Naib's POV

I woke up, hearing cute snoring beside me.

I look to my side and saw a kid snuggled close to my body, her h/c hair covering her face.

I smile and caress the sleeping kid's head. "You're a heavy sleeper aren't you...." I whisper.

"Good thing she was. Your whale like snoring was hecka loud. I don't even know how she slept through that," a voice rudely retorts.

I glare at where the voice came from and saw the host, leaning on a bookshelf. I scoff and put my arms behind my head. "Good morning to you too, b*tch...." I mumble the last part. I think she heard because as soon as the words left my mouth, she glared at me and held out her hand. She formed a fist and suddenly, I can't breathe.

"I-I'm sorry!" I said, gasping for air. She nods and let her hand rest beside her. My throat was then once again, opened. I swear she hates my guts but I don't know why....

I quickly check if the kid was still sleeping and luckily, they were. Thank goodness.

I sigh and look back at the girl infront of me. "What do you want?" I ask.

She sits on the arm chair in front of us, she crosses her legs and arms. "The others saw you with a kid and now they're curious. They keep asking why you have a kid," Krazi replies and starts fiddling with her ear piercings.

I don't have a kid? Technically I don't. I'm just protecting her like what the host ordered. She stood up and goes beside us, poking the kid's cheek which made me kind of angry. "Can you not? You're gonna wake her up," I growl.

Krazi backs away with her hands up "Woah calm down dad," she teases and shoves her hands into her shorts pocket. "Breakfast is ready, and I bet she's hungry. Since, well, she didn't eat yesterday. Also, I haven't told the others that we have a new survivor. So you probably should do that before they jump into conclusions," She says and walks away.

I look at the kid beside me. I guess the host is right, maybe she's tired and hungry. Plus, I'm getting hungry myself.

I sigh and start shaking the smaller. "Hey, hey pip squeak.... Come on I'm getting hungry," I say. She toss and turn, but not wake up. I groan and grabbed her face, pressing it gently and teasingly. "Wake up or I'll take a picture of your ugly fish face," I joke. She started stirring, and soon enough, the kid sat up rubbing their small face. "I'm up, dad..." she says in between yawns.

Cute.... wait did she just call me dad?

I roll my eyes and smirk "Keep dreaming kid, I'm not your dad," I say and carry her. She kept groaning and hitting my chest "I'm sleeepyyyyy," she says and lays her head on my shoulder. "You forgot Dade, Naiiibbb," she groans and plays with my hoodie.

"You have to eat pip squeak. Plus the others want to meet you. Dade will be fine," I reply and enter the dining room, where a long table with all the survivors sitting.

It was all chaos, until I entered. Everyone was quiet.

"..... I'm curious where you got her..." Kevin comments.

"Me too...." William adds.

"Did you plan to tell us where you kidnapped the kid?" Freddy snickers.

Basically, everyone except those who we played with a match with yesterday and Esther where asking questions.

"WAIT!" Martha screamed out, standing on the table. "WE'RE FORGETTING THE MOST IMPORTANT QUESTION!" she adds. The coordinator then looked and pointed at us "WHO IS THE MOTHER?!"

That.... question caught me off guard.

Half of the survivors suddenly looked at Esther, even Azur was nudging her. Esther groans and hides her blushing face by covering it with her hands.

Did they seriously....

I blush and face palmed. They seriously jumped to conclusions already.

Y/N giggles at my face and hug my neck "You look like an ugly tomato," She teases and pokes one of the stitches I have in my mouth. "Oh, shut," I mumble, earning another giggle from the kid.

I slam the table with my fist and glared at everyone "First of all, this ain't mine! This is a new survivor! Also, I'm not allowed to touch Esther like that cuz her mom is-" I put Y/N's head on my chest and covered her other ear with my hand, so that they won't hear what I'm about to say "-literally child Satan!" I continue.

They blinked, confused. Until one by one, they started understanding.

I sigh and set the kid beside Esther and I sat beside Y/N, making her inbetween me and Esther.

Esther smiles at the kid and pushes her plate of waffles towards her. "We didn't cook enough food for a new addition today. You can have mine, I'm already full don't worry," she offers, pushing a barely eaten plate of food infront of Y/N.

I quickly shrug "No it's ok! You should eat! Me and pip squeak can share!" I say and try to push the plate back. She shakes her head and pushed it back. "I'm serious," she says and looks away.

I laugh and look at her "Esther....." I say in a threatening voice. According to the others, I get pretty scary when threatening others.

She smiles and drinks her water "That's not gonna work on me, Naib,"

Forgot she literally knows everything about me.

I hear a snicker besid me. Me and Esther look down and saw the kid giggling "You guys fight like how my parents fight whenever they force eachother to give me up to the chief so that they could kick me out of the village,"

That.... was dark.

I smile fakely and rub her head "Ehhuuumm.... ok pip squeak," I say and glare at Esther. I grab her face and forked a piece, putting it infront of her face. "Eat this or I'll shove it down your throat," I jokingky threat. She raises her brows and shrugs, opening her mouth.

