Part 11
"Hey you, first year." A boy called, folding his arms.
"Get out of this compartment and find another one, before we remove you ourselves."
A group of four sneered, all standing with their covered arms crossed - adorning green and black winter coats that flowed freely just below their calfs over their grey blazer.
Green scarfs striped with silver wrapped loosely around their necks - nearly completely covering the pale skin.
There were two blonds, two brunets - all tall, lanky boys who looked at the age of fifteen or sixteen.
Five exhaled lightly and stood up, slowly, casually yet elegantly - leaning back on the clear window behind him, giving a sarcastic grin - his dimples filled with mischief.
He tucked away his diary inside his navy blazer pocket, thinking to himself after speaking.
"Make me."Assholes.
One of the tall blonds smirked as he took a short step forwards, clicking his fingers together - the sound dull and quiet, not nearly as impressive as it should have been.
How miserable.
The brown haired boys both took an obvious lunge towards Five, taking large steps that would easily make them very vulnerable to stability.
Their slow, unconcealed movements gave Five an unnecessary head start, the group of green clothed people left in confusion as the two swiped viciously at thin air - their legs giving way as something hit them harmlessly, but hard enough to make their legs somehow feel agonisingly numb.
Five gave a sly smirk as he tapped the other blond's shoulder, who was at the back of the group, smiling innocently as he spoke.
The two brunets groaned in pain as they clumsily picked themselves up, nasty scowls taking over the two's faces.
"Looking for someone?" He asked as he leaned back on the balls of his heels again, hands placed in his navy pockets - composure completely relaxed.
The boys all whipped their heads around instantly, shuffling their bodies slightly so that they could properly glare at the boy without being in awkward half turned positions.
"How in merlin's beard did you do that first year? You're not supposed to even know how to apparate yet." One of the boys said, thin eyebrows knitted together.
"It must have been an illusion, check the compartment again." Another said urgently, pushing past the boys to pat and swipe aimlessly at the empty green seats and the clear windows like the delusional person he is.
As the boys fussed for a second amongst themselves, Five heard the distinctive soft click of a door from the far end of the moving train - the sound nearly impossible to hear for anyone who isn't used to tuning in to small sounds such as that.
A familiar blue haze of energy surrounded him as he blank again, not reappearing straight away like he did earlier - allowing the boys to drown themselves in confusion, completely unaware of the near silent footsteps that were approaching.
The four that were trying to seize the old-timer turned back to face, nothing.
"Where did that rat go this time?"
"Where did who go, boys." A new voice asked - semi deep with a charming yet terrifying tone.
The four turned to face the tall teen who had just appeared.
He stood with his hands clasped tightly behind his back - his posture, stance looks, everything about him giving off a sense of importance that crashed over the boys like a tidal wave.
A small, silver prefects pin sitting proudly on his lapel - slacks neatly pressed, the near hidden undone graphite blazer only adding to that air of importance.
"There's a little first year who keeps messing with us, Lord." One of the blonds said in a tone of both anger and confusion.
Lord raised a black eyebrow curiously.
"I think that they're talking about me."
Five had returned to his original position, which was seated on the green compartment seat, while the four had their backs turned on him.
He grinned internally.
The four all faced Five one more .
"But, but you were over here" a blond started "just a moment ago! What did you do first year?"
"I was always here, you're just seeing things. You should get some sleep, give those minds of yours a short break." He said in a faux sympathetic tone, expertly masking the tantalising voice hidden beneath it.
Lord waved his hand to the side with one sharp flick, the boys quickly forming a free path as if they were puppets controlled by a single puppeteer.
He looked back at the boys with bored eyes after giving the old teen a single glance.
"Have you pathetic beings even thought about the fact that this boy may not be, in fact, a first year?" He turned to Five as the others allowed themselves to soak in realisation, their bickering immediately ceasing.
"I apologise for these boy's behaviour, they'd it seem to have become quite incompetent during the break. But if you don't mind me asking." He said, walking into the cool compartment - the air of authority almost suffocating.
"What year are you, fifth?"
Five gave a coy closed mouth smile, nodding.
The teen continued speaking, his words still running smoothly without any unnecessary gaps.
"You're a new face, transfer?"
Five pouted as if he were in thought, coy smile quickly returning.
"No, actually, this is my first time in the wizarding world."
One of the blonds hissed loudly like a kitten or a snake, quickly whipping out his wand.
"So you're a mudblood?" Five smirked mildly again, reading through his calculations in his open book.
He looked up at the boys.
"Wrong again, jackass."
