Standing next to a ghost in a tiny corner, in a hospital, listening to the Cullens argue about killing Bella Swan, was not how I planned to spend my Monday after school. To be honest I'm not even sure how we got to this point, but what I am sure about is that from what I've heard so far, none of this would have ever happened if Edward Cullen just stayed away from Forks.

I don't really know that whole story, but 2 things I do know are that 1- Bella Swan not being crushed by a van has something to do with the Cullens mysteriousness and 2- Rosalie, Carlisle and Edward Cullen are horrible at whispering. Anyways, let's take a walk down memory lane and see where this shit show of a day started. 

It had been a week since Matt and I had started our friendship and I can confidently say it was going great and that I've never been happier in my life. Not much had happened during the week, I had gone to school, come home and listen to my mother yelling at the furniture to get her more liquor, get her more liquor so she doesn't beat me too hard......

(Even though it never works), then I would spend the rest of the day in my room studying as well as avoiding my mother, and then reluctantly going downstairs to cook dinner before crying myself to sleep (I don't do that everyday.......just the days when I feel like dying.......which is everyday so it's complicated).

Moving on, it had been the first day of the second week of school (try saying that three times fast), the excitement of seeing your friends and going to a new grade was over by now and everyone was back to their normal mundane routines (by that I mean students were complaining about homework and some psychotic teachers were already planning the first test).

I had to literally drag myself to school that day because I just wanted to curl up in my blanket and sleep, not figure out 4(x + 3) or who the 13th president of the United States was. I wasn't the only one who didn't want to come to school that day, I'm pretty sure Archie's mom had to drag him by the ear (it wasn't the first time she did this, at least this time he wasn't half naked).

We had met up with Di, Matt and Bella in the parking lot and the five of us had walked in together, Bella seemed distracted the whole time (I don't trust that girl, so I'm keeping an eye on her), but it wasn't until lunch that I realized exactly why she was so distracted.

 Walking into the cafeteria I was met with the sight of ALL of the Cullens sitting at their usual table with snow in their hair and clothes, looking angelic, with Edward Cullen starting at Bella subtly (some would say they looked like models, I would say they looked like they planned this). All through lunch Bella and Edward kept exchanging glances, when one would look up, the other would look down, it was ridiculous and nauseating.

(I'm pretty sure I threw up somewhere between the fifth and sixth time they held eye contact before looking away 'shyly'). After lunch nothing really interesting happened, well except that I agreed to help Mr Kim with this year's school play. When the bell rang indicating that school had ended I met up with Di, Matt and Archie outside and we talked about Di and Archie planning on taking part in the play. 

(Archie always thinks the school play is shit, the fact that he wants to join this year is suspicious as fuck......and I bet my Troye Sivan album that it has something to with Di). Bella was standing by her truck with air pods in her ears when it happened (and the Cullens were on the other side of the parking lot). 

Most of it was a blur, but I do remember seeing something or someone dart with inhuman speed in front of me and.........stopping the van from crushing Bella? After that everyone was crowding around Bella, asking her if she was okay, and there were ambulances and police sirens filling up the parking lot, hardly no one was paying attention to the Cullens at all and perhaps that's why they missed the looks of anger, worry and concussion of their faces.

Unlike what most people might think I am quite an observant person, especially because all my life I've been taught to stay quiet and in the shadows, to blend in because the punishment for that is less than that of standing out, and maybe that's why I didn't miss these looks. But I had no time to ponder these thoughts any further because the next thing I know Matt is driving us to the hospital with a anxious Di in the back being consoled by Archie. 

The hospital is usually very crowded during the day and it might be because it's the only hospital in Forks, or because it's a good hospital or maybe it's because everyone wants a chance to get a look at the exclusive Carlisle Cullen that works there. I'm pretty sure the man is more famous for his face and family then he is for his surgical skills. Anyways somehow in the span of 10 minutes, half of the school had made it to the hospital and were waiting in the waiting room.

Now many people might be questioning just how big of an impact did this girl make that half of the school is here, and well the answer is nobody knows, because I can promise you that most of these people don't even know her name, let alone who she is, but since Forks is a small town, nothing interesting really happens here, and as sick as it is, this accident is probably the most interesting thing that happened since Jessica Stanley's mom slept with the transfer police officer (I think his name was Officer Waylon and he was like 30). 

I unlike the other 50 people here was not going to suffocate myself by being surrounded by a bunch of sweaty gossiping teens, and therefore I decided to walk around a little and that's how I ended up stumbling into Mr Ghost.

He was hiding behind a wall, apparently trying to be discreet (and failing greatly at it). At first I just stood there gaping, but then decided.......what the heck, I've already had a conversation with him once, what could possibly go wrong this time. So I decided to walk up to him and tap him on the shoulder, and when I did he jumped as if I'd spooked him (yeah right, he's a ghost for God's sake), he turns around to look at me and puts a finger on his lips and goes "shhhh."

 And before I could rip him a new one for shushing me like a second grader, he reaches out and puts a hand over my mouth, while I try not to shiver (his hand was cold......like a corpse). After a few minutes contemplating whether I should bite his hand or not (it wasn't that hard of a decision, my right to speak wasn't worth biting a corpse like hand.....trust me you do not want that mental image in your head.....I'm already scared for life), therefore I did the next best thing......and that was to shut up and actually listen to what they were talking about. 

At first I couldn't hear much, I could only make out words and phrases like kill, danger, move again, threat to the family and take care of. Now the first thing that came to my head is that they are criminals on the run from the FBI, second thing was that they might be terrorists, but then I decided to move a little closer and heard different words and phrases.

I heard things like hunting, visions, read her mind and........we have to kill Bella Swan? Okay so I immediately scratched out my first two theories and came up with two more, 1- They planned the accident because Bella Swan knows something about them that no one else does....like a secret (that would certainly explain her weird fascination with them and the way Edward Cullen looked at her today). 

Or 2- they just really don't like Bella Swan (which to be honest is harsh, but......I wouldn't really blame them). I suddenly remembered that I wasn't alone when the hand blocking my mouth went away, I looked to my side and saw Mr Ghost was gone, so I looked back into the hallway and he was.......HUGGING EDWARD CULLEN!!!

What the fuck is going on here, but before I could do anything (what is up with people interrupting me today), Rosalie and Dr Cullen start walking in my direction so I make a run for it and I had almost made it out of the hospital until I saw Bella Swan and Edward Cullen walking out of one of the stair doors looking determined and wary (but trying to hide it), in that order (also Mr Ghost was nowhere in sight). 

I briefly met Edward Cullen's gaze, but I quickly looked away and then Bella had made her way to me and we walked to the parking lot together. Neither of us were saying a word about Edward Cullen or whatever had just taken place, the silence between us was thick, but neither of us was brave enough to make the first move (or in my case......didn't want to).

A/N: Soooo what do you guys think? I mean personally I'm not happy with it, honestly half the time I felt like I was writing this from somebody else's body.
