The jungle had an eerie ambiance to it. After a while, it returned to its former glory after the Sky People left back to Earth. It almost felt easy. Too easy. It was as if the gruesome battle to defeat the Sky People had wafted from the Omaticaya's memories and they were living in peace once again. But, truthfully, that event never left people's consciences even months later after its occurrence.

The forest of Pandora holds many dangers. But the most dangerous thing about Pandora, is that you may grow to love her too much.

You were crouching and preying beneath the branches and palm trees of the jungle, camouflaging your body completely as you held your father's bow tightly in your grasp. The grass felt soft beneath your feet, and the sounds that filled the air were mingled with chattering animals, the rustling of leaves, and branches breaking beneath your feet with every single step you took.

When you had your target in sight, you stood up and aimed your arrow directly at the Hexapede you were hunting. It could feed you and Jake for the next few days if you rationed it correctly. Before releasing your arrow, you inhaled and exhaled softly.

Pulling back the bow, ready to release it, your swollen belly that had grown bigger over the last few months made it a bit hard to keep accuracy. Positioning yourself better despite your growing stomach, you released your bow and it landed on the animal. It killed it as you hoped, but the accuracy was lacking.

As soon as the arrow hit the animal, a small headache resurfaced in your head, but it only lasted a few seconds. Your hair also lit up before dimming back to how it usually is. Heading over the animal, you proceeded to pull out your dagger and stab it on its side, praying and thanking Eywa for the food she and the animal itself provided.

Jake didn't know you were out hunting. He had been so busy with Olo'eyktan duties, but even so, he always found time for you. He insisted you stayed in the village and rest since your due date for the baby could be any day now, but you refused. You didn't want to feel useless while he shouldered all of your burdens. You hoped that you could go back to the village unseen, bringing your kill with you.

As you dragged back your kill with you, the village close to the Tree of Souls was coming into sight. While continuing to pull the Hexapede, you suddenly felt a sharp pain in your abdomen, making you stumble slightly and land on your knees. You hissed and panted softly, placing a gentle hand on your belly ignoring the pain, and continuing to walk.

Before you could reach your hut, Neytiri came rushing towards you. She saw how you stumbled from afar, holding your stomach. To her, that could only mean one thing. "Y/n! What are you doing all on your own out there? You're supposed to be resting," Neytiri scolded, moving to stand in front of you with her arms crossed so you couldn't walk further.

"Neytiri, I'm okay. I was hunting," You explain, gesturing to the animal in your grasp. She noticed the slightly pained and uncomfortable expression on your face.

"You shouldn't be moving around so much. The baby should be arriving any day now. You cannot be so reckless. What if you were in labor in the middle of the forest, alone, with no one to help? You need to stay in the village" Neytiri countered, seeing you move to start walking past her. "The baby is okay, Neytiri. And so am I-" You said, but were cut off by an even sharper and more prominent kick of pain.

Your knees buckled and you landed in a crouched position. Neytiri's eyes widened and she was immediately by your side, worried at your look of discomfort mixed with struggle. When you fell, you dropped the Hexapede and held your stomach with both hands, as your breathing started to become labored.

"Sister, I think it's time..." Neytiri said, and you looked at her with shock. You knew that your due was arriving soon, but today? That was the last thing you expected when you woke up this morning. You had been so focused on trying to be useful that you forgot to prepare for this.

You wordlessly nodded and let your sister take you back to the village. The pain stopped momentarily, but you knew it would come back again, and hopefully, you would be with Jake by the time that happened. Your sister held you by your waist as you held onto her arm.

To avoid having too much attention drawn to yourselves, given that you were most likely in early labor, you took a detour and were able to reach the hut that you shared with Jake. Neytiri laid you down on a mat and helped you get settled while she went to get Mo'at and Jake. They needed to be here if this was truly the moment that your baby would be born.

"Keep steady breathing, Y/n. I'll be right back," Neytiri said, leaving you alone in your hut to inhale and exhale, feeling pains come and go every few minutes. It was tough and arduous, but you got the hang of it.

A few minutes later, Jake came rushing through the hut and sat right next to you. Neytiri and Mo'at came after him. He kneeled by your side and placed a hand on your cheek, rubbing his thumb on your cheekbone.

