Sonic and his friends went out to play Murder Mystery again for Amy's birthday. After the disaster from last year, she wanted to give it a second try. Of course, it wasn't hosted on a train, oh no, it was hosted in a mansion that Amy had rented out from Vanilla and Cream for the party. The cost being their participation, which Amy happily agreed to. Soon, the lights went out. "Hey! Who turned out the lights?!" Yelled Sonic. Sonic heard someone behind him and turned around to see no one. Soon enough, a loud scream came from the area and everyone rushed over to find Sonic's body. His breathing was slow. Too slow. He was bleeding. Someone there actually tried to kill him! The only question is... who dunnit? -Izzy_Existence 

"You plan on spoiling my birthday, douchebag?!" Yelled Amy. It was real blood, not sauce or paint. A real fluid flowing out through his bone marrow. If a trained medical assistant wasn't present then they would be heading to his funeral instead of the hospital. "He was bitten with something- unusual." The doctor informed. Suggesting a vampire wasn't a good idea, was it? -_sheisvintage

The sound of soft breathing was mixed with the steady beeping of machines, echoing in the full room. All of the Sonic crew were there, sitting in chairs, standing in corners, all trying to figure out who hurt their friend, their brother, their rival. Said person lay asleep on the hospital bed, bandages wrapped around his neck. "Thank god he will be ok..." Amy whispered. "But why can't I have one birthday without Sonic getting injured?" -ScaryandTrue07

Her trail of thoughts were broken by sudden rush of noises. "What on earth?" Their friend shrieked in disbelief. The whole hospital was in a mess, the patients magically stood up and chose to what? Run behind their doctors? Everyone seemed terrified of the view except a pair of eyes whose lips knowingly turned into a smirk with a sudden pride crawling up and gushing his mind. The was pinged with a phone call which he gladly accepted, "Game on, dear daughter!" -_sheisvintage

Sonic, who was asleep, was blissfully unaware of the danger surrounding him, the terror that hung thick and heavy in the air. His friends all stood, facing the monstrosity that stood in front of them. "Who the heck are you?" Shadow growled, charging up a chaos spear in one hand. -ScaryandTrue07

"Oh, do I really need an introduction? Won't my dearest daughter wish to introduce me? Ouch I'm hurt!" Said the man in a creepy tone with a tilted neck. "I'm anything but your daughter! What did you-?" Amy screamed in displeasure to which he laughed hysterically much to her dismay. Her ex-step-father was mentally ill after all. -_sheisvintage

Shadow whipped to the side, "Who the hell is this, Rose?" Silence was held in the air for a good moment, before Amy heavily sighed. "This... this is my ex-step Father. He is absolutely crazy, AND WILL LEAVE NOW." Amy pulled her hammer out, glaring at the man in front of them. But right as she was about to charge, the man placed a hand over the still knocked out hero's neck. "Don't you dare hurt Sonic anymore you monster!" Knuckles growled. -ScaryandTrue07

"What am I getting in return huh?" The sick man stated in a gruff voice sending chills through their spines. "What do you want?" Amy shivered. "Um, what about your hands? We need to cut a cake after all." The man said tapping his chin with his index finger, pulling out knives. The teenagers in front of him, who froze hearing his words. -_sheisvintage

After a few moments, someone spoke up. That person being Knuckles. "No. You will not hurt Amy." He crosses his arms and glares at the man who scoffs. "Try me." He says, gripping his knife tightly in his hand. -Izzy_Existence

"Look, stop this all drama. What do you want?" Amy asked, not liking the track of the situation. "Now, that's like my daughter. Darling, I want you to go get your family's sword for me." He said with a smirk. "And why would I do that?" She questioned with courage, knowing what that sword meant to her dead mother and her family. "Sonic doesn't have much time, does he?" -_sheisvintage

At that moment Sonic shifted, groaning softly he awoke, only to see a man with a knife over him, and all his friends ready to fight. "What the?!!" Doing what any hero would in that situation, he shot up, forgetting about his injuries and the IV. He gasped when suddenly there was a pain in his arm, the IV being ripped out. And the man took this opportunity, wrapping an arm around Sonic neck, holding him in place, the knife held at his heart. "Well Amy dear? What do you say?" -ScaryandTrue07

Amy sighed, looking around for anything that could help her escape from the situation she is in. Only after a few moments she had realized something... Where is Shadow? Just as she thought that, she heard the most common words, and at that moment, life saving words, she could ever hear "Chaos Control!" Shadow appeared in front of the man and took Sonic from his arms, trying not to hurt him more than he already is. He chaos controlled again, and appeared next to Amy and the others, holding the hurt hero in his arms. Amy looked at Shadow smiling, glad that her blue friend was now safe. "Get Sonic to a safe place and protect him!" yelled Amy, a smirk forming on her face. "Now the fight begins." -lovingithere3

Shadow nods at the pink hedgehog and chaos controls away, hoping he doesn't use too much of his energy in the process. Meanwhile, Amy pulls her hammer out and starts to fight her ex-stepfather. Amy swings at him, and he blocks it, throwing her across the room. She grunts as she hits the wall. Knuckles growls at the man and throws a punch that he dodges, punching Knuckles in the face. He goes one-on-one with him for a while until Tails hits the man unconscious with a fire extinguisher he got from the emergency safety glass on the wall. Amy's ex-stepfather lays on the floor unconscious, while the group ponders what to do next... -Izzy_Existence

5 Hours Later
Silence hung in the air as Team Sonic and Team Dark stood in Tails workshop. The crazed man was laid down, surrounded by a glass cage. "Let me get this straight.. That man, the one who nearly killed me, is your crazed ex-step-father..?" Sonic was sitting on a table, bandages wrapped around his arm, neck, and head. Amy nodded, "Pretty much..." Tails turned to Amy, "What was he talking about when he said family sword or whatever?" -ScaryandTrue07

"Ahh, I don't know about this inheritance stuff, nor do I give a shit. Anyways you get well soon, dummy." Amy sighed at her friend. "And what about your birthday, madam?" Sonic questioned with a slight teasing in his tone. "It's busted like your nose." Amy rolled her eyes before turning her wheels to somewhere. Who knows what will come to them? -_sheisvintage
