...Taehyung? " Jungkook said as he walked into their bedroom. He had a towel in his hand because his hands were sweating like crazy because he was about to propose

" Yes, baby? What's wrong? Taehyung asked as he laid down on the bed, getting himself comfortable. Jungkook smiled a little and sat down on the bed

" Nothing is wrong...I just wanted to tell you something..." Jungkook said as he grabbed Taehyung's hand and faced him properly. Taehyung was a little confused

" We've been together for four years...I never knew that I could fall this hard for someone...I'm so glad you chose me even though you have so many other better options out there but, I'm glad that you chose me to spend the rest of your life with...I know I can get immature and jealous but that's only because I know that there are people so much better than I am..." Jungkook said, his hands caressing

Taehyung bit his bottom lip, he didn't know where Jungkook was going with all of this but, he knew the younger was having a deep conversation with him

" I want to be here with you through thick and thin...in sickness and in health...till death...." Jungkook said with a nervous look on his pretty face

" I-I guess what I'm trying to say is...will you marry me?" Jungkook asked to ask he looked his boyfriend in the eyes. Taehyung smiled widely and grabbed Jungkook and gave him a bone-crushing hug

" YES! Of course, I'll marry you Kookie" Taehyung said as he sniffed, tears already forming in his eyes, Jungkook kissed his tears away and hugged him. Jungkook had felt like he has the world in his hands once Taehyung said yes

" I love you so much Taehyung...."