"Baby, are you okay? Is the baby alright? Are you hurt? I came here as fast as I could" Jake said with worry and hurriedly, checking your face. You panted softly, and nodded with a weak smile, adjusting your body slightly on the mat you sat on. Neytiri and Mo'at sat on your other side, sharing looks of worry and concern. If the baby was coming now, they needed to get preparations as soon as possible.

"Yes, I am okay. I'm just a bit tired," You said, in denial that the baby was coming and at the same time, trying to diminish his worries. He knew you were trying to lie for his sake, but if your expression full of struggle and pain told him anything, is that the baby is coming today.

Jake placed a hand on your belly, softly rubbing circles on it to relieve your discomfort altogether. You had been carrying this baby for months, and from the start, he had always done his best to do what he could to repay what an amazing feat you've done for him and you to start building your family. You placed your hand over his and smiled at your mate, grateful that he was here with you.

Mo'at and Neytiri looked at each other, wordlessly agreeing to give you and Jake some space for a few minutes. Your mother was also going to start preparing for the birth of your child, knowing that it could happen at any time at this point. Neytiri followed close behind your mother and assisted her with everything.

Back with you and Jake, he proceeded to lower his head and peppered your belly with soft kisses that made you giggle the feeling. It made the pain go away, and you could breathe a bit properly. From the way Jake was starting to position himself behind you, with your back pressed to his chest as you lay back on him, you knew that he was there to stay as much as you needed it.

You turned your head on your side, pressing your ear to his chest. You could feel his heartbeat at a steady rhythm, relaxing you. Your breathing was still a bit labored, but that's why Jake proceeded to grab both of your hands in his and intertwined them together, holding them tightly so that you had something to grip and hold onto during this time.

"Jake," You murmured, and he hummed in response, letting you know you could continue. "Do you think the Sky People will ever come back? What do we do then, if they return? We have a family now. They could be in danger," You whispered, just enough for him to hear. You could feel Jake tense behind you, and he began to run his hands up and down your arms as he detached his hands from yours.

"If they do, and they try to get to our family, they'll have to go through me first. You're my priority. Our family is my priority. I promise" He said, turning his head to place a kiss on your head, moving the hand that was on your arm, over to your belly to rub it soothingly.

Although you believed his words, you had a strong feeling deep inside you that there was a threat, bigger than before, approaching and that it will be harder than before to survive. You turned your head to look up at Jake, and he looked down at you, moving his hand to tuck your hair behind your ear.

"Okay..." You said, trusting his words. He was right. The Sky People were gone, and the Omaticay were safe. But how long would that last? This new life felt easy, but maybe a little too much. You couldn't help but worry. Either way, you had faith in your husband. You wouldn't let him fight alone, because you'll be by his side through it all. As he always said, 'Sully's stick together', and you stuck by that.

"Trust me, Y/n. We'll be alright." He whispered leaning down to press your forehead against his. You smiled at his sweet gesture and his words, trying deep down not to let your worries plague the beautiful moment about to happen very soon. You knew that today was the day.
You leaned your head upwards to kiss his cheek and then his lips. You parted away far too early for liking, but he knew that you were vulnerable and weak right now, so he didn't want to cause you discomfort.

Neytiri had also told Jake how you had been hunting out on your own when you were instructed to continue to rest inside the safety of the village but he would talk to you about that some other time. What you needed right now was comfort and somebody to get you through this. He knew how frustrated you could get about that topic, so talking about it now would only cause you unnecessary stress, and the baby as well. Having that conversation was the last thing on his mind.

He could not imagine how much you had in your mind right now. Whether it was to escape your negative thoughts, worries about the Sky People returning, the baby, and everything in between. The pain you're enduring is something he couldn't even fathom, so he admired you for how strong you were.

If he thought about it, he understood why you left on your own. Even so, he would've wanted to be there with you so there wasn't a risk of you being in labor by yourself, so he couldn't be mad at you for that. The Sky People were gone, but the forest was dangerous, and he didn't doubt that you could protect yourself, but being pregnant was certainly a factor as to how you could end up getting hurt a lot easier.

Jake spent the rest of the day with you. He was needed for Olo'eyktan duties, but he sent those away who came into his hut to have orders given out and told them he would talk to them later. His wife was in active labor and there wasn't anything more important than that.

