Taehyung Pov

Exhausted, I dropped onto the bench and placed my tray with my lunch on the table. Today there was something delicious on the menu, namely Mandus, my absolute favourite dish next to Kimchi-jjigae. Yoongi and Jimin already sat at the table and also had their lunch in front of them, but they hadn't touched it yet. They looked quite expectant, as if they wanted me to tell them something, but I didn't even think about that. I just wanted to eat. Humming, I picked up my favourite bright blue chopsticks I had brought myself and was about to eat a Mandu when Jimin stopped me.

"Don't you want to tell us something, Kim Taehyung?", Jimin raised his chin up, even an eyebrow as he tapped with his fingernails on the table. He could easily imitate my mother, because she did exactly the same, when I screwed something up and she wanted to teach me a lesson. Confused, I tilted my head a bit to the side and looked at both of them questioningly. I had absolutely no idea what they wanted from me or what I should tell them at all. "Ehm... Have I done something wrong?", I asked hesitantly and put my beautiful chopsticks aside for now.

"Yes, you did", both said at the same time, which is why I looked at them more or less surprised. What had I done? In the end, Yoongi finally enlightened me, "When were you going to tell us that you have a girlfriend, Taehyung-ah?!". My eyes widened in shock. Why did they know about my stupid lie that I had served up my mother? "H-How?", I asked stuttering and felt how my cheeks took on a reddish tone because of the shame. Yoongi crossed his arms and looked at me blameful, "Our mothers are cousins, Taehyung-ah! Your mother told mine last night on the phone!"

Hastily, I covered my face with my two hands. Oh God, if Yoongi and his mother knew that I had a girlfriend who didn't exist at all, then by now my whole family should know about this lie! How could I get out of that?

To tell them now that it was a lie that only served to convince them, that I had spent the night with Jeongguk was absolutely no option for me! Oh Gosh, what have I done?, I asked myself in panic, but didn't let anything show on the outside for others. Then I smiled timidly and mumbled softly, "Oh, that..."

Fucking great. I really got myself into something shitty... How am I supposed to get out of this stupid situation?
