They reached in front of Jay's apartment and the door was opened by Rita and little Tara. Sidharth's face glowed seeing her. He spread his arms and took her into his embrace.

"Chachu ki Gudiya kaisi hai?" He asked while entering inside. Tara giggled as Vikas messed
with her hair.

"Hey Mahi..." Vikas waved to Mahi who was setting the table for dinner. She smiled back.

"Arre aa gaye..." Jay walked to the living room with wet hair, indicating that he had just took
a shower. "Chalo... dinner karte hain... bohot bhook lagi hai".

"Kya hain bhabi aaj khane mai?" Sid asked with a smile.

"Tension mat lo... tumhara peeli daal banaya hain maine". She said with a smile.

"That's like my bhabi". Sid said as Mahi giggled.

"Aapne dinner kiya madam?" Vikas asked Tara who's still in Sid's arms.

"Yes!" Tara happily said.

"Beta aap jaake homework karo... mummy dinner karke aate hain". Mahi said as Sid placed her on her feet.

"Ok mumma..." She said as she ran to her room.

"Chalo chalo... baitho sab". Rita said and they all took their seat. Rita and Mahi started serving everyone from their seats.

"Itna sannatta kyu hai bhai? Chup kyu ho sab log?" Vikas asked after observing the silence in the room.

"Kuch bhi to nahi... tu bol kuch". Jay said.

"Aunty... aap apni Punjab wali trip ke baare mein bataao na..." Vikas said eyeing to Sidharth. Mahi and Jay suppressed their smile.

"Please yaar... pachaas hazaar baar sun chuka hoon mai wo. Sab bolke ghoma firake wahi purani topic pe aate hain... Sidharth ki shaadi, jiske liye mai mana kar karke thak gaya hoon". Sid said frustrated.

"To haan kar de... simple. Fir hum nahi bolenge na". Jay said looking at his food knowing that
Sid is giving him a death glare.

"Kabse keh rahi hoon isko... iss budhi maa ki ek hi icha reh gayi hai ab... wo bhi poori nhi karta ye". Rita said.

"Offo... ab ye emotional blackmail hi bacha tha... wo bhi karlo aap". Sid said.

"To kya ab mera itna bhi haq nhi hai teri zindgi mai? Arre... mera bhi mann kartha hai apne
pothe pothiyon ke saath khelne ka".

"To khelo na aap... wo gayi haina ek andar... uske saath jitni marzi ho utni khelo...koi nhi rokega". Sid said.

"Yeh.... wo meri mehnat hai samjha... tujhe maa ko khush karna hai to khud mehnat kar". Jay
said before Mahi slapped his arm.

"Sidharth please... maan jaa na beta... dekh, mai tujhe bohot saalom se bol rahi hu ye baat. Lekin aaj tak kya mai itni serious huyi? Nhi na... main tujhe itna force kar rahi hu, to uske
peeche koi to wajah hogi na beta..." Rita said sweetly. Sid let out a sigh.

"Aap ko na...punjab bhejna hi nhi chahiye tha. Jab se waha se aayi hai... tabse yahi bolke mera dimaag kha rahi ho aap".

"To tere acche ke liye hi bol rahi hai na Sid". Mahi said.

"Bhabi yaar... aap to samjho..."

"Kya...kya samjhu mai? Tu tera reason bata... kyu nhi karna chahtha tu shaadi?" Maahi asked. Sid looked down at his plate and played with his spoon.

"Oh please... abhi ye mat bolna ki police ki Naukri ke chakkar mai nhi kar raha shaadi... sirf tu akela nhi hai police mai... bohot saare log hain jinhone duty ke saath shaadi bhi ki hai aur jinke bacche bhi hai. Tere friend Khushal ne bhi ki hai shaadi. Kam se kam usse to kuch seekh". Jay said.

"Arre... wo baat nhi hai..." Sid said without looking up.

"To fir?" Vikas asked.

"Teri koi girlfriend bhi nhi hai... phir kya problem hai tujhe?" Mahi asked.

"Sid, tujhe koi pasand hai to bata de... mai karva dungi shaadi... chahe koi bhi ho... terrorist ho to bhi chalegi". Rita said as all bursted into laughter except Sidharth.

"Oh god mom... itni desperate kyu ho rahi ho? Aisa kya rakha hai shaadi mai?" An annoyed
Sidharth asked.

"Agar ye baat mummy ne apne gharwalom se boli hoti na... to aaj hum dono yaha nhi hote..." Jay said before Vikas gave a five to him.

"Sidharth tu ek baar uss ladki se mil to le na beta..." Rita said.

"Haa Sid... mummy ne uski itni tareef ki itni tareef ki, ki mujhe bhi use shaadi karne ka mann kar raha hai..." Mahi said before Jay choked his food.

"Ye kya bakwaas kar rahi ho tum...! Ram Ram... Paapi aurat". Jay said as everyone laughed their asses out.

"Mazak kar rahi thi Jay... nautanki band kar apna". Mahi said.

"Sidharth..." His mother holds his hand and looked at him with pleading eyes. He couldn't
deny now. It's been weeks, since she had bought this topic and been disappointed every time.

"Theek hai... dekhte hai". Sid said in an uninterested tone.

"Kya bola tune...?" His mother asked in disbelief.