Later that night, Jake was still sitting behind you. He had gotten up momentarily to set up a fire, but then came back to his spot. He had been relieving every kick and sharp pain that you got, and the contractions were starting to come closer together. They came in intervals, and Jake soothed you, trying to get your mind off of it during and after them.

You sat against him, and Jake had fallen asleep behind you with his head tipped back and his arms still around you. On the other hand, while the fire Jake had started was still burning in front of you, giving you warmth, you held your song cord beads and began to sing.

"Lie si oe Neteyamur, Nawma Sa'nokur mìfa oeyä. Atanti ngal molunge, Mipa tìreyti, mipa 'itanti. Lawnol a mì te'lan. Lawnol a mì te'lan. Ngaru irayo seiyi ayoe Tonìri tìreyä. Ngaru irayo seiyi ayoe Srrìri tìreyä. Ma Eywa, ma Eywa" (I experience Neteyam, and the Great Mother, within me. You brought light, new life, a new son. Great joy within my heart. Great joy within my heart. We thank you for the nights of our life. We thank you for the days of our lives. Oh, Eywa. Oh, Eywa.) You sang softly, feeling Jake's arms tighten around you, making you smile at his gesture.

We sing the song chords to remember. Each bead, a story in our life. A bead for the birth of our son.

Turns out that your labor was a lot more prolonged than you thought. You had been feeling discomfort all night, and you barely got sleep, but Jake made the situation bearable. The next day, he proceeded to guide you around the village for a walk, to calm your nerves, then took you back to your hut and helped you settle back in the mat. He was attentive, thoughtful, and helpful in every way.

As Jake was preparing lunch and getting the fire started, a sharp pain, even more, painful than before, struck your abdomen, making you cry out. Jake stopped what he was doing, dropped the items in his hands, and immediately rushed to you. You started to breathe heavily again, a lot more intensely than the day before and it was excruciating.

"Y/n. What's wrong? Fuck, are you alright?" He asked, not hesitating to hold you closer to him. You let out a hiss as another strike of pain hit you, so you tightened your grip around Jake's hand, but he didn't mind it at all. He was focused on you and only you.

"Jake, I think it's time," You struggled to say, and he was in shock for a moment, but then he nodded and he tried to get you to inhale and exhale accordingly. You grabbed his hand and held it tightly, trying to breathe through the pain. Jake proceeded to call Mo'at and Neytiri, telling them that it was finally time.

He whispered sweet words into your ear, moving to sit behind you like he was the day before. He could tell that you needed as much contact with him so that you could get through it and hold his hand during the labor.

Eventually, Mo'at arrived with Neytiri holding everything that they would need for the birth of your baby. You smiled at the sight of your mother and sister, feeling even more comforted, knowing you'll make it through this. You were surrounded by everyone you loved, and that was more than enough to give you the strength you needed.

Your mother was still Tsahik, and Neytiri knew sufficient knowledge to help with the labor as well. Everything was set up and Jake was still behind you, prepared to get you through it. Soon enough, it was time to push and you did. Tears gathered in your eyes, streaming down your face at how painful it felt, but Jake gripped your hands and gave you words of encouragement to keep going. If you were being honest, at some points, it was so hard that you felt like you were about to pass out.

Mo'at eventually told you it was over, finished delivering your child, and released a small blue baby, holding it up for you to see. It was a beautiful baby boy. He was still crying, but the sight of a being that was made by you and Jake brought you to tears as you smiled. "Good job, my love," Jake whispered in your ear, kissing the side of your head. He looked at his son with love and affection, not believing his son was truly here.

Your mother handed your baby to you and you cradled it in your arms while Jake looked over your shoulder. As soon as your son was placed in your arms, he stopped crying and cooed softly as he looked up at you and Jake. He had so many of Jake's features, he didn't have eyebrows like his father but had four fingers as you did. He was a perfect mix of you and Jake, and happy tears still streamed down your face at the sight of your son right there laying in your arms peacefully.

He had bright yellow eyes that inspected you and Jake curiously, and his blue stripes were quite unique as well. The baby giggled, recognizing his parents in front of him.

"Hi," You said, sniffling with a smile gracing your features. You were beyond tired, but it didn't matter to you when someone so special, that you had been waiting so long for, was in your arms right now at last.

