Cece was raised in a single-parent household. Her father took care of her and her little sister on his own the best that he could, he managed what he could but he worked for most of his day leaving the girls to for themselves when he wasn't around. Cece became very self-sufficient at a young age and essentially parentified, taking care of her sister's needs, and such. It only got worse when she got older when she started to do more than necessary for her little sister. Honestly, the only time she was able to act like her age was when she met her high school sweetheart...that was pretty much it. Which is probably why she was so quick to leave him when she graduated because she couldn't do it anymore.
