Eli sets the last bag into the trunk before Jamie closes it, "I'm so glad she got you an SUV. This would've been so much fucking harder."

"Yeah." Jamie chuckles as she turns to them. She sighs before pulling him into a hug, "Thank you."

"Of course." He says before she pulls away

Jamie turns to Sienna. Jamie groans, "Don't cry. You're gonna make me cry."

"Come here." Sienna sniffles before pulling Jamie into a hug. Jamie sighs as a tear falls down her cheek, "You're gonna call me all the time, right?"

"Duh." Jamie chuckles as Sienna pulls away

"If you don't, I'm gonna hunt you down in whatever city you're in."

Jamie laughs, "Okay."

"What if I come with you?"

"Sienna."

"I'm serious."

"You hate taking road trips with me and you promised Eli you'd drive down to CalTech with him. I'll be fine." Jamie says, "This is a good change."

Sienna scoffs, "Throwing my words back at me."

Jamie laughs as Sienna chuckles. Eli smiles, "Is Miguel coming down?"

"Um-" Jamie starts as she turns toward the apartments, "I don't think so. We sort of said all of our goodbyes last night. He's probably packing for Stanford."

"Well, just be careful. Okay?" Sienna says as Jamie nods, "Especially since you'll be by yourself until you drive to Stanford."

"I will. I promise." Jamie says before Sienna pulls her into another hug

"I love you, JJ."

"I love you, too." Jamie says. She pulls away and holds Sienna by the shoulders, "Now go. You guys were supposed to be gone a long time ago."

Eli chuckles as Sienna rolls her eyes playfully, "Fine."

Eli holds the car door open for her before shutting it after she sits down. As he rounds the car and opens his door, he turns to Jamie, "Call us if you need us."

"I will." Jamie smiles

He gets in the car and shuts the door. As the car comes on, the window comes down. Sienna leans over the centre console, "Bye, JJ. We love you!"

"I love you guys, too." Jamie laughs. As Eli pulls off, Sienna blows a kiss. Jamie chuckles as Eli honks the horn twice.

As soon as they disappear, Jamie looks back toward the apartment building. She takes a deep breath as she turns toward the driver's door.

"Jamie!"

Jamie turns quickly with her hand on the handle. The door opening slightly as she frowns, "Miguel? What are you doing?"

"Aren't you going off to Yosemite?" He smiles as Jamie immediately notices his backpack

"What? I thought you were driving up to Stanford for the summer program."

"Well, Stanford deferred me. I can defer them a couple of weeks." He says, "I couldn't stop thinking about how we never got to explore Barcelona, and I thought maybe it is a good idea to have some time before settling in."

Miguel steps closer as she lets out a breath, "Look, I... I know it's crazy, and I know we're going to the same school soon, but we'll both be so busy and I wanna have you to myself for a little bit."

Jamie chuckles as she shakes her head, "It is a little crazy to put off Stanford for me."

"Maybe, but it's you. I'd do it a million times over if I needed to."

Jamie smiles before pulling Miguel down into a kiss. He sighs softly as he wraps his arms around her. Jamie pulls him closer as the kiss deepens before pulling away. Miguel looks down at her, "I love you."

"I love you, too." She says, "But according to Sienna, I'm a nightmare to take a road trip with so you might hate me after this."

Miguel chuckles before shaking his head, "Never."

Jamie smiles before giving him a quick kiss, "Well, come on. Yosemite is four hours away and I wanna be at least halfway there before the traffic is bad."

Miguel smiles as she turns away and pulls her door open. As she climbs in, Miguel closes her door. She turns the car on as Miguel gets in and sets his bag in the back.

While he's pulling his seatbelt on Jamie gasps, "Oh, I almost forgot."

"What?" He asks

"Brittany said for me to check the glove compartment before I start driving." She says tucking her hair behind her ear.

Miguel pulls the compartment open and frowns at the mini backpack sitting there, "This?"

"I guess." Jamie says as he hands it to her, "I haven't put anything in there yet."

Miguel leans over the console to look over her shoulder as she unzips the bag. Jamie pulls out an envelope and opens it, "Holy shit."

"Oh my god." Jamie says as the two stare down at the stack of money sitting in the envelope. She turns to Miguel, "Is this real?"

"It looks real. Is there anything else?"

Jamie opens the bag and pulls out a card. As she opens it, she reads it aloud, "For all the nice things you're gonna want to buy and a little gift for Stanford. Have the best time ever and live your life for you. Love, Brittany."

"Wow." Miguel says. Jamie sits back and turns to him, "That's extremely generous."

"I know." She says as he chuckles. She starts to put everything back in the bag, "What am I supposed to do with all of this?"

Miguel shrugs, "I guess we'll find out."

Jamie hands the bag back to him and he sets it in the compartment before closing it. Jamie pulls her seatbelt on as she looks over toward the apartment building again. When the seatbelt clicks, Miguel grabs her hand.

"You ready?"

Jamie sighs as she turns to him and nods, "Yeah, I'm ready."

Miguel smiles lovingly as she pulls the car into drive and pulls away from the building. The two of their hearts rushing at the idea of the adventure they're going to experience together.

Jamie happy to finally live her life for herself. She had finally become a champion to the world and to everyone she loved and cared about. She was now excited to see how she could turn it into something more. Not just for the world, but especially for herself.