"I see you. I love you so much already," You whispered to your son, then looked up at Jake who was still looking at his son lovingly. He couldn't take his eyes off him. Jake was just too happy at that moment about becoming a father that he couldn't form any words at all.

While your baby was still calm, and before he started crying again, you and Jake took your turns to attach your queues to your son. This was a way to create a life-long bond between father and son, as well as mother and son. It would soon be time for the baby to do the same with the Tree of Souls to connect with Eywa, but it was all in due time.

You passed the baby to Jake, and he immediately got comfortable in the embrace of his father. You turned slightly in place so that you could lean against his shoulder, watching the exchange between a father and his son.

The baby reached its hand up and grabbed Jake's face making him laugh, and in turn, the baby giggle and kicked its feet happily. "Hello. I'm so glad you're finally here little one. We've been waiting for you," Jake said while his son focused his bright yellow eyes on the man holding him, smiling up at his dad.

Jake turned to look at you, and smiled, kissing your forehead, prompting a smile to appear on your lips."He's perfect, isn't he?" Jake whispered against your hair, butterflies erupt in your stomach while looking at your son.

After that, you and Jake spent the entire day bonding and spending time with your newborn son. Mo'at and Neytiri gave the new parents some much-needed space to rest. When he was asleep, you couldn't help but stare at him, missing him, even if he was right there.

Jake had built a crib himself from scratch, and that was what the baby was sleeping with at the moment. He had insisted that since you had been carrying their son for months, the least he could do was build the crib himself. He wanted to do that for you and so much more.

A few days later, there was a ritual where the entire Omaticaya clan was gathered to celebrate the welcoming of you and Jake's son. The People stood in a circle, singing in harmony, while you and Jake stood in the center with Mo'at. Jake had the accessories every Olo'eyktan has to wear on special occasions. Jake held his son in his hands, proceeding to lift him in the air, while you held hands with your sister and your mother.

With so much happiness and joy, you beamed at your husband lifting your son in the air. You couldn't help but let your hand come upon your lips, failing to cover the smile you had on your face. This was such a special moment, and you soaked up every second, not wanting to forget this part of your son's life.

"Neteyam!" Jake announced as an introduction of your son to the Omaticaya. Light from the sky and through the tree canopies beamed down on the baby, and after hearing its name, the baby giggled happily.

"Neteyam!" The People chanted back, accepting the baby as the new addition to their clan. They would take care of him as their own and treat Neteyam as their equal.

Shortly after Neteyam was born, there was one more addition to the family, so you and Jake welcomed it with open arms. Some nights after that, you sat in your hut that you shared with Jake and passed your fingers through the song chord beads as you sang.

"Zola'u nìprrte', ma Kiri. Ngati oel munge soaiane. Lie si oe atanur, pähem parul, tì'ongokx ahuta. Lawnol a mì te'lan. Lawnol a mì te'lan. Ngaru irayo seiyi ayoe Tonìri tìreyä. Ngaru irayo seiyi ayoe Srrìri tìreyä. Ma Eywa, ma Eywa" (Welcome, Kiri. I bring you to the family. I experience the light, a miracle arrives an unexpected birth. Great joy within my heart. We thank you for the nights of our life. We thank you for the days of our lives. Oh, Eywa. Oh, Eywa) You sang, continuing to go through your song cord beads.

A bead when we adopted our daughter, Kiri, born of Grace's Avatar. A daughter whose conception was a total mystery.

Back when Grace passed before the attack on the Tree of Souls, her Avatar form stayed in a comatose state up until now. She was put in one of those same tanks that Jake and Norm's Avatars were in when he arrived at Pandora. When it was found out that Grace was pregnant, she has been preserved there ever since. Her Avatar body floated in the tank, and soon enough, she gave birth to Kiri.

When Kiri was born, an instant connection was created between the two of you. You could feel a strong connection between her and Eywa that felt inexplicable to you. What you knew, is that she was going to grow up to be strong and wise. She was a miracle and a gift from Eywa.

Shortly after Kiri was born, you and Jake brought her back to the village.  That night while you nursed Neteyam as he fed, Jake held Kiri in his arms and he let her grab his finger with her tiny ones. Jake smiled softly at this gesture from his daughter. She was exactly like Grace, both in appearance and in spirit. It was clear as day. What made her stand out, was that Kiri had five fingers, unlike you and Neteyam.

