Here's what you will benefit from joining the Golden Quill Society's monthly book club :

🍁 Must be following the club and its founder.

🍁 Add this book to your reading list to receive updates.

🍁 Must be active and communicative.

🍁 You can only enter one book into the club at this time.

🍁 Your story must adhere to Wattpad Content guidelines.

🍁 Book must have at least 10 chapters.

🍁 We do not accept Story Stories, Fan-Fiction and Random.

🍁 We only accept English books.

🍁 Discord is compulsory, because unlike Wattpad, we can send out a reminder blast to everyone at a go.

🍁 Be polite, respectful and kind. We're here to help each other grow, not tear each other down.

🍁 Offensive or rude behaviour will not be tolerated. You will be banned or kicked out of the club on account of this.

🍁 All reviews should be completed and logged before the deadline.

🍁 If you're unable to finish your readings in time, let the moderator know at least 24 hours before the deadline.

🍁 Respect the authority of the moderator. They're here to ensure things get done, might have to be a hard ass sometimes when the situation calls for it, but it's mostly for everyone's benefit.

🍁 The Golden Quill Society operates four cadres based on genres

NEBULA - Fantasy, Thriller, Sci-fi and Action & Adventure

HUMMINGBIRD - Teen fiction, Young Adult, New Adult and General Fiction

PASSIONS - Romance, Chick-lit, Poetry and Adult

REVENANT - Mystery, Paranormal, Horror and Gore

🍁 Clubbers are grouped based on genre and the moderator assigns clubbers to partners monthly.

🍁 Clubbers are expected to read and review 10 Chapters of their partner's book monthly.

🍁 Clubbers are to leave at least 2 in-line comments and one end of chapter review.

🍁 End of chapter review must begin with the club's hashtag #GQS

🍁 When your reviews are complete, return to the Golden Order of the month and leave a comment.

🍁 Deadlines are the last day of the month, 10:00 PM EST.

🍁 Golden Orders will go out every first of the month and members have the entire month to complete their readings.

🍁 A reminder will always go out on our profile a week before and a day before reading deadlines.

🍁 We believe a month to read is enough time, if you're unable to commit do not apply as one strike means you're out of the club.

🍁 Make sure to follow all the rules, read this 'how it works' section thoroughly and be ready to commit before sending in your application.

🍁 You can always request an extension if you need more time, however extensions must be requested at least 24 hours before the deadline.

🍁 Hiatus lasts for one month, if you don't reach out after, you'll be removed from the club.

🍁 To request a hiatus, you must have finished the current month's reading first and you should request hiatus before the new monthly assignments go out to ensure you're not included in it.
