Chapter - 28 - Sunday
It was a normal; well let's just say, a lazy morning. Of course...........it was a 'Sunday'. I normally stepped out of the bed and gazed out the window, for what stood there, was an amazing and a beautiful Sunday morning. I moved my fingers in my messy hair and walked up towards the balcony. I opened the doors and took in a deep sniff at the wonderful smell of coffee that filled my room (it was from the cafés around my apartment). I looked towards the mesmerising view. Dark clouds, pinch of grey in the sky and hints of rain, everything that I ever wanted. I honestly love this kind of weather. It elates me and makes me a different person all together. I love how these clouds dwell together and form the perfect, blissful moment. I think, growing up, we didn't have a lot of exposure to weather like this. But, I have grown to love this weather. It is very gloomy for a few people; my teachers told me that this weather represented something filled with despair. But, however, because, I am a person who believes that everyone has his or her own tastes and likings. So, they shouldn't enforce their tastes on every one. Therefore, I paid little heed to what everyone around me had to stay. I am amused by the amalgamations of all colors. It spreads out all colours of grey evenly on the surface of the sky. Almost as if God had created a painting in the sky, by using all natural colors.
I walk up to the dresser and pick up one thick, hair tie and tie my hair in a messy bun. I walk up to the kitchen and look for something for breakfast (I had brushed of course!). I dug in my kitchen cabinets and I find a packet of Maggi. And next, I am using a saucepan with water in it to cook Maggi. Well, I have made a self-discovery, while cooking Maggi, that it never gets cooked in two-minutes. Unless, you are looking for raw Maggi. As, my Maggi is cooked and smells awesome, I fetch out for a bowl and pour 'my breakfast' from the saucepan into my bowl. I grab a fork and dug in my 'delicacy'.
After half an hour, I am one with my breakfast. I grab my bathing gown and quickly have a bath. Well, naturally, I like to shampoo my hair on Sundays. I come out and soak the water from my hair into a dry towel. I honestly, decided that I wouldn't do anything today. I thought I'd rather call Ishaan over and have like a 'Happy Sunday'.
Thinking about how I would spend my day in peace, I walk outside, into my balcony and sit on the floor. The same weather envelops me and I am lost in its beauty. I decide to make some coffee and then get back to chilling out. I also had to call Ishaan, but regretted being lazy. As, I was about to pick up my 'I-Phone' (what? It's just very funny). My phone rang in its same, unsporting I-Phone tune and I took a look at my phone. My eyes gleamed with joy and I immediately had a smile on my face as the name flashed on the screen.
