Aelin's appearance is typically a very offputting one. Not many really like to approach her often, though the reality is. She isn't a bad person, she is a nice girl. She is a cheerful one who just so happens to enjoy talking to others. Though she may be nice to others often, doesn't mean she won't talk back to you. She will. She isn't afraid to stand up for herself or hurt someone for trying to hurt her. She doesn't care. If people want to keep treating her any certain way, she will treat you the same way back. She has no issue fighting back against anyone. She is very vocal about her likes and dislikes. She doesn't like to take things to heart often, and she tends not to. She is a hard worker, skilled and intelligent.

Aelin was a victim of the Chronorift Catastrophe. She has a really hard time remembering anything, and she can't tell you much about that day even if you tried to force her to speak about it. Though she had also been involved in a study, she had become a test subject without realizing it and it was ILLEGAL. This study involved a modified Protocore, known as an "Aether Core", fused in her heart. Due to this, later on, becoming a hunter was difficult, seeing that she had a 'heart condition'. She was dedicated to training, studying, and doing everything possible to get to the goal that she wanted to achieve, which she did.

‣her heart condition are not the only medical concern about her, she has horns from her head that are considered a deformity. She disguises them by turning them into an accessory, by making them seem like a headband.
