C32- ☆Planning☆

Hehe. I'm so excited for this chapter y'all.

My first attempt on Muzan. I hope he isn't OC in this because I really tried.

Unedited.

Enjoy~

♦️♠️♥️♣️

Muzan's true fear of dying and immense desire to live and survive was due to him being born "dead," where his heart would constantly stop in his mother's womb and was assumed stillborn until he fought to breath before his cremation.

It was Muzan's will to live and his near constant struggle just to breath as a human and fight against death were the reasons that constructed his obsessive desires to survive, and Muzan truly felt vulnerable whenever he was reminded of his human frailty.

However, times have changed and he was no longer the sickly man he used to be. He was now the progenitor of all demons, the most powerful demon in existence and it was only his inability to walk under the sun that was hindering him from achieving true perfection.

Which brought him to the conclusion that the blue spider lily, once he found it, he would be able to recreate the medicine that turned him into a demon and he would be able to erase any imperfections and flaws it would have.

Then Muzan would truly be the perfect creature that he is. But the hunt for the blue spider lily remained utterly fruitless up until now and a thousand years have passed already.

His subordinates were all so useless and incompetent. If Muzan didn't have any use for them, then he would've eradicated them centuries ago.

Even if he ended up killing one or two, they were all disposable and very much replaceable anyway. With so many ants and termites walking in two legs and polluting the planet, Muzan could pick any as a replacement and be done with it.

Humans were so weak and they were better of dead.

If something was useless and imperfect, then it was only logical to get rid of it.

Muzan tolerated nothing but absolute perfection and any room for mistake is nonexistent.

So why was it that even with all the demons that he managed to create, no one has find the whereabouts of the blue spider lily yet?!

Useless! All his demons were utterly, completely useless!

..Which brings Muzan to the conclusion that he just needs to create even more demons instead and wait until one of them manage to conquer the sun.

He's already slaughtered a bunch of people and made some of them his demons that he could use and dispose of later.

This gives Muzan a better chance at finding a way to overcome his only weakness.

Of course, it was not always easy. Those pesky demon slayers would try to hinder his path and miserably fail while doing so.

Sometimes they would succeed and some of his demons would end up dead. He felt no pity and remorse for them.

If his demons manage to kill a demon slayer then they need to kill and eat more of them. If they failed and end up getting slayed then they were nothing but a useless waste of space.

Someone else could replace them instead.

Muzan believes himself to be omnipotent already as he is the strongest creature alive.

He is the same as any natural disaster, namely something that is far beyond what weak little humans can compare to and fight against.

The Demon Slayers who keep on getting in the way of his plans are nothing but a group of pesky deviants who cannot accept the natural order of things and resume their lives as normal when other people simply move ahead following a tragedy.

And like little ants, they follow their leader, the damn Ubuyashiki who was the complete opposite of Muzan.

A frail and sick little twig who is nothing but an insect that needs to be exterminated.

He was getting quite impatient as that Ubuyashiki needs to be destroyed once and for all. He was the one leading the organization and once Muzan finds a way to destroy him, the Demon Slayer Corps would fall.

Then he would eliminate them all one by one until nothing was left.

They were incompetent fools who he compares to as nothing but broken records.

It has always annoyed him how those pesks would always spout the same thing over and over again, going after him to get revenge for their family, their siblings or child.

It was getting very repetitive.

Then there's still the problem of Nao's continued immunity towards his demon blood.

Muzan has successfully managed to create a medicine to relieve Nao of her curse but what Muzan doesn't understand is how Nao remains human after drinking his blood.

No human has ever achieved this feat before.

But it didn't make any sense. Muzan was able to transform Nao into a demon before. What made things different right now?

It was ironic how their roles were reversed now. Nao was sick instead of him.

She was being plagued of this sickness called humanity.

Though Muzan has successfully managed to win her over, he knows it isn't enough to keep her grounded towards him.

Nao has never stopped talking about that brother of his and as long as that damn Ubuyashiki exists, Nao would still try to leave him.

That cannot happen. Muzan would makes sure that Nao stays with him.

He would make sure of it.

Nao would stay by his side at all costs.

"What is Muzan searching for?" Nao's voice floated as she watched him work, her chin resting on her hand. There was a thoughtful look on her pristine features but she seemed very focused on what he was doing.

Muzan's face remained detached.

"An important ingredient. "He said in a toneless voice, both of his hands currently occupied as they held two vials of different color.

At some point, Nao had to know and even if she did know what it is that Muzan wanted, he doubted that Nao knows about it since she's lived a very sheltered life inside the manor.

"What ingredient....?"

Muzan paused, debating whether to tell her before finally gracing her an answer.

"The Blue Spider Lily. It is a rare species of its kind." He simplified.

"And Muzan is looking for it because..?"

"It'll help me rid of my problems." Muzan's answer wasn't very specific because he didn't like it when people know of his plans.

He was paranoid that way and even if Nao did know what it was for, she only needed to be present when he's managed to achieve the results he so desperately desires.

And then he would fulfill her wishes.

To walk under the sun with her.

Unexpectedly, Nao laughed softly.

"Muzan would find it very hard to obtain the Blue Spider Lily."

Muzan raised a brow, his expression not changing as he raised his gaze to look at her laughing form.

Her cheeks were dusted red and a demure hand was resting on her mouth as if to stifle the laughter coming from her mouth.

"And why is that?" He asked, mildly curious at what she knows.

Of course it was already a given that finding those flowers would prove to be difficult. Among his many demons, no one has managed to find any clues regarding the flower even after centuries have passed.

And this really irked him a lot.

Nao was still laughing and Muzan waited patiently until she was calm enough to speak, keeping his temper in check.

"Why does Nao-san think that a being such as myself would have trouble finding a mere flower?"

Nao smiled at his question, she seemed quite amused at his question but she did not look like she was belittling him.

Nao looked more as if she found it delightful, not caring the least bit how arrogant his words were. Nao's lavender eyes were bright and her smile as radiant as ever. His blood always seemed to rush every now and then when Nao is smiling.

And this always gave him the feeling of being alive with how his blood would rush inside his veins and his many hearts would beat wildly.

A clear reminder that Muzan is more alive than any other being there is.

Nao's presence only enhances this fact even more.

"Because blue spider lilies only bloom during the day and they lasts upto two to three days." Nao said in a nonchalant manner as if it was common knowledge already.

There was absolute silence in the air.

Muzan dropped the cylinders he was holding and his face whipped so fast to face Nao that she yelped in surprise when he was suddenly infront of her, hands immediately holding her down on the floor.

Her lavender eyes were wide from his sudden movement of pinning her down.

"M-Muzan?" Nao whimpered lowly, lips parted while looking at him.

Muzan's expression darkened as a feral smile crept on his face, his eyes redder than ever as the veins in his body emphasized from the sudden rush his blood was feeling.

His mouth opened to speak and his words were said in a low growl.

"During the day, huh?"