*chomp*

Y/N suddenly jumped and ate the peice instead "Mmmm! That tasted good!" She says and grabs a whole waffle, nibbling on it.

Me and Esther watch as she starts consuming the treat. We turned to look at each other. I let go of her face and rubbed the kid's head. "Slow down kid, you're gonna choke," I warn. Of course, since she's a kid, she didn't listen. I sigh and drink water from my glass.

Esther takes the waffle, earning a whine from Y/N. "Listen to Naib, Y/N," she calmly phrases. The little kid humphs and crosses her arm. "Ok... moOOOM!" she suddenly blurts out, making me spit out the water I was drinking.

"Hey! Don't talk to adults like that!" I scold, half blushing and half shocked-did she seriously just talked back?

Esther was surprised as well. She looks down and fiddles with her thumbs instead.

Y/N started crying. I sigh and took her, hugging her and apologizing. "Sorry, sorry, I shouldn't have yelled, I know," I repeat, patting her back. She sniffles and looks at me "I-I'm s-s-sorry....." she said in between cries. I smile and wipe away the tears running down her s/c face.

"It's ok... but you forgot to apologize to someone else," I say and look at the black haired girl beside me. Y/N nods and climbs back to her chair and nudge Esther gently. "I'm s-sorry miss...."

Esther smiles and pats the girl's head. "It's ok. Just don't do it again, alright?" She reminds. The kid nods and hugs her. She then comes back to me and sat properly on the chair, eating her food slower.

"That's my girl, pip squeak," I say and pat her head.

"Ehem...."

I look up and saw the others staring at us....

"And that is how a two parents discipline their kids!" Azur quickly says.

I forgot we weren't the only ones here....

*timeskip 3 months later*

"And Dade once saved me from falling off a tree! Isn't Dade cool Naib!?" Y/N tells, her hand waving the rod where Dade lives in. I chuckle at her cuteness "Yeah, Dade's pretty awesome," I reply, stopping at a spot in the big yard behind the manor.

We were gonna have a picnic outside. Not the small indoor garden where Emma used to have the scarecrow. Y/N felt uncomfortable there saying things like there were dark forces living there. Good thing the yard behind the manor was still a choice.

We settled on the spot. "Don't go too far, pip squeak," Y/N went running around the garden Emma take's care of. She's so cute. No to mention the butterflies flying around her just added points.

I felt negative presence beside me, so I looked and saw Dade looking at her. I smile and switched my glance back to the kid. "She adapts really well here," I comment. I hear Dade groan, agreeing to my statement.

Y/N looks at us and waves, holding a red rose. "Naib! Dade! Look what I can do!" she yells, running to us and falling to my arms. She quickly shows us the flower. Suddenly, the flower began to turn.... black? The petals turned into an elegant color of black, as well as it's stem and leaves.

"See? See? I can control my powers better now!" She exclaimed happily.

Dade just stared at her, but I know he's proud. I smile at the kid and ruffled her hair "Good job, pip squeak," I compliment. Her eyes lit up as she hugs me.

"Big bad wolf Naib looks good as a dad," I hear the calming voice of Esther say. Us three look at the musician who just entered the yard. She was writing on a piece of paper while glancing at us some times.

I smile upon seeing her, rolling my eyes playfully. "Hey Essy," I greet.

Alyssa and Arthur suddenly pops out behind her. "Hey Naib, hey Y/N!" they say in unison. Esther shrugs her shoulder

Alyssa squeals and quickly goes to Y/N, picking her up. "Oh my! Look at her cheeks! So red and squishy!" She pinches and pulls her cheek, making me annoyed. "Don't pull too much please, it'll make her skin looser when she grows up. Plus it will hurt her," I groan.

Alyssa quickly lets go "Oops! Sorry!" she apologizes, carrying the kid to the flower patch. "Don't go too far!" I remind.

I hear Arthur sigh beside me. "Kids, right?" He says, making me chuckle. "You do realize, she's your sister and that she's not a kid?" I joke, making him smirk.

"Alyssa please get away from the poison ivy! Alyssa! Y/N! Naib! Please get them away!" I heard Esther squeal. I quickly look back and saw them about to touch the poison ivy. "No, no, no, no!" Me and Arthur yell and quickly grab them.

I turn the kid to face me "Why didn't you listen to Esther?! What did I say about going too far?!" I scold. Her eyes turned teary.

Goddamit Naib....

I quickly get my handkerchief "Stop crying, pip squeak.... It's ok..." I comfort, wiping her face. She sniffles and hides her head on my shoulder "I-I'm sorry, Naib!" she says and hug my neck.

I sigh and hug her back "Don't worry...just listen ok?" I say, pulling away and looking at her face. Her e/c eyes were glossy and her cheeks lit up red.

She nods at me. I smile and kiss both of her cheeks. "That's my girl,".

"DAD NAIB FOR THE WIN!" I hear Alyssa scream. Me and Y/N look at the three, who were eating sandwiches from our picnic.

I face palmed. Those three....

Y/N suddenly hugs my neck, kissing my cheeks in the process "Yes! And he's the best dad eveeerrrrrr!"

I love this girl so much.
