❦ Chapter 2 ❦

Taehyung Pov

It's hard to believe that I would enjoy going to school for once in my life, but because of Jeon Jeongguk's suspension, it was so quiet and more peaceful. No one has to be afraid, that the next student would end up in the infirmary or that the next student would run through the corridors crying. Despite the fact, that I was always described by my friends as a good-hearted person, who liked everyone, I never got into the way of dangerous people like Jeongguk. I know I didn't know him personally, so I didn't know his true character either, but after all those stories and evidences, I couldn't assume that Jeongguk might have had a nice side.

"You agree, Taehyung, don't you?", Jimin's voice ripped me out of my thought, so I looked confused at him and stopped sipping thoughtlessly my chocolate milk. "Huh", I uttered and looked straight in the faces of my two best friends, who just shook their heads when they realized that I hadn't listened to their conversation again. "Today, you're only in your thoughts, Taehyung. Well, it doesn't matter", Jimin rolled his eyes for a moment and leaned a bit forward, "You also think, that Yoongi can't ask me to call him Daddy at school, can he?"

"Uhm...", I stammered uncertainly and didn't really know if I should give an answer to this question. I had the stupid disadvantage, that my two best friends were a couple, so every night I prayed that they wouldn't fight or something. I didn't want to stand between two fronts or something, because both of them had a place in my heart. After all, the three of us had known each other since the time in the sandbox. "Anyway, I think Jimin should call me Daddy so that no fucking idiot would talk to him", Yoongi said and demonstratively crossed his arms in front of his chest. Smiling crookedly, I raised my hands and said that I didn't want to interfere in their relationship matters and that they should clarify something like this among themselves.

As soon as I gave them my answer to this conversation, they began to discuss wildly. Sighing, I drank my chocolate milk again and let my gaze briefly wander around the cafeteria, where the students were eating peacefully. My classmate Yugyeom has told me that Jeongguk would return to school next Friday. Unintentionally, I had to think about what would be different if he came back again. We could never have lunch as peaceful as now, because Jeongguk usually slept in a lonely corner in the cafeteria. Everyone was afraid to wake him up, so it was often surprisingly quiet during the lunch break. Now everyone talked excitedly about their holidays and just enjoyed doing something without having to be afraid.

Everything was so peaceful here and made you feel comfortable at school.