A bead for the first communion with Eywa. The People say we live in Eywa, and Eywa lives in us. The Great Mother holds all her children in her heart.

The entire clan was gathered around the Tree of Souls to witness Kiri and Neteyam being bonded with Eywa. You held your son, while Jake held his daughter, holding them up to connect their queues to the tree. While you and Jake held your children, Mo'at assisted to connect their queues to the vines, glowing at the connection and bond being formed.

Your hair glowed brightly at the approval of Eywa, welcoming her new children into the world and to the clan. It was a joyous occasion, and the children giggled with joy at the feeling of being bonded to their deity. Their connections are stronger than ever now, and they will continue to grow every single day.

A few years passed, and Jake and you had another child. Your son, who you name Lo'ak. He was close in age to Neteyam. He also had 5 fingers, just like his dad. As your family continued to grow, your lives were filled with laughter and happiness that seemed endless.

Sitting in your hut up, you and your children played. They all laughed and giggled, making your heart beam with bliss. This was the life you've always dreamed of, and now that it's happening, it's even better than you imagined.

Jake laughed and mimicked the sound of an Ikran in flight as he held Neteyam in his arms and into the air, giving his son the illusion he was flying. "Neteyam, the mighty warrior! He faces the big Ikrans and tames one with bravery and strength!" Jake exclaimed dramatically for his son.

"Mama! I've conquered an Ikran! I'm going to be the greatest hunter!" Neteyam laughed, feeling the wind in his hair as his father guided him through the air. Lo'ak and Kiri giggled at the sight, running up to you to beg you to play with them as well.

"My brave hunter! Look at you go!" You praised Neteyam, laughing as Jake continued to play and entertain his son.

As per Kiri and Lo'ak's request, you stood up and started running around the hut as you flapped your arms to impersonate the ones of an Ikran. Your children giggled as they began to run after you and copy what you were doing, having the time of their young lives. Kiri chased after you with a Toruk Makto toy made out of bamboo, moving it up and down as if it was flying for real.

Lo'ak had found a toy of a wooden Pa'li on the floor, and he was playing with it as you continued to run around with Kiri. You and your daughter made chirping and yipping noises, just like a banshee would. She did whatever you did, impersonating an Ikran. It was truly an endearing sight for Jake as he watched you and your children play.

Happiness is simple. But who would've thought a jarhead like me would crack the code?

As time went by, you and Jake began to see their unique personalities form. They had their personal judgment, and opinions, and were incredibly smart. You and Jake adored each one of them. You couldn't imagine your life without a single one of your children.

Your kids quickly discovered that they loved to play down by the river. They loved it when Jake played with them, building stories, and creating some of their own, which they loved to reenact with the nature that surrounded them.

"And then came Toruk Makto!" Jake said with a scary voice, splashing the water on his kids as they ran around on the banks of the river with contagious laughter and smiles. They squealed, running away, but coming back around to continue playing, fully into the story their father was telling them.

You really wanted to play with them, but being pregnant for the third time was no piece of cake, so you sat by the shore and watched with amusement as your husband played with the kids. Your belly was getting bigger and bigger every single day, and you couldn't wait to welcome your fourth child into the world.

Eventually, the family you and Jake had wanted so badly, and for so long, was finally complete. You wouldn't want it any other way. Your daughter, Tuktirey, or Tuk, was born, and everything was absolutely perfect.

She was just a small infant compared to her siblings, but while you held and cradled her in your arms, your family of six huddled together in your hut, telling stories, and laughing. Tuk was incredibly perceptive and curious. She paid attention to every detail around her, and you loved that about her.

As the family of six was huddled together in their hut in the trees, Jake and Y/n continued to retell the story to their kids of how they met. The children never got tired of listening to it.

"I followed your father across the forest as he was being chased by a big and scary Palulukan. Your father jumped into the waterfall, and by then, he had to fend for himself in the Pandoran jungle" You explained to your children, giving your voice an intriguing tone, making your kids all have invested expressions plastered on their faces as they listened intently.

