The teens had been sitting around the gym for a little while. Waiting for Johnny and Daniel to return, but after a while, it seemed like they wouldn't. So, Miguel had set out to try and find them. Leaving Jamie to sit outside of the gym. Her back against the wall of the gym with her knees brought up to her chest and her arms lying against them.

She looks over as Robby takes a seat beside her, "Hey."

"Hey."

"I can't believe we actually made it." Robby chuckles softly, "We have a good shot at this."

"Yeah." Jamie smiles, "This could change our lives."

"It definitely would." Robby says before looking over at her, "What's got you out here by yourself?"

Jamie shrugs, "Just waiting for Miguel to come back."

"You sure?"

Jamie looks over taking in the concerned look in Robby's eyes. Jamie's brows furrow, "Can I ask you a question... about Tory?"

"Sure." Robby says hesitantly

"If she had told you about going to Kreese," Jamie starts, "do you think you'd still be as hurt?"

Robby looks away taking a second to think over Jamie's words. He sighs before looking back over at her, "I would've tried to convince her not to, but you know Tory."

"But do you think you'd be hurt?"

"Yeah." Robby says, "Even though it would've hurt, I would've rather known than be blindsided, you know?"

"Yeah." Jamie nods as she picks at her fingernails

"Is there something you feel like you need to tell someone?"

"Yeah." Jamie scoffs, "But it's a major something that could hurt someone really bad."

"But would it be better if they knew?"

"I think it would." Jamie says looking toward him

"Then you should go with your gut." Robby says, "Even though it'll hurt, it's better if they know."

Jamie nods as her phone chimes beside her. She brings it up reading the message out to Robby, "Miguel says to meet him downtown."

"Just us?"

"Yeah." Jamie frowns before the two of them get up

After spending the next few hours training and preparing for the fight the next day, Jamie was exhausted. She and Miguel had decided they'd relax for the rest of the night. Sienna and Eli were out at a restaurant Sienna found on her trips out in the town, so the two stayed in Jamie and Sienna's hotel. Despite it still being pretty early in the night, Jamie could her eyelids start to become heavy. The intensity in the workouts she was doing earlier were finally taking their toll.

Her eyes snap open at the insistent banging on her door. She lifts up from Miguel's chest and frowns as she looks down at him. He sits up, "Who is that?"

"I don't know." Jamie mutters. Miguel throws the blankets off of him and walks over to the door. Jamie cautiously follows behind him. She stops beside Jamie's bed as he opens the door.

"Oh, sorry, I thought this was Jamie's room." She hears

"Uh, it is." Miguel mutters looking back toward her

Jamie steps up beside him, "Brittany?"

"Hey. I'm so sorry to bother you." Brittany sniffles

"No, it's fine." Jamie says, "Are you okay?"

"I-" Brittany says as tears begin to fill her eyes again, "That thing that you needed to tell me earlier, was it about your dad?"

Jamie's heart drops as Brittany stares back at her, "Um-"

"Brittany!" James says rushing over from around the corner

"Stop." Brittany snaps holding her hand up. She looks towards Jamie, "Jamie?"

"I-" Jamie stammers as she looks to her dad. His eyes pleading as he gives a small shake of his head.

"Jamie." Miguel whispers softly as he places his hand on her lower back. Jamie looks back toward him and he gives her a small nod.

Jamie turns back to Brittany, "Yeah, it was."

"Jamie-"

"Stop, James." Brittany says, "You caught your mom and dad together?"

Jamie nods softly as Brittany scoffs. She glares at James before turning back to Jamie. Her eyes softening significantly, "Thank you, honey. I'm so sorry for bringing you into all of this."

"Of course." Jamie nods before Brittany storms off

James watches her before looking back at his daughter. Anger immediately taking over his features, "What the hell was that?"

"Dad-"

"Do you understand what you've just done?" He yells

"Sir-" Miguel tries

"No." James yells, "You stay the hell out of this."

"Don't talk to him like that." Jamie snaps, "You destroyed your own family. It's not on me that you're a liar."

"I've only asked you for one thing." James says, "One thing. And that was to not tell her until I had it figured out."

"And I told you that I wasn't keeping that secret for you. She deserves better than that."

James chuckles bitterly before clenching his jaw, "You just destroyed my family, you know that? I hope you're happy."

"Yeah and I was your family too." Jamie says

"You were." James nods, "I don't know why I tried to come back. There's a reason why I left."

Jamie's face scrunches up sadly as James walks off. She lets out a breath she hadn't realized she was holding while Miguel gently pulls her into the room before shutting the door behind them.

"Jamie." He says cupping her face

"I did it." Jamie chuckles sadly as a tear falls down her cheek, "I told her."

"Yeah, you did." He says smiling softly. His face softens as the tears begin to fall more frequently. A sob escapes her lips as she shrinks into herself, "Oh, Jamie."

Jamie sobs as Miguel wraps his arms around her. Her own wrapping around his stomach as she grabs onto his shirt. Miguel places a hand on the back of her head before kissing her head softly, "You did the right thing."

"It still doesn't feel good."

"I know. It usually doesn't." He says, "But you did the right thing, okay?"

Jamie nods with a sniffle as Miguel pulls her closer.
