Okay guys am updating this book right now by 11:50 pm...௹﷼⁜⨌⫷

We we're all in the Kitchen trying to bake cookies and my mum and Mendel we're making spaghetti and meat balls.

Williams and Harry came over to have dinner with us and Harry was helping me out with the cookies, we we're pouring the white cream on all the cookies, before we would finally put in the oven.

Williams was doing the champagne and he was putting the ice cubes In all the cups and after that he started to add sliced cucumber and lemon to add to the taste.

I decided to look for trouble, so instead of pouring the cream on the cookies, I went over to Mendel and then I looked at his well made jelled packed hair and I smiled wickedly, then I looked at Harry and he smiled, then I turned back and then I dropped the whole cream on Mendel's hair, he had not yet noticed that there was cream on his head.

So I tip toed back to where I was and I high fived Harry and we continued what we we're doing.

As we we're trying to put the cookies into the oven, Mendel shouted, "What the fuck."

Everyone turned to look at him, and Williams and mum gave him that disapproving kind of face and Harry and I stifled out laughs.

His hands we're on his head as he tried to remove the cream on top of his head, then his eyes met mine and then he said, "I know it's you D."

I gave him that 'I don't know what your talking about' face and he rolled his eyes and hurried upstairs to go and clean the mess up.

Mum had to take over with the making the meat balls in a circular form so that she would be able to fry it and then she would be able to put in the Spaghetti.

"I need help in taking the drinks to the dining table." Williams announced.

I went over to help him and then we both carried the drinks to the dining table and then we helped mum to carry the plates to the table for the spaghetti.

Mendel came down through the stairs and he gave me that 'Your dead' look, I shrugged and went over to turn on the television.

I switched it on and went to the news, I know I love watching the news, my grandma taught me that it's good to know what is happening in the world and it helps in Geography.

I make myself comfortable on the sofa and then I watched as they did the highlights, after that they started to announce about a woman who was arrested because doing illegal drugs.

Today's news was something, then the man that was announcing the news told us that he's about to show us a video on how the police came to the woman's house to arrest her.

Then I waited for the video and then Harry came over to sit with me, he rested on my laps and then the video popped up.

I went closer and looked at the person that was being dragged and then I noticed that it was Fiona, wait Delphine your hallucinating, I stood up and went closer to the Tv.

But my eyes we're not deceiving me and it was really Fiona being dragged by two official police men. My mum entered the living room and said, "Delphine, you would spoil your eyes."

I looked at her, "Mum you need to watch this, Fiona is being arrested for doing illegal drugs."

She gave me that 'Are you sure' look. Then she came over and looked at it, she turned and looked at me and said, "It's really her."

Then Mendel came in and asked us, "What are you guys watching?"

I instructed him to come over and then the camera showed us when Dad was shouting at the police men, but they ignored him as they carried her into the car and then they shut the car door and then they drove off.

After that they showed us the explanation:

'Fiona Finland a twenty seven years old woman, born in Virginia, came to America and she has been staying here for over seven years and she started doing illegal drugs for two years and she was caught on the 29th February 2019 and the person that paid her the 500,000 thousand dollars was caught by the police and they took him to the court and they interrogated him and after two weeks of torture he finally admitted to the court who his dealer was and finally Fiona Finland would be going to court and unfortunately for her she would be serving her time in Jail for illegal drugs'

Then after that they went to Weather forecast. We all looked at each other and then I stood up and said, "I knew about it."

"What?" Mum and Mendel both asked in unison.

Wait did I say that aloud and then I looked at them and I shook my head, "I did not say anything."

Mendel rushed over to me and shook glared at me, "How did you know D."

Well there's no way of crawling out of this one, so I sat down on the sofa and crossed my arms, "Okay pip squeaks, I went out shopping one day and I was in the dressing room and I heard that woman talking about something with someone on her phone, and I immediately knew that it was about illegal drugs and then blah. blah, blah."

Mum looked at me like she had just seen a ghost, Mendel kept his hands on his chin and shook his head, Williams was staring at me like I had pimples all over my cheeks and Harry, well he did not know what we we're talking about he just looked at all of us.

Mum finally broke the silence, "How could you keep that kind of thing from us."

I shrugged.

Mendel groaned, "Your annoying, we would have gone to the police to earn money from that kind of case."

I rolled my eyes at him.

"Jeez Delphine, you would have told us."

I could not take it anymore, so I stood up to check the cookies in the oven, why we're they taking this as one huge thing, she's already going to the slammer, so no harm in that right?

The cookies we're hot as I brought them out and then I carried them to the dining table and then I sat down and waited for the rest to come so that we can start eating.

When they finally came and they sat down, mum was at the other end and Williams was at the opposite side and Mendel was opposite me, while Harry sat beside me.

Mum did a short prayer and I reached out my hands to grab one of the chocolate fudge cookies and when I took it and then I noticed some eyes on me so I looked at everyone and they we're all looking at me.

I dropped the cookies and looked at them, "Okay, I know am sorry for keeping that kind of a huge secret from you, but I was so distracted and I forgot about it okay, so please let's just eat and forget about everything."

They all nodded their heads at what I said and everybody helped themselves with food, mum helped Harry to put food into his plate, she looked like a real mother to him and I remembered what Bianca told me

'Please take care of Harry for me'

Even though I don't know her that well, I really want to take care of Harry as a big sister, I have always wanted a small brother to play with and it was nice having Harry around.

I peeped at Williams and Mendel, they we're talking about a big game and they we're shouting at each other at who would win the big game. God children would always be children...

I laughed at my own joke and then I looked at my mother, she was happy and I was glad with that and that happiness brought joy in my heart.

As we all sat down there together it reminded me of a one big happy family...