"After it became nighttime, he was defending himself fearlessly against a pack of Viperwolves. I decided to step in and help your father. I saved him and then brought him back to our home to teach him the ways of our people. That's how we met" You continued to tell the story, and Jake looked at you fondly as he recalled how he instantly fell in love with you the moment he laid eyes on you. But he wouldn't say that out loud, because his kids would tease him.

"When I first met your father, I tried to kill him" You concluded the story with a teasing expression, and your children all laughed.

"It was love at first sight," Jake confessed, tucking his head into the crook of your neck, placing a small kiss on your nape, and resting his head on your shoulder, laughing with you.

You and your family continued to rehash stories and even asked for a re-tell of the same story of how you met Jake. They just couldn't get enough of it, and who were you to deny them that? Certainly not.

Before I knew it, we had four. When we sent the Sky People back to Earth, only a few of them stayed. Science guys, loyal to the Na'vi. And then there was Spider.

Inside the RDA base that was now filled with scientists who were loyal to the Omaticaya and agreed to be on their side, there was a small toddler with blond curls running around the lab. He had nothing but a diaper on, running wild around every corner of the base.

"Spider!" A female scientist exclaimed, catching the child and lifting him in her arms, preventing him from running loose.

He was just stuck here. Too young for a Cryocapsule. He was orphaned by the war and raised by the lab guys.

One day, Spider was antsy to go into the village and see his friends. Which are your children. Norm was preparing the small human boy to go out, but he was too impatient, grabbed an oxygen mask himself, opened the door, and ran out down the path that lead to the village.

"Spider! Take your spare!" Norm called out, holding onto an extra mask in his grasp, aside from the one the boy was already wearing.

"I'm just going to the village!" He called out, running faster and into the jungle. Norm sighed with frustration and closed the door, walking back inside the lab. Spider continued to run as fast as his feet could take him, knowing the way to the village by heart.

He wasn't part of our family. He was like a stray cat that was just always around. Inseparable from our kids.

As your children played in the river with Spider, you and Jake sat at a tree nearby to supervise. You were sitting against Jake, with your back pressed to his chest. He had his arms wrapped around your waist, keeping you close.

Even though Jake had accepted Spider, you were still incredibly wary of the human boy. You didn't know why, but you couldn't trust him at all. If he made your children happy, then so be it, but it would take a while for you to get used to having Spider around.

You just felt protective of your children, especially around humans you weren't accustomed to. The only humans you trusted were the ones who helped you and Jake in battle and stayed behind. Not just of Spider, but you were still suspicious of many of the Sky People, no matter how loyal they claimed to be to your people.

Spider was the closest with Kiri and Lo'ak, practically joined at the hip. Kiri and Spider were hissing at each other, playfully of course, and the human boy grabbed onto Lo'ak's tail. They all splashed around in the water, playing, while you and Jake watched from afar.

You realized you were just feeling paranoid, and you needed to relax, so that was what Jake was trying to do. He felt you tense up, so he began to run his hands up and down your arms while simultaneously watching over his kids.

To Y/n, he would always be alien. Foreign. One of them. Of the Sky People.

"He belongs with his own kind," Y/n turned her head to look back at her husband. After finishing your sentence, you turned your head back to look at your children play, and have fun. They were playfully jumping and piling on top of one another, pulling each other's tails, with laughter loudly resonating from them.

After nightfall arrived and it began to lightly drizzle in the forest, Spider went back to base and you and your family gathered together in the hut up in the trees. You were cradling Tuk while Neteyam sat right beside you to keep you company. Jake was sitting nearby, watching Kiri and Lo'ak fight over their Toruk Makto figure made out of wood. They continued to pull it back and forth, endlessly fighting.

"It's mine! I had it first!" Lo'ak yelled at Kiri, who gripped the toy tighter, pulling it back to her. She refused to give it up.

"Why do I have to give it to you?" Kiri shouted back, gripping the toy as much as she could Lo'ak continued to argue with her sister over it, holding it just as tight. "It's mine!" He yelled back, pulling it harder.

"Lo'ak, you liar! Give it to me!" Kiri yelled, not giving up their toy easily. They yelled and screamed at each other.

It took me a few years to get the language through my thick skull. But now when I hear it, might as well be English.

"I hate you!" Lo'ak yelled at Kiri, and this only seemed to fire up his sister with annoyance.