"Dekhte hai..." He said loudly.

"Bhagwan ka lakh lakh shukar hain... maan gaya mera ladka". Rita thanked god.

"Oh hello Mrs. Shukla? Kaun maan gaya? Maine bola dekhthe hai..." Sid tried to calm his over excited mother.

"Arre... tere muh se jo nikla, wohi badi baat hai... bas, ab isse pehle tera mann badal jaaye, hame baaki kaam fatafat karne honge. Sid, tu kab free hoga?" Rita asked Sid. He decided not to reveal about his off.

"Pata nhi". He said with a poker face.

"To ek kaam karte hain... main unko yehi bula leti hoon... to tujhe jab theek lage mil lena". Rita suggested.

"Oh, hello mummy... slow down. Maine sirf ladki dekhe ke liye haan bola, aur uss mei hi
aapne itna sab kuch soch liya? Agar main shaadi ke liye haan bolta to pata nhi aap to ab tak meri bacchi ke liye paayal bhi banwa deti?". Sid asked.

"Haaww...tujhe beti chahiye?" Rita teased him.

"Mom! That's not the point". Sid said in frustration.

Just then his phone rang. It flashed Khushal's name and soon he picked it up. Khushal is like a family, so he didn't need any privacy to talk to him. He attended the phone from his seat.

"Haa bol". He said over the phone while the rest of them got busy with the food.

"Kya?" Sid shouted earning everyone's attention. "Are you kidding me? 15 din? 15 din ke chutti kya mai kya karunga be?" listening to Sid, a wide smile took over Rita's face.

"Itne din tu akela manage karega sub kuch, Haan?" Sid continued in an angry tone.
But all the others could focus was that Sid is on off.
"Pata hain Azim bhi hai... lekin yaar..." looks like Khushal didn't let him complete. Sidharth takes the phone off his ears and mumbled a curse.

"Tu chutti pe hai?" Rita excitedly asked.

"Haa... " Sid said as he know he can't hide it anymore.

"Achanak kyu? Bataya bhi nhi tune?" Jay asked suspiciously. Sid skipped all the encounter mess from his family as he doesn't want to make them tensed.

"Arre wo maine iss saal koi aur leave nhi li na... to saath mai le liya".

"Tune kuch plan kiya hain? Holiday or something?" Vikas asked.

"Nhi... abhi tak nhi". Sid answered.

"Very good. Aur karna bhi mat... hum sab Punjab jaa rahe hain". Rita announced.

"Kya?" They all asked in unison. Sid's Kya was the loudest.

"Aur kya... hum jaa rahe hain punjab meri bahu ko dekhne..."

"Kya? Bahu? Kounsi bahu? Aapki bahu aapke bagal mei hi baithi hai... jitna chahe utna dekho. Bhabi thoda theek se baitho... aur mummy ko dekhne do". Sid said.

"Chup kar tu... main apni choti bahu ki baat kar rahi thi". Rita said.

"Abhi tak maine haan bhi nhi bola shaadi ke liye... aur aapne bahu banaliya uss punjaban ko?" Sid asked.

"Maine to dekhthe hi pasand kar liya tha use..."

"To aap hi kar lo shaadi... mujhe baksh do maate". Sid said folding his hands in front of Rita.

"Sidharth, aaj tak teri marzi hi chali haina... maine shaadi ke liye bola zaroor hain tujhe, lekin aaj tak kisi ladki ke baare bolke tera sar nhi khaaya aise. Maine hamesha bola hai ki tu kisi ko pasand kar le kar le... lekin tune nhi ki. Aur abhi bhi mai tujhe bol rahi hu ki tu dekh ke pasand kar usko... agar nahi pasand aaya to mai phir kabhi bhi kisi bhi ladki ke baare mei tujhe nhi bolungi... ye pehli aur aakhri ladki hai jisse maine tere liye pasand ki hai". Rita said in a serious tone.

"Pata nhi usne aap pe kya jaadu tona kiya hai..." Sid nodded in disbelief.

"Tu mil to le usse... tujhe khud pata chal jaayega". Rita said with a smirk.

"Sid, mummy itna bol rahi hai... please maan jaa. Ab to tu kaam ka bahana bhi nhi maar sakta, kyunki hume pata hai ki tu chutti pe hai". Jay also requested. Sid let out a defeated sigh.

"To hum sab ja rahe hain Punjab..." Rita declared.

"Sab?" Jay asked. "Office ka kya hoga?" Jay mumbled.

"Arre hum workers thodi hai... we're owners. Ho jayega manage". Vikas assured. "Ek minute, tumlog mujhe bhi le ja rahe ho na?" Vikas asked before Rita laughed.

"Arre... tera bina hum kaha jaayenge buddhu..." Rita said as Vikas smiled at her.

"Par Tara ka school?" Jay asked.

"Haan wo medicine padti haina?" Mahi taunted. "Arre... wo kindergarten mei hain... aur 4 din
baad unki chuttiyaan bhi start hogi... hum bhi chalte haina... mummy ne itna sab bola uske baare mai ki mujhe bhi usko dekhne ka bohot mann kar raha hai". Maahi requested holding Jay's arm.

"Theek hain... to chalte hai... mai tickets karwa deta hoon..." Jay said as Mahi and Rita smiled
widely. Looks like Rita had better plans.
