Isaac looked down at Brooke as she shuffled closer to him. She had been practically glued to him since he'd woken up. Which he couldn't complain about.
Isaac knew he'd worried her. It wasn't the first time he had left her high and dry without much explanation. Only this time, she knew he had a reason.
"I'm not going anywhere." He chuckles
"You never know."
Isaac's face softens as she tucks her head into his neck, "I'm sorry I just disappeared like that. Derek wanted to try and fix it before anyone figured it out."
"I know. I get it."
"No more secrets." He mutters into her hair, "I promise."
Brooke sits up and leans on her elbow. She squints down at him, "And if Derek wants you to go on some top secret mission?"
"You'll be the first person I tell."
Brooke tilts her head, "That would make you, like, the worst spy ever."
A smile spreads across his face. His hand cups her jaw and he pulls her down into a kiss. Brooke instantly melts into it. Isaac pulls away, but doesn't go far at all.
"I love you."
Brooke's eyes flicker up to his and a small smile spreads across her face, "I love you."

"I don't see anything." Derek mutters. Allison rolls her eyes as she and Lydia hold their arms out to him.
"Look again." Scott says
"How is a bruise gonna tell me where Boyd and Erica are?"
"It's the same on both sides. Exactly the same."
"It's nothing."
"Pareidolia." Lydia says
As the others turn to her, Brooke sighs, "Seeing patterns that aren't there. It's a subset of apophenia."
"They're trying to help." Scott tries
"These two." Derek says with raised brows, "This one, who used me to resurrect my psychotic Uncle. Thank you." He says to Lydia before turning to Allison, "And this one, who shot about 30 arrows into me and my pack." He then looks over at Brooke, "Your boyfriend being one of them."
"Okay, all right, now, come on." Stiles says, "No one died, all right? Look, there may have been a little maiming, okay, a little mangling, but no death. That's what I call an important distinction."
"My mother died." Allison says
"Your family's little honor code killed your mother. Not me." Derek says
"That girl was looking for Scott. I'm here to help him, not you."
"You wanna help? Find something real." He says before walking off toward the door. Scott follows him.
Stiles turns to Brooke and huffs, "So much for that."

"Okay, what would a pack of alphas want with Erica and Boyd?" Stiles asks as he, Brooke, and Scott walk to class together.
"It's probably not Derek that they want." Brooke says
"Okay, what, like Derek? Like they're recruiting?" He says before the two stop noticing Scott wasn't following them, "Hey, Scott. You coming?"
Brooke frowns as he turns back around to them. He simply walks ahead without another word. Stiles and Brooke share a look of confusion before following him.

Brooke sat at a table in the library with her books out in front of her. Her free period consisted of trying to figure out what the alpha pack wanted with Derek and what the bruises on Allison and Lydia's arms could've meant. She had a drawing of what she remembered the bruises looked like next to her.
Although, she could've walked across the room to actually look at the bruise, what Derek said, stuck with her. She hadn't really gotten over the fact that Allison hurt someone she deeply cared about. Their relationship hadn't really been the same since even before Derek pointed out what he did.
"Hi."
Brooke looks up and smiles, "Hey, Leia, right?"
"Yeah." She smiles, "I was wondering if you'd mind me sitting here."
"No, not at all."
"Thank you." Leia says before sitting in the seat across from her and setting her bag beside her. Leia looks down at Brooke's papers, "What are you studying for?"
Brooke looks down at her papers, "Oh, just, uh, doing something for my brother."
"Oh." Leia says with a slight frown, "That looks a little bit like the logo for Beacon Hills bank."
"What?"
"Your drawing." Leia says before looking down into her bag and digging through it, "It kind of looks like their logo."
Brooke frowns before turning to her computer. When she typed the bank name in, the logo came up immediately. Brooke eyes Leia as the girl wrote in her notebook.