"I hate you times infinity, Lo'ak! Penis face!" Kiri yelled at him, prompting a high pitched scream from Lo'ak directly in her face. After hearing this, Jake decided to finally step in.

"Hey! Hey! That's enough. Don't make me come over there," Jake said sternly, so Kiri and Lo'ak looked at each other and both dropped the toy begrudgingly, walking separately.

Seeing this happen, you let a small smirk grace your lips. It was amusing to see Jake be so stern with the kids, but he was a good father nonetheless. The best one at that. He never left any of them behind, paid attention to what they liked and what they didn't like, their individual personalities, and was incredibly understanding with anything they needed.

Jake was the most connected and bonded with Neteyam. Not only because he was the firstborn and formed a relationship with his son the moment he came into the world, but because Neteyam reminded him so much of himself in many ways. Lo'ak as well.

One day, you took your kids, except for Neteyam, over to visit Mo'at and Neytiri. Jake wanted to stay with his oldest son, to spend time with him, and hopefully teach him a few things that could help him slowly become the warrior he wants to be.

Jake stood behind Neteyam as he helped him angle his bow and arrow accurately at a fish swimming on the banks of the pond. Jake instructed his son to speak softly to not spook and scare away the fish.

"He's gonna come out from behind those big rocks. Yeah, there he is," Jake whispered, helping his son aim his arrow by moving his arm accordingly to the right angle.

Trusting what he has learned, Neteyam let go of the arrow and it hit the fish exactly where he wanted it to. It struck the fish, and Jake cheered and praised his son.

"There you go! Go get it! Yeah!" Jake patted his son's back as Neteyam smiled, jumping into the pond and pulling out his arrow with the fish impaled at the other end. "Neteyam, the mighty fisherman," Jake praised, watching his son hold up the fish that he caught, which was still wiggling and squirming at the end of the arrow. Neteyam laughed, feeling pretty proud of himself for what he accomplished.

"Wow, that's a big one" Jake smiled, kneeling to his son's level to observe the fish he caught. It was a pretty good catch. Neteyam was quickly improving and Jake couldn't be prouder of his son.

"By the rocks. Right where you said," Neteyam said, smiling up at his dad. The small Na'vi boy pulled the arrow from the fish, looking up to face the proud smile his father had on his face.

Unknown to them, you had gotten back from dropping off the kids with your mother and now stood nearby watching your husband and son interact. It filled your heart with pride and you couldn't help but beam at how close they were getting. Neteyam was growing up so fast.

By the time Jake and Neteyam had gone back up to the hut up in the trees, Spider had arrived to hang out with his friends. Jake was marking Neteyam's height on a bamboo pole, with all of the kids watching with curiosity. He was getting taller every day and reaching new achievements. You and Jake beamed with pride. All of your children had their own individual milestones that made them special, and you celebrated all of them.

"How tall is he?" Lo'ak asked, watching his father mark a line on the bamboo above Neteyam's head with his knife.

"He's...that tall" Jake said, finishing up the carving and stepping back to let his kids see the difference between his previous height. All children laughed as they compared each other's height poles. Each of them had one as well.

Goes by too fast. Like a dream.

Time had passed them before they knew it, and it had been 14 years since their family began. Jake had an idea and he thought it'd be a good idea to take a new family photo. Tuk was a bit grown up, as so were Neteyam, Lo'ak, and Kiri, who had officially become teenagers.

Jake gathered up Neteyam and Lo'ak while you brought Kiri and Tuk into the frame. Kiri, who was now a typical teenage girl, rolled her eyes as you pulled her close so she could be in the picture. Tuk didn't hesitate to go into her father's side and embrace, staying close to him.

"Kiri," You laughed softly, seeing Kiri walking begrudgingly into the frame. It was just who she is, and you loved her either way. "Mom..." She groaned, dragging out the word.

You placed your arm around Lo'ak's back while Neteyam's hand wrapped around his brother's back. "Come here, bro," Lo'ak said to his brother, trying to get Neteyam to settle into the picture before the automatic camera clicked.

"Smile, skxawng!" Neyetam said with a bright smile, making everyone laugh. After that, the flash went off and the picture was taken. Kiri was still rolling her eyes and had an annoyed look on her face, but even so, it made you laugh. As you looked at each of your children, they all had different expressions and smiles that showed how unique each one of them was.
