Taehyung's POV

"Guys, please switch all of your attentions here" Hyuna squeaked out suddenly earning our attentions towards her direction as she made her hand in a mike shape in front of her mouth and began to say something interesting.

"Yeah?" we said in unison.

"So I know it's kinda embarrassing for me to say it like that but as our 2 years of togetherness is coming to complete this Saturday. I want to give Hyo-jong a surprise from my side and I need your help guys" she said nonchalantly.

"Hey it's not embarrassing and we would love to help you. Tell us how can we help you?" Aurora said excitedly.

"I've already planned about the place. And we just need to decorate the room for the occasion. I am already done shopping, only few things are left. I want you guys to embellish the room with me."

"Great, then give this job to Moo, she really has a good taste in decorating and if we all work together it'll be easy for us to complete it in a less time"

"Yeah, I'll help you as much I can" Pearl said beautifully.

"Thank you guys"

"I can inflate balloons" I said after a while, thinking about how I could help her.

"Wow Tae, you know I really suck at inflating balloons. My cheeks hurt whenever I try to do it" Aurora laughed out.

"Okay guys, so after the class meet me at the place then. I'll sent you all the address in our WhatsApp group" Hyuna said while making a 'friends' group on WhatsApp.

After the college, we four met in the 'Berlin coffee shop'.

Aurora and Hyuna went to the counter to order while Pearl was checking something in her phone. I sat on the chair infront of her, trying to talk with her as she looked at me suddenly. I got nervous in the sudden eye contact and she asked me calmly "Here the prices are so high on online, do you know any good stores around here?"

"Yes, I know few, what do you want to buy?" I answered in the right way without thinking as she just caught me staring at her awkwardly.

"I wanna buy a gift for Hyuna. So I was looking for some couple things but I didn't find anything that good." She replied and kept her phone in her bag while resting her elbows on the table.

How beautiful!

"Actually I was thinking the same and as we met after our high school, I want to give Hyuna a special gift for her anniversary".

"Ohh that's great. So when will you go to shopping?" She asked firmly.

"Maybe tommorow after our classes. If you're free then do you want to join me?" I asked her desperately.

"Yeah sure. That's a pretty good idea. We can go after the class."

"Did she just agree with my proposal?" I questioned myself as a heat raise through my cheeks.

By then Aurora and Hyuna came with their hands filled with one Iced americano for aurora, one Latte for Hyuna and two cokes for me and Pearl? She likes coke too? Great!!! I suddenly got excited about our same choices in drinks.

We discussed mainly about the decoration and how we all will give a surprise to Hyo-jong.

"The stuffs are in the house so we all just have to get there on time, right?" Aurora asked while sipping her drink.

"Yup and I'll call Hyo-jong to meet me there while you all will give him a surprise cheer" I said in a qualified way.

"So all set up" Hyuna heaved a sigh.

"Yes, now don't think so much, everything will be perfect as we have planned" Pearl said blinking her eyes.

We all got up and payed the bill. I came with my car so I gave them a lift to their hostel. Aurora kinda dragged Hyuna into the backseat so Pearl sat beside me.

I drove back at my house and unlocked the door, I had the spare keys with me. Mom wasn't home as I know she probably went to shopping. I took off my clothes, placed them on the couch and went to take a shower. After a while I came back and went to the kitchen to grab some snacks while drying my hair with the towel.

I switched on the TV and sat on the couch. But I would be lying if I say I was really watching the TV. All I could think about is Pearl, the way she told me she'll come with me for shopping still giving butterflies in my stomach.

"Tomorrow will be the first day I'll go out with Pearl so I've to make it as good as possible." I thought to myself and rested my back on the sofa.

Pearl's POV

It was the day we'll go to buy some gifts for Hyuna. But the lab work took extra half an hour to complete and after rearranging all stuffs in their right places Taehyung and I left the college almost after an hour.

"Where are you? Our class just finished now." I called Boo as we've planned to go shopping together with Taehyung.

"Moo, I forgot to tell, I won't make it today. Please go with Taehyung. And don't worry about me, I'm with Hyuna, bye, take care!!" Before I could tell something, Boo hung up the call. I thought not calling her back as Hyuna was there with her. Maybe Boo couldn't come cause Hyuna could get to know.

"What happened?" Taehyung asked me while we were passing the college gate together.

"Boo can't come, looks like we've to go without her" I sighed.

"She must be busy with something, don't worry." Tae tried to cheer me up.

"She sounded the same." I laughed "Okay so, where will we go? Did you think about anything?" I asked him while checking my phone if any message came from Boo.

"Yeah, it's in the 5th block, we've to take a bus from here, I couldn't bring the car today" He explained.

"It's okay Taehyung, let's go then"

"Pearl, watch out!!" Tae shouted and dragged my wrist fastly yet gently. I was so inattentive that I didn't see a car was coming to my direction. If Taehyung didn't help me then I could've ended up with a broken leg.

"Thank you Tae- Taehyung" He was still holding my hand while my other hand was resting on his chest because of the sudden reaction of that situation.

"Are you okay?" He looked into my eyes with full of concern.

"Yeah, I'm okay" I said and pulled out from his grip, hands went to tuck few strands of hair behind my ear to ease the awkwardness between us.

We didn't talk much after that. After getting off from the bus, Taehyung led the direction to the store.

We entered and I couldn't fit all the surroundings in one view. That store carried variety of products of different price ranges. There wouldn't be any problem to find something according to our choice.

"We've to go to the 3rd floor" Taehyung said looking at my direction while I was busy examining the whole area.

"The store is Multi - floored." I wander the whole area which as seen at once.

"Pearl, let's go." Taehyung called out.

We took the lift. The place looked so beautiful with so many products. I had to admit Taehyung had a good taste in shopping. Literally with him it got easier for me to find perfect things in less time.

There was a ring in heart shape which got my attention. It was so beautiful and I was just looking at it. Taehyung went to clear his bills while I was still standing there with my shopping cart. I totally ran out of budget after the things I already took because not only I bought gifts for Hyuna but also I took some t-shirts and few things for me and Boo. Actually it was friday there so was 25% discount on few things. So, I couldn't take the ring.

Taehyung slowly called me towards his direction as I paid my bills.

"There's a pretty good café around here, wanna go for coffee?" He asked while slowly taking all the bags from my hand.

"I can carry them to there" I tried to take a grip.

"Then it's a YES" Taehyung chuckled as he took all the bags and left me empty handed "Such a gentleman!"
