Also I did a Keefex fanart on Instagram (it's under the tag 'keefex' if you want to see it) and for some reason it got really popular? Like, only 35 or so people follow me and it has like 80 likes or something I'm so confused which one of you doorknobs cursed me.

Dex's hand squeezed Keefe's for a moment as he nearly lost his balance walking along the edge of the grass. If he fell, he was falling into the river. A few days had passed since they'd first met that boy and everything had gone down in the bathroom, but this was their first official date. Though, unlike other times where they were just two friends trying to get people to believe they were a couple, going on public dates, today they decided they'd simple walk around Rimeshire's woods.

Honestly, it was a beautiful place - both Dex's home and the wooded area surrounding the place where the Dizznees spent most of their time. Massive evergreen trees were planted as far as the eye could see with fallen pine needles lining the ground. The river Dex was dangerously close to falling into was a soft, inviting blue, though it was most likely freezing like the air. Mornings at Rimeshire, Keefe decided, were the best. Even if two bodyguards, despite their word that they'd stay far enough away to give them privacy, were probably stalking them.

Keefe smiled at the memory of waking up with Dex also awake, yet still placed in his arms with his face snuggled into his chest just before... said boy made a wrong step with a yelp.

Thankfully, Keefe managed to let go of his hand just in time to prevent himself from falling and receiving the same soaked fate.

He couldn't hold back a small chuckle as Dex's now drenched form sat up with a pout.

"It's not funny." The Technopath complained.

"It's a little funny." Keefe argued, reaching out a hand. "Here, let me help you up. Let's go home and get you warm."

Dex raised an eyebrow as he slowly took Keefe's hand. However, it took Keefe a moment too slow to realize what mistake he'd made.

Dex Dizznee, still pouting, jerked his arm towards himself, forcing Keefe to land directly on top of him into the cold waters.

"Dizznee," Keefe sad as he sat up on his hands and knees, "I am going to kill you."

Dex put a hand over his mouth in a failed attempt to hide his humor. A few snickers still escaped.

Keefe raised an eyebrow. Fine, if that's how the strawberry blond was going to be so would he. He dipped his hand in the water before bringing it up quickly, getting the water to splash directly in the Technopath's face.

Dex's mouth gaped open in shock for a minute previous to his retaliation. Of which continued for at least thirty minutes with Keefe doing the same.

At some point Dex had managed to push Keefe's head under the water while Keefe had gotten him to fall backwards and back into the water again and when Ro and Lovise found them, they were soaked. 

"You two are fools." Lovise mumbled, helping Dex out of the water.

Ro offered her hand to Keefe. "Dumbasses, more like."

Keefe shrugged. "That's why we're perfect together."

"Aww." Dex said sarcastically, taking off his soaked cloak.

Sorry to interrupt your story but there are birds playing outside in my backyard and it's really cute. At my mom's work there are chipmunks (like a horde of them, I mean) who also play and chase each other up trees and across the parking lot. Also at her work there is a bird and a chipmunk who are best friends and have been playing together for years okay sorry I just had to say.

"I will push you back into that lake, Dizznee." Keefe threatened.

"Okay," Ro said, wrapping her arm around his torso then throwing him over his shoulder as he let out a surprised yelp. "Let's go back home before you idiots get hypothermia or something."

Dex pointed at him, cackling like the evil genius he was before Lovise did the same, making Keefe crack up.

I'm really sorry this chapter was so short aaaaah.
