"What better way to cap off this exciting exhibition of karate than with a final match for the ages? Representing Cobra Kai, the Queen Cobra herself, Tory Nichols!" The crowd cheers as he points to her, "Coached by her senseis John Kreese and Terry Silver."

"And representing Eagle Fang Karate, Jamie Jackson! Coached by her sensei, two-time All Valley champion Johnny Lawrence, who I've just been informed will be joined by two-time All Valley champion Daniel LaRusso."

Jamie frowns as she turns to Johnny. He nods as he smiles. Jamie nods back to him before turning back to the mat.

"Let's go!"

Johnny and Daniel walk over to stand by Jamie. The girl turning to them.

"All right. Ready to kick some ass?"

"Yes, Sensei."

"I've seen you fight. Your technique is up there. Use that to your advantage." Daniel says

Jamie nods as she takes a deep breath.

"You got this, Ms. Jackson." Johnny says as he pats her arm

"Competitors, take your position." The ref says. Jamie and Tory take center stage.

"Come on, Jamie." Hawk says

"Let's go, Jamie!" Sienna and Amber cheer

"Ladies, good luck. Face this way. Bow. Face each other. Bow. Ready?" The girls get into position, "And fight!"

Tory starts off kicking at Jamie. Jamie uses her leg to block her. Pushing Tory's knee down to block her hit to her side. Jamie kicks at Tory, but she backs away. Tory goes to sweep her leg, but Jamie jumps up. As soon as Tory stands, Jamie kicks her in her stomach.

"Point!"

"Yes!" Johnny and Daniel cheer

"Jackson. Score, one-zero."

Tory huffs as Jamie backs away to her side. Tory goes to her Senseis before turning back to Jamie.

"Ready? And fight!"

Tory immediately comes off more aggressive which Jamie expected. Jamie blocks punches left and right. As she puts her arm out to block a hit to her face, Tory hits her in her torso.

"Point, Nichols! Score, one-one."

Jamie sighs as she gets back to her side. Tory jumps back and forth as she waits.

"Come on, Jamie!" Sienna yells

"Ready? Fight!"

Jamie kicks at Tory which gets blocked. Tory kicks at Jamie which Jamie counters with a kick of her own. Tory turns and lands a kick to Jamie's side.

"Point! Two-one, Nichols."

Jamie groans as she goes back to her side.

"I don't know what's wrong with me. I can't focus." She says to Johnny and Daniel

"It's alright. Trust your instincts. Use everything you've learned." Daniel says

"He's right. All of it. Don't think too much." Johnny says. Jamie nods before she bows to them and returns to center stage.

Jamie takes a deep breath as she gets into position.

"Ready? And fight!"

Tory charges at Jamie. Kicking and punching, but Jamie blocks all of them. Tory kicks at Jamie's side, but is blocked.

"No point. Blocked."

Jamie blocks more kicks and punches that come at her. When Tory punches at her she grabs her arm. She pushes her back and hits her torso.

"Yes!" Daniel cheers

"No point. No point. Out of bounds."

"What?" Jamie exclaims

"Come on, Ref! She went out after she got hit!"

"That's bullshit!" Sienna yells

Jamie takes a breath as she shakes her head. She was thoroughly confused as she gets into position.

"Ready? And fight!"

Jamie is the one to come off more aggressive this time. Kicking and punching to put Tory on defense which she's not used to. Tory goes to punch at Jamie, but Jamie shoves her arm away. Jamie kicks her hard in her stomach.

"Point, Jackson."

"Yes!" Sienna cheers along with the crowd

"Score's two to two. Next point wins. Ready?" The ref says as the girls stare each other down. "Fight!"

Tory kicks at Jamie twice and Jamie blocks. She then tries to punch, but is also blocked. Jamie kicks at Tory's torso, but Tory hurries to block.

"That's a block. No point!"

Tory kicks at Jamie and Jamie pushes her arm away. Jamie does a kick of her own as Tory backs away. Jamie blocks the punches Tory tries to throw at her. When Jamie kicks at Tory, Tory pushes her leg away spinning her around. Jamie hurries to turn, so Tory doesn't get an advantage.

The two look at each other to contemplate the others next move. Jamie decides to kick at Tory, but Tory grabs her and tosses her to the ground. Jamie immediately tries to prevent the blonde from getting the upper hand by pushing her off. Tory kicks up at Jamie, but Jamie blocks. Jamie goes over Tory and flips her. As Jamie sits up, Tory elbows her in her face.

Jamie groans as she holds her eye.

"Warning. Elbow to the face. Go to your senseis."

"Warning? Should be a point deduction!" Johnny yells as the two stand

"I didn't mean to. No, it was an accident." Tory breathes

"Go to your senseis."

Jamie turns to Johnny and Daniel.

"Are you all right?" Daniel asks

"I'm fine. I can still fight." She says. Johnny nods to her as he rubs her shoulder.

Jamie and Tory return to center stage. Jamie squinting her left eye in pain as they get into position.

"You got this, Jamie!"

"Ready? And fight!"

Jamie kicks at Tory. Tory blocks it and starts to circle Jamie. The girl breathing hard as she watches her. Tory then kicks at Jamie, but Jamie blocks. There were a couple more punches that Jamie blocks before one comes close to her face. Jamie hurries to push it away as Tory tries to kick her again.

Jamie blocks it, but it sends her back. As Jamie puts her arm down, Tory goes down and kicks her in her stomach sending Jamie down and winning the last point.

"Point. Winner!" The ref says holding up Tory's arm

"Hey. You all right?" Tory says immediately to Jamie. Jamie frowns, but nods before Cobra Kai comes and congratulates Tory.

Jamie stands up as Daniel and Johnny rush to her.

"What a match! What a match! Give it up for your first female champion, Tory Nichols!"

The crowd cheers as Jamie stands off by her team. Sienna comes down the bleachers and immediately makes her way to Jamie.

"And the winner of the Grand Champion trophy and still the baddest dojo in the Valley, Cobra Kai!"

"You okay?" Sienna says

"Yeah, I'm fine. I don't know what happened." Jamie says

"They cheated is what happened." Sienna says glaring at Cobra Kai who was making their speech.

"It's okay, Jamie. You did amazing." Hawk says

"You really did." Sienna says. Jamie nods before she's engulfed in a hug by Sienna.

As she pulls away, she looks around, "Have you seen Miguel?"

Sienna shrugs, "I haven't seen him since he got hurt."

Jamie furrows her brows before looking around again.

"He probably just went home. Maybe wanted to be alone." Hawk suggests. Jamie nods as she looks down.

Jamie makes it home and immediately throws her bag down and plops down on her bed. She pulls her phone out and frowns when she sees a text from Miguel.

Hey baby, I'm sorry I'm just leaving a text like this, but I didn't have much of a choice. Competing for a trophy isn't something that's important to me and I felt like I wasn't fighting for me anymore. I need to know where I came from and to know that I need to find my dad. This is something I have to do. Don't worry about me too much. I'll be safe and I promise I'll be back soon. I love you so much, Jamie.

Jamie lets out a deep breath she didn't even know she was holding. She throws her phone down and rests her head in her hands.

She knew she should've just told him to say what he needed to at the tournament. If she would've waited, she maybe could've talked him out of it.

She should've just waited.