Brooke leaned against the table as Derek, Stiles, and Scott dumped the ice into the water. Isaac walked back in with Deaton at his side, "Exactly. You'll be half transformed. It'll let us access your subconscious mind."
"How slow does his heart rate need to be?" Brooke asks as Isaac kneels beside the tub
"Very slow." Deaton nods
"Okay, well, how slow is very slow?" Derek asks
"Nearly dead."
Brooke's face falls as Isaac dips his finger in and immediately pulls away. He looks up at Deaton, "It's safe, though, right?"
"Do you want me to answer honestly?"
"No. No, not really."
The group looks up at the sound of a rubber glove snapping. Stiles looks over at them while wiggling his fingers, "What?"
When he gets no response, he rips the glove off of his hand. Isaac stands back up with a deep sigh.
"Look, if it feels too risky, you don't have to do this." Derek says as Scott nods along. Isaac looks over at them before looking back at Brooke. The uncertainty in her eyes made his stomach twist, but he knew that it was probably the only way to figure out where Erica and Boyd were.
He turned back toward the tub and took his shirt off. He tossed it on the table behind him and looked down at the water. With another deep sigh, he slowly climbed into the tub. He gasps as he sat down in the tub. His grip tightened around the edges.
Scott and Derek then placed their hands on his shoulders and pushed him down. Water splashed at their feet as they full submerged him. Then, Isaac began to fight against them. He rose back out the water with a roar. His eyes now a golden yellow.
"Get him back under." Deaton says as Stiles grabs Isaac's ankles, "Hold him."
"We're trying!" Derek snaps as he and Scott struggled against him. After a few seconds, Isaac stopped fighting and his body slowly floated above the water. And that made Brooke's heart race.
"Now, remember, only I talk to him. Too many voices will confuse him and draw him out." Deaton says quietly, "Isaac? Can you hear me?"
"Yes. I can hear you."
"This is Dr. Deaton. I'd like to ask you a few questions. Is that all right?"
"Yes."
"I want to ask you about the night you found Erica and Boyd. I want you to remember it for me in as vivid detail as possible, like you're actually there again."
"I, I don't wanna do that. I don't..." He whimpers. Brooke's heart breaks at the fear in his voice. Everyone else looks around as the lights flicker, "I don't wanna do that. I don't wanna do that."
"Isaac, it's all right. Just relax. They're just memories. You can't be hurt by a memory."
"I don't wanna do that." He says as Derek and Scott reach over and hold him down again
"It's all right."
"I don't wanna do that."
"Relax. Relax." Deaton says, "Good. Now let's go back to that night. To the place you found Erica and Boyd. Can you tell me what you see? Is there some kind of building? A house?"
"It's not... it's not a house. It's stone. I think marble."
"That's perfect. Can you give me any other descriptors?"
"It's dusty, so empty."
"Like an abandoned building?" Deaton asks as the lights begin to flicker again, "Isaac? Isaac?"
"Someone's here." He says as his hand comes out and grabs Scott's arm, "Someone's here."
"Isaac, relax."
"No, no, no, they see me, they see me!" He says thrashing around
"Just memories. You won't be hurt by your memories. Just relax. Relax. Good." Deaton says as Scott and Derek release their grip on him, "Now tell us what you see. Tell us everything."
Isaac's eyes flutter open, "I hear him. He's talking about the full moon, about being out of control when the moon rises."
"Is he talking to Erica?"
"I think so, I can't... I can't see her, I ca... I can't... I can't see either of them."
"Can you hear anything else?"
"They're worried. They're worried what they'll do during the moon. They're...Worried that they're gonna hurt each other."
"If they're locked in together on the full moon, they're gonna tear each other apart." Derek mutters
"Isaac, we need to find them right now. Can you see them?" Deaton says
"No."
"Do you know what kind of room it is? Is there any kind of a marker? A number on a door? A sign?"
Isaac sits up with a gasp. Derek quickly grabs his shoulder, "They're here. They... They..."
"It's all right." Deaton says as Derek pushes Isaac back down
"No."
"Just tell us..."
"They see me. They found me. They're here!"
"This isn't working." Derek says, "Isaac, where are you?"
"I can't see them. It's too dark!"
"Just tell me where you are."
"You are confusing him." Deaton says
"Derek." Brooke calls out
"I can't see!"
"Isaac, where are you? Just tell me where you are." Derek says
"His heart rate... he could go into shock." Deaton says
"Derek, let him go!" Scott says
"Derek, stop!" Brooke yells
"Isaac, where are you? What did you see?" Derek says
"A vault!" Isaac yells as he sits up. His eyes bounce around as he comes out of the hypnosis. As he stands, Brooke quickly grabs a towel and wraps it around him as he steps out of the tub, "It's a bank vault! I saw it! I saw the name. It's, uh... B-beacon hills first national bank. It's, um... it's an abandoned bank, and they're keeping them locked inside, inside the vault." He sits on the table and looks around once realizing everyone went quiet, "What?"
"You don't remember what you said right before you came out of it, do you?" Stiles asks
"No."
"You said when they captured you that they dragged you into a room and that there was a body in it."
"What body?" He asks looking over at Brooke
"Erica." She says, "You said it was Erica."
